hey guys welcome back to another episode i'm sam and i'm taylor and we are together again yes first one back and i'm sure the audio for you guys is so much better yes the last few episodes have obviously been um away from each other so we've been doing it on just our macbooks but now we're in person so with our microphones and our neon sign and our candle lit yes the right vibes it is the right vibes we are also too another thing is i don't even know if

if they noticed last episode should we explain that what like how we had to film the next morning because of the audio

Oh, I think we explained it. We did? Yeah. Oh, yeah. Duh. Because we explained it because it was the next episode. Yeah. We had that big issue, but we got it up for you guys and now we're recording in advance. Yeah. We're good. We're going to start doing it on Wednesdays now, just in case. Yeah. And be strict with it. Yes. It must happen on Wednesdays. Yes. Even if it's...

6 30 at night we're still doing it which it is because like we live together there's no excuse yeah no excuse we had a good day today though because we were a little bit off our routine but like still on our routine but just like a different schedule for ourselves today yeah we didn't go to the gym until like 1 30 which was weird because when we were at lift atx the sun the heat was beaming whereas like we go in the morning and it's

If you guys live in, this can be like relevant to anywhere you live, like down on the south, obviously not up north, but like in the morning it's so cold and then honestly it can jump like 20 degrees throughout the day and it's like way hotter. So it was nice. Yeah, and not even like hot, just like 70. For me it felt like hot though because I was like, oh my God, I could like lay here and sunbathe. But it was nice. It wasn't like even sweat. Yeah. It was just beautiful. Yeah.

And we were working out in the freezing cold the other days. And it was just so hard. We couldn't bench for anything. It was embarrassing. It was so embarrassing. So embarrassing. I was like, what is going on? I've been tracking my food consistently compared to when I was home. I wasn't tracking at all. And I felt fine. I felt kind of strong. But all of a sudden, I'm tracking. I'm home.

And my strength was non-existent. I'm attributing it to the very cold weather because it was like 40 degrees. Yeah. And I just think the cold was not it. Definitely agree.

But the workout today was fun. We got to meet a friend. That was super cool. We've just been getting our things done. Both of us made the realization coming home that Austin just feels like home. Yeah. Our apartment feels like home. We love it. It was definitely helpful having everything like done in the apartment when we got back because like we said last month before we left, we bought a bunch of stuff like to decorate the apartment and like finalize it. So now it's like home. Yeah. It really feels like home when I'm

back in like miami i don't feel home here feels yeah i'm the same way i feel off routine when i'm home like boston home like i'm off routine and i don't like it well yeah i'm like i can't even talk about i already talked about it last episode i'm just like a wreck but here just feels so like the best version of like myself like i'm gonna wake up and it's also because we live with each other like when i when i'm home i could sleep in because who's coming

Like, who is, like, you know, there to care? Yeah. Which, obviously, I mean, I could sleep in. We have two cars. I could go to the gym. But we just don't. I would feel so weird just, like, letting you sleep and, like, being, okay, I'm gonna go to the gym now. Yeah. It is so weird because we built such a habit and, like, a routine for ourselves that it would just be weird as fuck. It's also easier for me to wake up here. Waking up at, like, 8 at home was, like...

But here, I get right out of bed. And I've been reading here. I'm just really on it. I really am that wellness girl this week, and I'm loving it. Not to be like that New Year cheesy bitch. I love it.

I feel so good. Taylor made me have my first ever wellness shot today at Juiceland. That was your first ever? First ever. It was disgusting. It was so yummy. I just, I haven't had the reason to buy one. I'm like looking at it. I'm like six, $7 for a shot. Why would I ever want to do that? Okay. Yeah. Okay. To be fair, I, I, I do get them as PR. So that's the only reason I have them, but I love them. That one wasn't a ginger one though. It was like apple cider vinegar and something. It had a lot of stuff in it. It had ginger in it. It had like a lot of shit in it.

I liked it. It did kind of taste like vinegar, which wasn't the best, but I like them. I'm weird. I'll have to try like a different one, but that one was disgusting. The ginger ones are better. I don't think I will ever have that exact one again. You would like the ginger one. The ginger ones are like spicy. Okay, yeah. Like the apple cider vinegar. It was like rotten in my mouth. Like it just felt like slush. No, the apple cider vinegar wasn't the best. I definitely prefer a ginger shot, but I've just been...

We had so many self-care appointments. Yes. Just been keeping everything super organized, putting on makeup. I feel so good about my content. I really edited the vlog from two days ago.

And I really like the effort I put into it. So obviously with Vlogmas, trying to post like four or five times a week, I was just, they needed to get cranked out. Especially with also being ahead of it because you're going home, you know? Like you knew you were traveling, so you knew you had to be on top of it anyway. Yeah. It didn't help. And this, I really felt like I put a lot of effort into it and I put all the text I wanted and I was really happy with the video. And I was like, okay, this feels nice. Yeah. Like really happy with the content. No, it is nice.

that i'm putting out so i just feel really on my game honestly yeah i like it a lot and i know we're gonna travel and i'm gonna be like god damn it because i just i feel like though we will stay on top of it next week i really do i don't know i'm really excited for it there's so many people we get to finally meet that we've been like interacting with on i just want to like relax and i know when we come back it's not even gonna be like relax yeah no relax time but relax it's weird because when i'm home

I super relax. I do nothing, but I don't want to do, I don't want to feel like a lazy sack of potatoes. Yeah. I want to just like work during the day. And by this time now we're podcasting, just be able to chill in my own bed. I agree. I'm the same. That's my ideal day. Um, but yeah, what have I done this week? I got baby Botox guys this week in my, in my forehead. Um, I'm now three days in and I think at the fifth day, that's when they said it's like,

you'll notice changes and it takes up to two weeks but yeah I did like the most minimal thing ever because I don't want to jump right into it being super scared that like anything went wrong you never know so I started off really minimal and then she was like you can come back in like a a month or two if you want like updates or anything added but I think I caught like

six or eight units, I think, in my forehead, but I can't remember. But yeah, so that's a little update on me. And then I'm getting a spray tan at the end of the week. So I'm excited for that first ever spray tan. Fun. Yeah, super fun.

um we got brazilians again oh yeah that'll be up on my vlog channel not my vlog channel my youtube channel on monday sam's first experience is already up but we did that i got my hair done i got my eyelashes done i got my nails done before la yeah oh yeah i don't know if i want to get my nails done i have rhinestones on mine and two of the rhinestones fell off yeah i'm like in between like needing a refill i'm not needing a refill like i could survive if i didn't go but like

I don't know. We'll see. I don't really know if I'm vibing with this color. I've been letting my nails stay on for like a month. Yeah. Like I really could keep it. Yeah, you could. It's just the two rhinestones fell off. Wait, let me see. You see? Yeah, we can't really tell that much to be honest. Yeah, whatever. Anyways, yeah, that's pretty much been it. Just really being, for me, just being like that girl. Being on routine. See, I've got Botox. One of the things that I've done too this week that I totally forgot is like,

Yes, my bedroom's fine, the kitchen's fine, living space is fine, but my bathroom. I don't know why my bathroom is not organized at all. So I literally spent $100 on Amazon this week and got a bunch of storage things for my closet in the bathroom and then just like...

Things are stored in so, oh my goodness, I cannot wait to show you guys, but my bathroom's going to be aesthetic. You know those TikTokers that you see and they're super aesthetic with their bathroom organization? I'm like, I want to be like that.

My sister was like that. Shout out, Samantha, if you're listening. But in her guest bathroom, I opened the thing and she literally looked like a person on TikTok. She had a thing of like spray, mini spray deodorants for guests, a thing of razors for guests. I know, I need to do that too. Like reusable makeup wipe, like one makeup wipe. Like so TikTok girl. And I'm like, what the hell? I'm gonna do that. I did the same thing, kind of. I was gonna buy a few things. I wanted a medicine cabinet because my bathroom doesn't have shelves in it. Sam says like a little...

shelfy thing. I have no shelves and I realized I just really, really need shelves because my skincare spills in a drawer. Anyways, whatever. So I was like, Oh, I can get a little medicine cabinet on Amazon to be cheap. I'm thinking $30 for a little mirror with some shelves in it. I can like, man took it to the wall. I was literally thinking $30. I was on Amazon. Almost all of them were close to $200. And I was like, are we for real? So I found one and,

For like 50 or maybe it's like 60. I don't know. It was the cheapest one I could find. And I was shocked. I thought they were going to be. No, I didn't even want lights. I literally just wanted like a fricking, I wanted, it's even more like, it's like white more so matches like the cabinets and stuff. And I just wanted like a mirror, like,

Anyways, if you didn't know, Madison cabinets are freaking expensive on Amazon apparently. And I was going to buy more stuff, but then I didn't because I was like, I just, I didn't know this was going to be like. Yeah. I thought I could spend close to $70 on like multiple things. Yeah. So I was pissed. But I have to redo my closet too because after living here, I just realized the way I put stuff. I know.

doesn't like it's not working for me my closet's set up terribly I hate my closet I have an entire pile in my closet right now of things I just want to get rid of oh mine is on my floor I'm like debating putting it on Poshmark but it's like it's like sweaters and like random like attire things that I feel like no one ever really wants no I can't do Poshmark sorry if like you placed an order and it got cancelled I had to go home

And it's just so much work to ship the Poshmark that I'm just going to bring it all to Goodwill. Yeah, I don't know. I might do that too with you. Yeah, we do tomorrow. Yeah, okay. Yeah, let's do that then. Cool. Plan made. Cool. You guys know what we're doing on our fine Thursday. Yes, we'll be going to Goodwill and dropping off clothes. But yeah, I need to redo my closet because I just realized the way it's set up. My closet's set up, one, just terribly, but the way I have things in there isn't working out. So we need to switch that. But yeah, that's pretty much all.

Yeah, same for the most part, I guess. I'm pretty laid back. It's weird because I even said this last week. I'm like, I honestly forget what to talk about. I know that like it's like a whole week, but I'm like a week feels so long. I'm like, I can only really talk about the last few days because I'm like, oh, I remember what I'm watching The Bachelor. Oh, yeah, we are watching The Bachelor. Oh, we're doing Bachelor updates on this. No, but what if we ruin it for some people? Skip. No. No.

okay okay fine but like not like juicy things like no we're not gonna go like in freaking hour-long conversation on the episode but i like to just make like you know comment on them like what do you think of so-and-so yeah you know no but okay so guys taylor is full-on making me obsessed with bachelor again i have not watched it probably since my sophomore year of

honestly, just because it gets cheesier and worse and worse and worse. Like I was so into like the love aspect of it, but no, I came back and now I'm watching it. It's like a comedy show. Yeah. That's why I like watching it. Yeah. I like the bachelor because the girls are fucking nuts. And the guys, when it's a bunch of guys, I find they all just try to be so like night and shining armor. And like, I love you so much. And the girls just like cat fight. Yeah.

yeah it's so funny i love it this is it was better than i could have ever imagined like i was like oh my god you can watch the bachelor with me it's only a second episode jump right in because we don't watch a show together so i was like you need to watch the bachelor with me and at first you're like this is like this show is like so dumb and then it got so good like me and her just sitting on the couch just like like like talking shit back and forth we're like are we serious like what's the girl's name cassidy and shanae freaking

bro like bonkers i was like what in the hell and janae is insane too like super insane like oh we were literally saying like if they made it to the final two they'd literally like kill each other like the hunger games hunger games they'd like their mouth would be like drooling like and then mine and then there was like twitter tea because she spoiled the next episode on her like

Twitter? I don't know. Well, it was a TikTok video because she was like green screening. Yeah. I don't know. She definitely deleted it because she definitely got in a lot of trouble. Yeah, I couldn't find it. I looked on all of them.

Can't find it anywhere, but it's just so juicy and so good. So you should definitely watch the bachelor. Um, talk in the Facebook group about it if you want. Oh yeah. Facebook group. Let's talk about that real quick. I've been freaking loving. Yeah. Sam loves the Facebook group. I love it. Like, I'm not going to lie guys. I go to bed every night reading your guys's posts in there. So just know that like someone's watching and it's me. Yeah.

Sounds so creepy. But honestly, no, I love it. Like sometimes I'm scrolling and I just get like so emotional because I'm just like, wow, we did that. We did that. Like there's a community where like you don't like it's just so everyone's so involved in the Facebook group. And I think it's so cool because you can't really do that on like Instagram. You can't do that on any other platforms. I like that they can like give each other advice and recommend things.

and recipes and all those things. And now they are meeting up in person. Yes, it's so wholesome. It is. It's really just wholesome content. No... I know. It's probably honestly the only place... I should read it more because I'm only on like toxic TikTok. Yeah. And that's just straight wholesome. Get onto Facebook. It's a good vibe. Yeah, I'm just not used to going on Facebook. You know what I mean? Yeah. It's not in my routine. I mainly have been going on to like accept people into the thing because, dude, my DMs are flustered with...

like add me and add me oh my gosh i do it like 20 times a day please like calm down i'm they know to dm you because they heard me say that i don't i know probably and they heard me be like i don't know how to use it yeah but then like yeah no but you were like i was like i am adding people am i not adding people because i keep pressing accept but i guess i'm not accepting the right thing think about it in 12 days of having that page there's over 3.5

There's 3.7. 3.7 now. So I've had to accept that many people into, well, you've obviously done some too, but it's just like, it's so many people. Okay, but I keep doing them into like groups. No, I'm doing it in groups too, but every time it's only like 20. I feel like I never get just like accept into like,

this the page do you have to get into groups or do you have to get into the page just the groups follow the page but then you have to be accepted into the groups okay so I was doing it right yeah you were doing it right okay cool yeah no good job yay I'm like I this is all I see and I don't know how to use this but

but no, it's, it's been a good time and I'm loving it. So keep tagging us in the like meetups you guys are doing. I know the Florida girl said that they're meeting up with each other, um, at the beach and going to the gym. That is how Taylor and I met. So I, I love that. Um,

who else should I give shout out to? I don't even remember. The Transformations. What? The Transformations. Yeah, the Transformations too. Okay, so we had a girl, Molly. She was nominated this week for her transformation that we uploaded, but I did say on the Facebook page in the post, like I posted something last night saying that like, just make sure you guys are interacting with each other, posting stuff, stuff like that because we are going to pick twice a month two of you guys to be featured on the Instagram. I'm not going to necessarily say what it is each time, but just like

Be on the lookout. We're going to be watching. And you'll get a DM from us for like obviously consent approval because we're not just going to throw a picture of you up there for thousands of people to see. No. Take it out. So, but yeah. We want to like give back to you guys in a way where it's like

like we're not necessarily money involved you know what i mean like we're still like interacting with each other on social media like if you have a fitness page like we'll freaking tag you on there and like show you off and just also like we we see you yeah and we want you and appreciate you as you supporting us you're not just like oh 22 000 podcast followers you know what i'm saying like no like you're an individual appreciate you as a person yeah exactly very much so

Yeah. That's that. Today, we're going to. It's so fun. Today, we're going to be motivational. Yeah. I'm like,

I'm like, wait, hold on. Before we get motivational or even anything like that, let's talk about the two TikToks we did on the podcast page for a second. Guys, if you guys haven't followed the podcast TikTok, we are going to be posting obviously like educational, motivational TikToks, but we just did the funniest two TikToks on that page. I'm going to look at how well they're doing. It was the trend where like,

pretended to be a baby and I was making her a bubba. But oh my goodness, guys, I almost peed myself because we had to do it like five times. I couldn't keep a straight face. So, you know, you know, when like actors do the thing over their face, we're like, I was doing that. It was working. It was working. It was so funny. I was filming Sam being a freaking bed bug in the bed. And I was like, how is this like work right now? This is actually insane. I know. Like, how do we like,

Like, is this, like, something that we had to do? How is this something someone's, like, interested in looking at? I don't know. Because people are like, I didn't know I needed this, but I needed it. I needed it, too. It was so funny. So, yeah, that's the non-motivational side of us. Go follow us on TikTok. We're kind of funny. Yeah. And now we're going to talk about, like...

Just, you know, when you're feeling stuck, feeling in a plateau, feeling in a rut in just all areas. Yeah. Because I feel like I get DMs like that a lot being like, what do I do about blah, blah, blah, just being like not in it all the time. And this can be applied to legit everything. Yeah. We'll touch on most of it as we can. Yeah. So first things first, I mean, with like working out specific, like when you feel like you've hit a plateau, like you're not getting stronger, like

Or just you're not having fun with it because that happens to me all the time. I'm kind of approaching one right now of not having fun with it, but I'm trying to stay optimistic. But what do you do? Honestly, it depends because if it's like a strength plateau, then that's when I will change up the exercises I'm doing. I even said this to Taylor the other day. I am obviously not going to be in the peak of my bulk anymore, and I know my strength is not going to be like –

it was when I was in the peak of my bulk because I'm going to work my way back down to maintenance and I need to switch up those compound lifts that I've been doing at the beginning of my lift and that I've been prioritizing progressive overload with because my strength is not going to continue to increase when I'm lowering my food so I need to change the compounds that I'm doing at the beginning of my lifts so that way I'm not falling

falling into like a rut or like feeling discouraged by my strength going down so I can't compare it to when I was in the peak of my bulk so I'm going to be changing basically just not my split up but the exercises that I'm going to be doing for the next few weeks right that's a that's such a good idea because I'm probably going to do the same when I do it I'm still trying to eat more but when I get to that point I'll do the same um

If you notice that you're hitting a strength plateau and you aren't in any type of bulking, cutting phase, you're just eating, really narrow in on your diet. If you're like, why can't I lift? Why am I not increasing my lifts? Why...

Any of that, are you eating enough carbs? Are you just eating enough in general? Are you eating enough before your workout? All of those things really narrow in on your diet too. That's, I mean, just like a given, but it's a big one. Yeah. Especially once the newbie gains disappear. Another thing too with that topic that I think is very big with our niche of girls listening is that

they'll come to us and say, I've been in a deficit for six plus months now. And why am I not losing weight? And it's like, okay, that's because you've probably been in a deficit for way too long and that you need to like restore your metabolism and change food. So the food aspect in the deficit aspect with like losing weight is very, very big. We have an entire podcast episode on how to restore your metabolism and reverse diet. I would recommend listening to it. It's the F,

calorie deficits episode learn more on that aspect but that's I think our biggest thing that at least I see in my dms of like I've been in a deficit why am I not losing weight and you've like hit a plateau with the weight loss yeah plateaus with weight loss are huge and that's just either you're either doing way too much I feel like or way too little yes like you know what I'm saying you're either doing way too much and you need to take a break on yourself and take a break from the cardio or

lower that deficit not lower the calories lower the deficit like the yeah like gap of you know what i'm saying yeah get back i can't like explain it because i said lower and i'm like people are eating calories no i mean the gap yeah shorten the gap sleep more like do all those things or maybe you're just not doing enough like you're not tracking good enough

You're not doing enough cardio. I feel like it's both ends are very extreme. Yes. But for a lot of girls, I feel like they're doing too much. Yes. If they feel like they can't lose weight. Exactly. So. Which that's a, that's a good point. Like the weight loss. I mean, I'm in a plateau with my weight gain. Yeah. So freaking frustrating. I have half my dinner on the table cause I can't eat it. Cause I put too many mushrooms in it. Old.

Mushrooms, ew. Hashtag F mushrooms. They're good and then like I just put too many. Yeah, you can only do like a little bit. Or like mix it with like another vegetable. Like when I made my mushrooms with the Brussels sprouts that was really good. Thinking about it's kind of grossing me out so changing subjects. Okay.

But yeah, like with that, I just have to like keep fighting. Honestly, I think taking that little break. I mean, it was good and bad not tracking going home because obviously I didn't make bulk progress, but I'm hungry. Yeah. And I'm putting food in me and I have my appetite back, not for the mushrooms, but for everything else. I really have my appetite back. So that's been really helpful for me to take that little break. And that's something that's

taking a break is good for like everything fitness yeah sometimes if you feel like you're fitting a strength plateau you might just need to freaking rest yeah take a deload week like take not even a rest like two extra days you know what i'm saying take time off because your body might just be hurting yeah and not recovered enough a big thing that i used to struggle with like way in the very beginning of my journey when i was like so like

wanting change, wanting things to happen. Like if I didn't go to the gym, I wouldn't see the change or whatever was not having rest days. Like listen, like me and Taylor both this past month probably went on the most random extreme rest days. Listen to your body. If you need to do two or maybe three days in a row of rest, that's not a bad thing at all. Like maybe even if it's like, I know a lot of girls are like having to quarantine and whatnot, but like

you're gonna be right where you were when you get back like if anything maybe even a little bit better because you probably had to stop going to the gym because you were feeling a little bit fatigued tired whatnot and you get back and game on like you feel better so don't be afraid of rest days yeah that's such a big one i see every unexpected rest day as just rest like my muscles need this you know if you're feeling a slight maybe pain you're like

My shoulder kind of hurts when I bench. My hip kind of hurts when I squat. Take an extra rest day. Total rest day. People ask me that. They're like, on your rest days, are you doing like cardio or like nothing? I'm like, nothing. I used to do like cardio and abs on my rest day. Yeah. And now I'm like, no, I do nothing. Zero. Zero.

No gym, no workout, nothing. And it's really beneficial. And I think it gets you that motivation back. Yeah, it definitely does. You know, when you take those extra rest days, you really miss being in the gym. And if you feel like it's not fun for you... You appreciate it more. Yeah, you appreciate it. You're like, actually...

I need to go for my just mental being when I was on like vacation with my family. I hadn't gone as much as I wanted to and I wasn't going to go my last day there because I didn't want to leave whatever. But I was just kind of like antsy. I don't know. Like and I was like, I'd really like to get in like just a 30 minute lift, do something. I didn't even do that much at all. But I was like, I need to go go do something and maybe just appreciate so much just being in the gym in the way. Just I didn't even have headphones.

And I was still just really, really like vibing with it. And it felt so good to me. And now I feel like I got that appreciation back of how much I like the gym. Yeah. Because I was without it and so off my routine. And I realized that it did affect me just feeling like all over, just not like my best. Yeah. No, that's definitely important. Another rut too that people can definitely go through is just like eating. Like when you're trying to get, move from that, those eating habits of like,

trying to eat healthy and trying to eat vegetables like I get DMs all the time like how do you eat so much vegetables or like Sam does not eat vegetables I know well right now I don't in my book I don't but like I get DMs all the time like how do I eat healthier like how do I like maintain doing that and honestly you can't just expect to like jump right from like

eating like shit to like eating good but even if like you are really not enjoying like the food you are eating change it up like right meal prep yourself or just like have the same meals for like one week and then the next week change up your meals like I go through the process of like really enjoying something that I'm eating for maybe like two weeks and then it changes like I'm never always eating the same foods right and with health and fitness you can't expect there to never be like

ruts or like imperfect days, you know, you're never going to be like, I eat healthy now. So every single day I'm having like all of my servings of veggies. Yeah. It's not going to happen. Yeah. And so it's not, there's nothing to really stress over. Yeah. Like, I mean, if you're, if you're talking, going back into, let's say something like

like disordered eating habits. Yeah. Where you're kind of like relapsing into like bad behaviors. That's something you're going to need to like mentally tackle. But in terms of just wanting to be better, you're not going to be better all the time. Yeah. And that's fine. I think like not being hard on yourself is a big thing because if you're going to be hard on yourself, you're just going to stress yourself out and not want to do it even more because it's a stressful thing to you. I feel like just celebrate the wins. Don't

get so negative on what you didn't do the best, you know? Yeah, no, I like that. What other ruts are there? There are so many freaking ruts. We wanted to talk about, like, life in general, like, career. Yeah. You know, I think being in your early 20s, a lot of people just feel like, what the hell am I doing? Yeah. No, I... That with, like, mental health, too, is, like, a very big thing because you never just feel like you're, like,

Better enough, best enough, like whatever it is, whatever your route is or like the career you want to go down. But like,

I don't know. Do you want to start it off? Yeah. So if you feel like it's long enough, I'm not saying a day, I'm not saying a week, I'm saying months of feeling like this isn't right and I don't know what I'm doing. Get out. Yeah. If you're 20, 21, 22, even any age of your 20s, you're still so young. Do something else. Like, I mean, I know it sounds probably like easier said than done. People are like, OK, I can't just like leave my job. I have like a bit

Bills and things. And I get that. But you can make small changes. Start doing something else. You can start like a little side hustle. Like you can...

make steps to be able to do that because I think sometimes you need to like full-on change everything. I mean, we talk about it all the time. We picked up and moved. Yeah. Like I also love seeing this too all the time on like TikTok. I see like small little like home businesses of like, like even moms, like moms hustling, like no other on the side, like doing a little side business. So like say you have like your job that you're not really like passionate about and you have like this one little thing. It could be anything like making money,

bath soap like I see like yeah remember on that yeah yeah yeah where like that mom's making the bath soap like something like that like whatever you're like thing that you're really passionate about doing on your like free time make that into your side hustle like you really never know where it can take you and like what like literally anything like I don't know what what to use an example but like

I mean, we did it with freaking working out. Yeah. You know what I'm saying? Like we did it. We did that with that. Yeah. Like I was doing like obviously graphic design. Like my parents were literally up my ass about finding a graphic design job, applying on freaking LinkedIn. And my parents would be like, are you applying on LinkedIn? I'm like, yeah, mom, I'm applying on LinkedIn. Yep. Uh huh. Meanwhile, I was not applying on LinkedIn.

And I didn't even tell them for the first month and a half that I was getting my CPT. Right. Because I was embarrassed. I was like, they're going to hate me for this. They're going to think, like, why do that? Like, you're lined up for finding a graphic design job. Like, you don't need that. So, yeah, I guess I would consider that my side hustle at the time was...

getting my CPT and like posting on my Instagram. So whatever works for you, do it because you don't know where it's going to take you. And I thought I was going to, I didn't think social media was going to become a thing, but I was, I had in my head, okay, while I'm in school, I'll try to teach classes at the rec center. One or two a week. I'm not saying you need crazy free time hours. I'm saying one or two hours a week to go.

Teach a workout class. I wanted to like freaking train like moms in my neighborhood. Like small and it sounds stupid. But like try to you can do anything especially with TikTok dude. If you have something you like to make and want to sell.

yeah you can oh my god tiktok make tiktoks about it no seriously like there's no excuse you probably sit on tiktok anyway so you can try i don't like that i don't have time bullshit like if you're not happy with where you at you you someone said that you don't it's not that you don't have the time it's just not a priority for you yeah which is fine but you got to be honest because if you're if you're that unhappy where it's months and months of unhappiness you need to leave like i left school which was a big decision it's not really the

like accepted norm to be like I dropped out when people are like oh like what year are you in or like when I go visit my friends at college like what school do you go to I'm like none I I don't I have a like a friend from home Abby she probably I think she listens to the podcast Abby Hammett if you're listening hi um but she's a prime example of that she posted this on her story the other day that she was doing her last ever in hospital shift

because she wanted to be obviously a nurse or something like that. Sorry if I'm saying anything wrong, but I'm going to try to sum it up. But basically, because there are a lot of girls that are probably nurses listening to this or want to pursue anything like that. But...

she basically said like it was her last shift and she was like i can i'm so excited to be done with this and then someone swiped up on her story and was like why like what's wrong with it like what are you gonna do and she does um online coaching with with this one company i can't remember the company she's with but like she basically was just saying that she's ready to pursue like online coaching 110 rather than pursuing anything with nursing which i think is like so

so cool and so awesome that like she was able to just like jump ship to ship because it's, it takes balls to do that. Yeah. To jump from a job that, you know, you're getting like a substantial, I can't fucking speak where, you know, you're getting an income and you feel comfortable with, because like, even like, I feel like I'm comparing myself again because I was in that situation with like a personal training company I was with where I was making like

good money where I was able to live on my own and do all that stuff. And then I just jumped ship and quit to pursue, you know, the podcast too. Like I left that so I could also pursue the podcast. So it's like, you're never, you should never feel comfortable. Like you should feel uncomfortable in order to get comfortable jumping ship to ship. It's going to feel like that. It's not going to be normal. It's not gonna be comfortable. Um,

Like transitioning. Right. That's like with moving here. Like, yeah, I was making money for myself with like my work, but I could have sat comfortably in my parents' house paying zero rent, not paying for my stuff. I mean, I'm young. Like they would happily kept like I could have kept going to school, whatever, finish and like just stayed comfortable doing that. And it's like, OK, no, I am going to move out at this young age and start paying bills that I've never paid before and start like

you know, from zero to a hundred, go do that on a whim with a girl I met on the internet. You know what I'm saying? And it's never going to feel right. And I think this is a good thing to talk about. Cause I know a lot of you are like in college and,

And it might feel bad being like you don't know what your major is or you're in a major and you hate it or you're getting job offers and you feel like you hate them all. And I know you're not just going to get like everyone and not everyone should get their dream job. Like, yeah, it's not always going to happen. But if you have the opportunity to try for something, you at least have to try. Yeah. You know what I'm saying? If it doesn't work out, it doesn't work out. And you can try to make the best of your situation and find something.

other things that bring you joy or keep doing it for fun it doesn't have to be your job to keep doing it about it exactly because like if you're passionate about it you're passionate about that dream job that you potentially want go for it and then if you don't get it and then you're stuck with some maybe job that you're not like super happy and content with that's when you can maybe consider doing something different um i was gonna say something else but now i honestly forget but

But okay, while you think. Like, let's say you want to sell your freaking handmade soaps. And you're just like, I wish I could leave my job and sell soap. But you've never advertised it on Instagram. You've never made a TikTok about your soap. Didn't make a website. Then you didn't do anything. If you want to do fitness. I freaking worked front desk at a studio. You know what I'm saying? I got my CPD to teach a class. Like, are you doing your CPT on the side? Have you gone...

To interview at like an Orange Theory. You know what I'm saying? Like have you tried at all? Do you have a fitness page? Yeah. Because then you can't complain. I know. You can't complain. It like gets me frustrated because I want everyone to like put themselves out there to do what they want to do in terms of work. That's why like I get so freaking irritated with like

The basics of like a nine to five and like the government making us feel like when we go through college, like in college, all our professors are talking about is like a nine to five, finding that job, applying for the job, making portfolios and all that stuff. It's like it kind of brainwashes us to think that like that's our only option and our only opportunity. And it's not like if you are passionate about something and you are passionate

hard working and want to you know have that big dream that big thing that you really want to work for it's possible like it could be for anything literally anything like say like you got your I don't know what's a random degree some random degree I don't even a business degree yeah whatever sure business degree and you're long till well I guess this kind of goes with a business degree but like you want to open up like your own like spin studio or like you want to open up your own

I don't know, tanning salon. I don't know. I'm just thinking. Anything. Anything. A bakery. I don't freaking know. You necessarily don't need a degree to like do a lot of things out there. I think the misconception is a lot of people are like, well, how the heck would you start doing that? There's no way they could be successful because they're like a quote unquote nobody. And my biggest advice for that would be immerse yourself in content of people that have like

What you like or want to be. I highly recommend the Skinny Confidential Him and Her podcast. Their whole podcast is basically talking to entrepreneurs and people that have just made this whole life for themselves of what they're passionate about out of nothing. And I love that podcast because you hear people, it's, they all have different stories, but it's all

Some people went from like, I was like homeless and then in jail and now they own a multimillion dollar business. Like some people, you know, quit a job and it would like, there's so many different people on that, that podcast. So I highly recommend listening to that. And there's definitely other ones like it. That's just the one I listened to, but hearing people's stories, because I think it can be easy to be like, there's no fricking way my soap is gonna make money. Yeah. Says who? Yeah. Says who? Literally says who? Fuck.

Fuck that. It could make a lot. You can go to like farmer's market, set up a little table. You know what I'm saying? There's so many things you could do. Literally so many things. So I think you need to like put yourself out there and try and realize there are so many different options to do things and you don't need to be stuck in what you think people want you to do. Yeah. And another thing too is like,

I know a lot of seniors right now are going into their last semester and are probably like super stressed with like applying for jobs and all that stuff feeling like they maybe have to move out and all that. But just remember, yes, finish up this last semester, go for it, get that damn degree and pursue whatever you want to pursue that has nothing to do with your degree. But always remember you have that degree if it doesn't work out. Like you can take that gap between like getting that degree this semester and

And take like two years on your own to just like pursue what you're really passionate about. If it doesn't work out, you have that degree. Right. I'm a prime example. I constantly see myself as like behind or not doing enough just because even if I reach a certain goal, there's always someone doing better than you. So I constantly think I'm like behind. But then when I talk about it with my parents, I realize I'm only 21 years old. If everything I'm doing right now totally tanked, I lost all my money, let's say. Knock on wood. Yeah.

I have literally time to find something else and like rebuild my life by the time I'm 30. You know, like if you just graduating college, you have so, you don't need to be so stressed that you don't know what's going on or it's uncertain. You have so much time. You're going to figure it out. It's funny. Like thinking about this now, because my goal for myself when I graduated, obviously COVID happened. So I couldn't do this, but I wanted to take a year off and just travel.

Like that's another thing too, guys. Like if you guys are in a rut with your degree, don't really think you're super passionate about it. Travel like literally travel. That will open up your eyes to so much more in this world. And it helps a lot. I promise. So yeah, another big thing you can do. That's definitely your thing, but just, and even getting out of your, just even if you're not traveling something crazy, like,

You can just go to a different state. You can like go to a different city. You don't have to go like around the world. Like, cause people are probably like, yeah, no, I can't really fly to like, I'm like, take a road trip. I don't know. Rent an RV. I've always wanted to freaking do that. Oh, that'd be so fun. Rent an RV and drive across the country. Yeah, literally. But I think just moral of the story with life is that,

You can literally try to do whatever you want. And if it doesn't work out, it doesn't work out. But you have to try before you complain. Yeah. Because I like if I sat there forever being like these girls that do fitness stuff on Instagram are so cool. I wish I could do that. And I never posted anything like what? Like, what am I doing? Just sitting there like just being sad for nothing. I know. Like, are you going to like look back and be like,

Like, damn, I tried. Like, I tried. Or I didn't try. Like, I think it will be worse looking back saying, like, I didn't even try. Like, at least you put in the effort. Maybe it just didn't work out. That's totally fine. You can fall back on something else. But, like, you didn't try. So there's no excuse for that. Also, if you want to work a 9-to-5, like –

cool. If you're not happy with it, look at, look for different companies, like literally network, talk to new people. Like you don't need to just stay put like you, there's options for everybody. Biggest thing with like when I was applying for jobs, I told myself I did not want to do graphic design. That was not inside of the sports realm. Like if it had nothing to do with a sport, even if it was just like, um, ping pong. No,

No, like, literally, I'm not even kidding, like, anything. Even if it was, like, Puma, like, clothing attire or, like, legit physically, like, the Boston Bruins. Like, whatever it was in that realm, I wanted it. So, like, when I was looking for jobs and nothing in the sports realm was available or, like, there was no openings or anything, I just felt so defeated over the fact that I was, like, applying for, like, a fucking toothpaste company or, like, a, I don't know, something random that I've never heard of before. Like...

That like I'm not passionate about. Like the work that I'm doing is like I'm not passionate for that. So I can definitely get that. It's so stressful. It's so hard. Especially going out of like senior year. And like you literally don't even know. But yeah.

Another thing, too, is also like internships that helps so much trying to figure out or like shadowing, helping to figure out what you are truly passionate about. If you're in like that, like career rut and you don't know what you want to do is internships helped a lot. I worked at my school for the athletics, but I also worked at Boston College football and it helped.

showed right away like how much I really liked being in the sport industry so yeah that's a whole another battle is like people might be like but that thing that side hustle I have no idea what that would even be like they're not they're like I don't even know what how I found it honestly when you're like in a dark time in that moment take note of what

Yeah. What's your escape? Because that's probably like your thing. Yeah. Like, do you draw? Do you read? Do you journal? And you might be like, I journal. So what? How would I do that? Make a journal. Yeah. I was going to say, you know what I'm saying? You can make a journal. You can make journal prompts and sell them on Etsy. Like you can do it. Like give me, give me a passion and I will tell you in my DMs a way that you can sell it online. Like if you're passionate about playing the guitar. Yeah. The guitar picks. Yeah.

the like I don't know literally customizing like like if you're if you like to paint or whatever or like you like to design things like you can make tutorials on YouTube on how to play the guitar yes there we go oh my god and then all of a sudden you're like a piano instructor literally piano you can go teach you can go teach guitar at like

something like for kids where they do music you know what i'm saying there's so many there's so many things it's crazy again literally dm us your side so we'll tell you we'll tell you how to monetize we'll give you a few options yeah but so that's like life and then um so there's so many things there's like workout ruts life ruts and then there's just like your day yeah when you wake up and it's just that one day and you're like you just don't want to get up

Happens quite a bit. Been there. You mean every day? You mean every day? No, but there's ways to fix that. And I'm very passionate about ways to fix that. First things first, I do want to give a little disclaimer though. Sometimes my way to get through a bad day is to sit in it and have a bad day and accept the fact that I'm having a bad day and know that tomorrow it'll be better. Sometimes I don't do things to make it better. I just...

Except the fact that I feel like trash and I'll be like tomorrow's a new day. But for today, we're going to be sad. Yeah. And that's fine. Especially with like mental health too. Like it's so hard. Like if you, like there are times when I'm like just like mentally not there where like if I go to the gym thinking it's going to help and it sometimes doesn't help. Nope. It makes it worse sometimes. Yeah. So,

If you really like if you think it's just like maybe one of like like Taylor said, just like a one day thing, just lay in bed all day. It's not going to it's not going to be an issue. But like if it's happening like every day for like a week now, whatever. Yeah, it's good to have like a routine or just something that, you know, will help you get out of that rut.

My first thing is going to be making sure you do a bunch of skincare and take that shower. Hair, shave, the whole thing. That is my cure. Yeah. That almost will immediately help. Yeah. Put on a podcast and just do everything clean. I agree. I like that a lot. I love a shower. Like, I just love taking, like, a... You guys are gonna, like, visualize me in the shower. But I just like taking, like, my nice loofah and just... Yeah. Yeah.

filling it up with soap and just scrubbing. Yeah, literally. It's the, no, like it's, it's like truly the best. Then you like get out, you put on like lotion. Yeah. You do all your skincare, let a candle. Oh my God. I want to go to like shower again.

Oh, a big thing that we also do that I've noticed when me and Taylor are both mentally unstable is clean like a motherfucker in this entire apartment. Because, okay, I cannot be in a good mood when it's a mess. Yeah. Uh-uh. Anxiety through the roof. Can't do it. And not necessarily my room, but kitchen and living space.

because I'm not like in my room all day I don't sit in my room all day I'm not that's just never been something I do I'd rather sit on the couch sit out here whatever I need the kitchen to be clean I need like if I was like in a bad mood and like the pan it's like still on the stove from when I cooked oh my god anxiety yeah it just needs to be clean well I mean you were just like super mentally unstable last month where we were literally scrubbing like

Things that I've never scrubbed before. No, we clean the fridge. We clean everything. We clean the outside of the dishwasher. That's why we got furniture. Yeah, I know. And we remodeled. Yeah, no, it's actually kind of sad. If you come into our apartment and it's sparkling, you should be like, are you okay? Are you okay? What's wrong? Do you need to talk? Because... We'll just both instantly start bawling our eyes out. Okay.

And, but, and that, but clean and like romanticize it, like play music. Yeah. Like have a, have a time. Yeah. Do that whole thing. That makes it way more fun. So you need to be clean and your apartment needs to be clean. Yeah. And if that, if that still doesn't help, which it probably should, but if it doesn't, um, get off your goddamn phone. Yep. That's true.

That's another thing that helps with the cleaning aspect. That's another thing that helps with the cleaning aspect is you're not on your phone and you're cleaning for like two hours. So get off your phone. Get off your watch. Take your Apple Watch off. The other day, not the other day, when I was home, so it was like weeks ago, but I was cleaning and I didn't have my Apple Watch on and I left my phone. And the thing is with your Apple Watch, if someone's calling, if someone's texting, you can go get your phone because you're getting the notifications.

I didn't answer David for like ever because I'm so used to wearing it that I'm like if he was texting me I'd see it yeah but I forgot I didn't have it on I forgot I didn't have it on so I like and I was like oh shoot like my phone has been like away for like hours and it felt really nice but throughout the whole day get off your phone delete TikTok delete it these people have that issue though they definitely do people people

it's not necessarily the hate comments scrolling endlessly is not good okay one thing I also really don't like about TikTok too even if I wasn't a creator and I was just like say I had a burner account and I was scrolling on that if you type if you went on to someone's viral video there is always hate that's what I'm saying for the stupidest thing that's what it is it's not even like like when you read that to yourself when you read that it just like

Makes you I don't know. It feels so weird. I'm just like It's just people being mean right you wouldn't sit in a room with people being mean I know like imagine you walked into a room and everyone's like you're fat. You're ugly What was the thing you said a while back? I would kick you out of my house You're blocked because if you did it to me in real life, I'd kick you out of my house And you're never coming back get out of my house. I can picture you like stomping your foot and opening the door Get out of my house

no but literally like imagine walking into a room and everyone was looking at each other calling each other like ugly you'd be like what the fuck it's so crazy because like people leave like hate i'm like would you ever say that to like your face no you probably wouldn't no exactly and just the endless scrolling just isn't good for your mental health even if it's good things scrolling's just not fun so yeah delete tiktok so you can get out of that that literally just makes me anxious when i'm sad

Definitely makes me anxious. I hate it. Super random, but also helped me with my mental health a lot. Randomly, I just barked and my mental health is a little bit better. But this past maybe three months, my mental health has probably been the worst it's ever been. And I changed my phone number.

And I feel like a new freaking person with that damn phone number. Hell yeah. No, no one has my phone. I would say maybe like 10 people have my phone number now and it feels so good. Like, do you know that TikTok audio? That's like, can you reach me? No. Oh, I should do that. Yeah, no. So like if you're in like a mental state where you just need a refresher and like,

You just want to completely remove certain people from your life. Like you are totally capable of that. Change that phone number, my friend. Change. It will go like, it sounds silly, but like I promise you, it worked wonders for me. I was so giggly when I left AT&T. I was like, ha ha, like yay. New woman. Literally, I was like, I feel so cool. Change has been like a reoccurring theme in this podcast. Yeah, it really has. Because I was going to say, if it's been a week long thing and you're just like, your days are just not good.

and you are able book those appointments like I said we did this week get your hair done yeah when was the last time you got your hair done I can guarantee a lot of you listening right now are probably gonna stay like six months you know what I'm saying get your hair done nothing crazy maybe do your nails if they're not looking the best whatever your things are that you like to go do book an appointment one forces you out of the house unless you're just okay with missing it but sometimes there's like fees and stuff so don't miss it

and then forces you out of the house you'll look so pretty you get to talk with like your hairstylist because if you're sitting alone in your room yeah oh my god that's not there is nothing better than talking to either a hairstylist or morgan shout out morgan yeah or like our lash tech or like anyone that like you have to sit with them for like an hour plus and it's like a it's like a thing reoccurring thing where you're constantly seeing them i just love it because like they're in your life but they're really not in your life so you can just like vent to them about anything

Exactly. And it just forces you out of the house, forces you to have human interaction. I guarantee hairstylists and like anyone that like is in that industry listening to this right now is like, yeah, like we love when you come talk to us. Like we love the drama. Speaking of services, if any of you live in Austin and know a good nail tech or you're a good nail tech, like freelance,

nail artist get in my dms yeah putting that out there nice little small business gal trying to hustle on her own let me know we want you yeah put that in my dms i meant to say that like some like on social media so i'm saying it now hopefully you guys are here still because i honestly love like

the support we get from them in terms of like recommendations like oh yeah when I was home I put on my story oh my god I need to spray tan so badly but I meant to say like when I get back to Austin but then I got two girls instantly within like 20 minutes DM me on Instagram saying oh my god like here I recommend this person but I was like I'm not gonna get it while I'm in Boston but I was like damn you were so quick on that like recommendation like I love that thank you because I'm counting on you guys for the nail art I could just like go anywhere I could go to freaking like

Michigan and be like hey guys does anyone know of like a good like restaurant and oh my god the amount of restaurant recs we would get crazy we appreciate you guys love you guys hope you send that nail artist in my dms but um so yeah doing things like that working out is an obvious one duh but sometimes it doesn't help but try to go try to go and if it's not a good workout it's okay don't try to like

Beat yourself up. Yeah, like if everything feels heavy intentionally grab light stuff so that it's easy I just think my biggest thing with that though is like if i'm having a bad day and then I get to the gym And then my workout's not going good. It will make it worse So I have no problem leaving like early like two things or just doing like a 30 minute workout like right I went Last week. I had like a back and by workout. It was so freaking cold outside. Taylor wasn't here. I was by myself and

I just, like, when it's cold, like, obviously your grip is so bad. So, like, everything was just gripping. I was like, this is the worst workout ever. I feel so weak. Like, I can't do anything. And I did, like, four exercises for a back day. That's not really a lot for me. And I just left. And I was like, okay, this was a good workout. But, like, I'm not going to force myself to be here for, like, an hour like I usually am just to hate it. So...

It doesn't always have to be the exact workout you planned or wanted to happen. Exactly. Good point. Another thing that I like to do while you're driving to the gym or to appointments or wherever, really listen to songs you really like and sing them. Songs you like to sing. For me, it's Phineas. Phineas is my comfort person. When I'm literally in like depresso mode...

It's like so freaking cheesy to be like, he like saves me. The music literally saves me and I'm not even kidding. It makes me so happy. And it's sad music, but just I love the music so much that singing it really loud in my car is just therapy. I love it. I'll play the same songs on repeat. Don't care. That's a big one for me recently. I really sing when I drive alone. It's a concert. Yeah.

I need my windows tinted because people definitely see me. I'm like drumming on the steering wheel. Like for example, at the gym today, the main reason I want my windows tinted is because I don't want anyone to see what I'm doing in my car because sometimes I'll be parked in the parking lot forever and I'm like filming myself. When Daniel at the gym like turned, saw me vlogging and just like waved. I was like, no, I'm embarrassed.

I was freaking vlogging outside of like Fuck Mascara outside the Garlash place. And there's construction right across the street. I was parked facing the construction. And there was a construction worker standing right there just staring at me. I'm vlogging myself. And I was like, I literally said in the vlog, I literally go, there's a man staring at me. I was like, oh no. But that's something I really like to do. And then that's pretty much like what gets me.

very tangible things that you can do. But I think it's just also good to know it's okay to be sad for a day. Yeah. Watch a TV show you like. Like we have those days too. Yeah. Sometimes I'm just like, what's going to happen today is I'm watching like the Hype House on Netflix in bed all day. Yeah. I started watching that.

I couldn't get really, like, focused on it. I kept, like, being sidetracked, like, going on my phone. The only reason I was focused on it is because I watched it on a plane where I had no other thing to do but watch it. I just don't have anything to watch right now, to be honest. Yeah, me neither. I think I'm going to save the Hype House for my flight. Download it. What are you going to watch, like, one episode? How long is our flight? To LA? Is it, like, an hour and 45 minutes, or is it longer than that? I think it's two something. Oh. Yeah. That's, like, a good amount of episodes. They're only 30-minute episodes. Oh, my gosh.

All right, well, I guess that was pretty much covered on every aspect, was it? Yeah. I mean, I think that that was really usable information, if I do say so myself. I feel like I just gave a TED Talk. Yeah. I feel like I just yelled at you guys a little bit to start your... And this is perfect timing going into the new year, because everyone always thinks that the new year, new year, new me, things need to happen, change needs to happen. I need to get out of this rut, so hopefully we can give you some little pepping step with figuring those things out for you. Especially on social media, where it probably seems like everyone is like,

doing such amazing things and you're probably like well it's it's january why do i still feel like shit yeah like even now it's like i'm posting like like get back on routine and it like even though like my life isn't perfect i see how you could like watch those things of people being like new year routines and feel like okay well i'm not doing enough yeah so you can do and find your little own things that'll get you to being

Happy and content with your life. Agreed. Yay. Hope that made you... Start your soap side hustle. Yeah, start making that soap. Hit us up if you got that soap. I'm gonna, like, literally shit my pants if someone, like...

Literally is into soap. No, like, dead ass. I can picture it happening. We're very into fun bars of soap at the moment. Oh, yeah. Send us some of your soap because we will post. Speaking of that, I literally bought soap at Whole Foods the other day because it smelled so good. That was such, like, a nice thing of you. Really? Yeah, like, that was so sweet. Like, thinking about it. I bought myself one and I was like, maybe show-off one. Like, that was just so, like, thoughtful. Like, she was like, I got you a soap. And I was like, aw. I was like, you smell like shit. Yeah.

You needed it. When you put it like that. But I was like, how awesome of you. You got me a soap? Yeah. I appreciate it. Yeah, no soapy boy. Have a soap fetish now. We want soap PR.

I was just scrubbing on my feet. It is funny though, because I am on the TikTok of people. Me too. I love it when they like, when they cut it in half. Oh my God. It's so satisfying. Cause then they'll be like, what, what shape do you think it is? Cause you can't see from the outside, but then when they cut in the middle, you can see like the, like the rainbow design or whatever design they made. And you can see it. It's like, wow. Like, how did you do that? Yeah.

One thing I used to be obsessed with was making bracelets like out of like string and stuff like that. Were you ever in that stage? Yeah, but not like crazy in it. But I definitely did do it. When I was like younger, I'd bring them to like school and I'd sell them for like $2, $3. I'd be like, here's the lineup. What? An entrepreneur. I know, seriously. I was like eight years old bringing my bracelets to school. Like, who wants one? Come on. Highest bidder. Let's go. Give me $2. Highest bidder. $2.50? $75? Oh, winner. Okay.

I used to be obsessed. I still have all of my kits back at my home. Did you make like duct tape wallets? No. That might be like after your time. No, I do remember that though.

You were probably like in high school. I did have a lot of colorful duct tape. Like I had pink, yellow, but I didn't use it for that. I didn't really have a lot. I had a duct tape like wallet thing, but I think someone made it for me. I had a zebra duct tape I was obsessed with. I think mine might have been zebra. Yeah. I would duct tape everything. I'd see like a water bottle and be like, I'm duct taping that. Or gimp. What the fuck is gimp? It's like the plastic string. I don't know what it is. Am I not patrolling things?

Like stuff that you make like a lanyard where you like make the little... No! I don't even know how to spell it. Because I'm thinking of GIMP. No, are you like speaking to Siri on the podcast? I am. This is the best part of the episode. It won't say GIMP. How do you do GIMP? What is that? It's like a man in a morph suit. Wait, is it actually called GIMP? Now I'm nervous it's not actually called GIMP.

I'm dead. Gimp. Gimp. Gimp. Gimp. Gimp. Gimp. Gimp. Gimp. Gimp. Gimp. Gimp. Gimp. Gimp. Gimp. Gimp. Gimp. Gimp. Gimp. Gimp. Gimp. Gimp. Gimp. Gimp. Gimp. Gimp. Gimp. Gimp. Gimp. Gimp. Gimp. Gimp. Gimp. Gimp. Gimp. Gimp. Gimp. Gimp. Gimp. Gimp. Gimp. Gimp. Gimp. Gimp. Gimp. Gimp. Gimp. Gimp. Gimp. Gimp. Gimp. Gimp. Gimp. Gimp. Gimp. Gimp. Gimp. Gimp. Gimp. Gimp. Gimp. Gimp. Gimp. Gimp. Gimp. Gimp. Gimp. Gimp. Gimp. Gimp. Gimp. Gimp. Gimp. Gimp. Gimp. Gimp. Gimp. Gimp. Gimp. Gimp. Gimp. Gimp. Gimp. Gimp. Gimp. Gimp. Gimp. Gimp. Gimp. Gimp. Gimp. Gimp. Gimp. Gimp. Gimp. Gimp. Gimp. Gimp. Gimp. Gimp. Gimp. Gimp. Gimp. Gimp. Gimp. Gimp. Gimp. Gimp. Gimp. Gimp. Gimp. Gimp. Gimp. Gimp. Gimp. Gimp. Gimp. Gimp. Gimp. Gimp. Gimp. Gimp. Gimp. Gimp. Gimp. Gimp. Gimp. Gimp. Gimp. Gimp. Gimp. Gimp. Gimp. Gimp. Gimp. Gimp. Gimp. Gimp. Gimp. Gimp. Gimp. Gimp. Gimp. Gimp. Gimp. Gimp. Gimp. Gimp. Gimp.

Such a weird name. One day I woke up and I'm like, I'm naming this string Gimp. Yeah, I've seen this string and stuff, but I didn't know it was called that. So you were in that error of time? Yeah. You weren't? I was. Oh. I was going to say, damn, I feel really fucking old. Yeah.

And I, oh my God, my closet, sorry, we're going to be ranting. Like, are we running past time? No. I just like, I like making people laugh. So they're going to find this funny. But like, I used to have. You're going to laugh and you're going to like it. And if you don't laugh, then I'm like, fuck, I'm a loser. But like, I used to be obsessed with like those little fake like bar, like Bratz dolls, like the little ones. Did you ever like the little ones?

I wasn't a Bratz doll girl. Yeah, but like I had like the mini versions to them and you could like change their outfits and stuff and like I had this big like house for them and I would go into my closet. It's like a walk-in closet and I would hide in my walk-in closet and my parents would be like, where did Sam go? Like, where is she? They'd go in my room. I wouldn't be in my room. I'd be in my closet. And let's keep in mind, my closet's probably the size of that thing. Not that big. Yeah.

And I would sit down in the closet and play with my Bratz dolls. You're such a weirdo. I was really weird. And then I would ripstick to my neighbor's house. And we'd play in her closet with her Bratz dolls. You would ripstick? Dad! I'm not kidding, I would ripstick. I used to ripstick. I would ripstick to her house and make it go to her closet. Not even the big bedroom, the closet. I'm just picturing you like...

are you and you're like i gotta get out of here no you know you want to know something's really embarrassing though yeah it's still like this my zebra duct tape it's still in your room my doorknobs in my bedroom my closet doorknobs have zebra duct tape all over sam is crying i can't take the duct tape off like i tried the duct tape is stuck i need picture proof so um sam's parents

My door knobs literally have zebra duct tape all over them. That's so funny. I tried taking it off. She's crying. She's so sad about the duct tape. Because I think it's been like 10 years. You bring a guy over and they're like, what? What is that? It's like two door knobs too. Like right now, because they're big. It's like, it's out there. Like can't get into my closet without touching the zebra duct tape. Dang, that's so funny. Yeah. I can talk about me as a little kid for the longest time.

You could do an episode like that. You could do it with your mom. Yeah, I know. Yeah, that'd be funny. That would be funny. We could do parents episodes. Yeah, I don't think my mom would talk though, I feel. She'd get very like... I don't know if my parents would talk a lot.

I feel like if we were all at one table, that would be so hard. That'd be a lot. Our dads would be going back and forth. Oh my god. Did you watch that game the other day? What the fuck are they talking about? Talking about something from the news. Oh my god. Literally. I'm dead. That's so funny. I would try to force my mom to be on it. My mom might be on it because it's not a video. Yeah. I feel like videos are like... And it's not live.

So if either of our parents were to mess up, it's not a problem. Well, they can edit it. I'm not editing it. Or you fix it. Yeah. Damn. Okay, well. All right. After that mess of a conversation. All you gimp stars and you string and soap stars, go for it. Start that side hustle. Yeah. And yeah, I don't even know what I was going to say. I forgot what we even talked about because we got so into fucking bracelets. But I hope you guys remember. Impressibles. Because I don't.

Thank you guys for listening. I had a lot of fun. Yeah, we love you guys. Being back in person. The vibes are so much better. I know. So much better. Okay, well, see you next Friday. Buggers. See you on Friday.
