Okay, everybody, we are live at the RNC in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Day two is coming to a wrap. Wow. There we go. You guys ready for some hot takes? There you go. That is something else. Okay, all right. All right, we have Blake Nepier, Jack Posobiec, Tyler Boyer. We are recapping what was a very, very eventful day two. We had Dr. Ben Carson, Vivek Ramaswamy. Your instant reaction, Blake, what did you see?

Charlie, it was a big night. This is really what showed off the unity of the Republican Party now, now that Donald Trump has won the nomination again. We saw Ron DeSantis speak. We saw Nikki Haley speak. She was even ready for the handful of people who were not happy. She was like...

Donald Trump invited me to be here. I'm really happy to be here. And I think it was received quite well, actually. I thought the action of having DeSantis and Nikki, Nikki and DeSantis back to back was awesome. Don't you agree, Tyler? It was a contrast. The Democrat Party has never been more divided. Our party has never been more united. Yeah, 100 percent. And look, I mean, Ron DeSantis will remember Ron DeSantis did the right thing. So he came out right almost immediately.

immediately came right away and said, I'm behind Donald Trump, did the right thing. His team was all there. I've seen many members of his internal team around, which is great too, seeing that super supportive, ultra MAGA, we're all in. But the Nikki bandaid, I mean, you cannot focus on this enough.

A lot of people were expecting, like, a big kind of Nikki Haley upheaval here this week. And, like, people were trying to agitate it from the media. And that didn't happen. And the Trump team did a really good job of making sure that didn't happen. This was the most low-key Nikki Haley entrance that you possibly could get. She's...

And she's now exiting, and there is a lot of unity. Let's play some—I thought her speech was excellent and was very classy and impactful. Let's play cut 119. This is about foreign policy, Jack. Nikki Haley, foreign policy, and Trump don't always agree. Let's play cut 119. As ambassador to the United Nations, I had a front-row seat to his national security policies. We sure could use those again. When Barack Obama was president, Vladimir Putin invaded Crimea.

With Joe Biden as president, Putin invaded all of Ukraine. But when Donald Trump was president, Putin did nothing. No invasions, no wars. That was no accident.

Putin didn't attack Ukraine because he knew Donald Trump was tough. A strong president doesn't start wars. A strong president prevents wars. I thought that was excellent from Nikki Haley. Your reaction, Blake? Well, I think what's really good about it was it wasn't like a Stepford wife speech where she just pretends there was no conflict between them. She came out and said...

I'm speaking for people who don't agree with Trump 100%. There's a lot of them. I'm going to make a case to those people. And so it was very strong, acknowledging there are differences. But Donald Trump is clearly the better choice for all those Republicans out there who did consider a different nominee this cycle. Way better than Biden. Way better than Harris. I want to play another tape here of Nikki Haley. Donald Trump has my strong endorsement, period. Play cut 117.

President Trump asked me to speak to this convention in the name of unity. It was a gracious invitation and I was happy to accept. I'll start by making one thing perfectly clear. Donald Trump has my strong endorsement, period. Jack, you want to take that first? Look, you know, we've seen, I'll put it this way.

There's a lot of people here, Charlie, that I've seen walking around this convention. There's a lot of people and a lot of receipts that I have saved and screenshots and tweets and all of those things. And they're in the Postal Archive. We know where they all are. And it's very interesting to say to see who's walking around.

upright, who's walking around with a little spring in their step and who's kind of dragging their feet a little bit, who's a little downtrodden, head held a little bit lower than usual. And so here we see Nikki Haley, and then of course we also saw Ron DeSantis, two of his most fierce primary opponents endorsing him in the same night. And it is a testament to the fact that

that Donald Trump has the party on his side, that his wing of the party is ascendant. And I got to show, let's get this on camera, guys, because I've got right here the very first Trump-Vance 2024 sign. Let's go!

By the way, Charlie, I talked to one of the merch tables earlier, the official RNC. The Trump vans pins, they can't keep them in stock. They can't print them fast enough. That's how excited people are for this wing, the populist wing, the America first wing of the party. Let's go. Completely ascendant. And sorry, Tyler, you want to chime in? I just want to say this, too.

It is a great day when you have the neocon wing of the Republican Party coming to our side, right? So everybody, there should be no one upset about the outcome of today. You should say this is,

Donald Trump has done something no one else has been able to do, and that's get the neocons to completely back him. So let's go to the next unity speech. Governor Ron DeSantis, who I thought was terrific tonight as well. I thought he was funny and he was warm and he was engaging and magnanimous. Let's go to cut 118. Donald Trump has been demonized. He's been sued. He's been prosecuted and nearly lost his life. Play cut 118. Now Donald Trump stands in their way and he stands up for America.

Donald Trump has been demonized. He's been sued. He's been prosecuted and he nearly lost his life. We cannot let him down and we cannot let America down. So and you had a thought here, Blake or Jack, because it's interesting in 2016, the contrast Ted Cruz also spoke tonight to give a great speech.

In 2016, Ted Cruz went up on stage in Cleveland. I was there too. I was in the room. And he did this, the weirdest convention speech ever. I was hoping he'd call back to it. He'd say, you know, vote your conscience, which is voting Trump. People were at it. He should have made a joke. They called it lampshading in like writing. So he should have lampshaded it and just made it a joke.

vote your conscience for Trump. I've listened to my conscience here. I've been pondering my conscience. That wasn't the goal, though. At the time, that wasn't the goal. There were so many people that were on our side that were telling people to not do that. That's the contrast between then and now. We have a completely unified, fully Trump

You need that. That's crazy. We finally found a regime change that the neocons had to go along with. Yeah, it took eight years. I thought the winners of the night were Vivek Ramaswamy and Dr. Ben Carson. Rubio was great. But I want to emphasize some of the everyday American stories. I was on the floor doing media. Jack, you've got to come with me tomorrow. It's so much fun kind of going to the floor and doing media and stuff. And this is a woman who lost her son to a fentanyl overdose. The entire room went silent.

She was terrific. She was engaging. She was warm. And she was morally clear about how Joe Biden is responsible for her son's death. Play cut 124. My family and I were living in Southern California when President Biden took office and opened our borders. My Weston was 15. And in a moment of peer pressure, he tried something that someone gave to him. And it took my baby's life.

We did everything right. I had those conversations with him and fentanyl still found my son. And on February 27, 2022, our lives were shattered and our baby was gone. This was not an overdose. It was a poisoning. His whole future, everything we ever wanted for him was ripped away in an instant.

And Joe Biden does nothing. I hold Joe Biden, Kamala Harris, the borders are. What a joke. And Gavin Newsom and every Democrat who supports open borders responsible for the death of my son. Charlie, I wish that in the room they would have had.

The cameras turned on the crowd. They didn't show that. You couldn't see this on TV, but I was on the floor. You were on the floor. You saw this. You turned around. Everyone was crying. Every person listening to every word that was coming out of her mouth was in tears. And I know there were so many people at home that were in tears, but the room shifted. So like you said, it was like, it's been kind of a political day. That was a very non-political, very real moment. I want to play cut 125 here.

Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders, who was terrific tonight. I mean, you really had some all-stars tonight. And they were young and they were diverse. And these are people that are capable. You had Ben Carson. You had Vivek. You had Marco. You had Sarah Huckabee Sanders. I mean, you're looking at that as a first-time viewer of an RNC. I want to say, I thought tonight, from a story and production standpoint, was better than last night. And I would say...

I say that as somebody who spoke last night. It was actually admitting that. I'm not saying I did poorly. I'm just saying like. No, but you anchored the youth. Tonight was a young night. It was super. Well, yeah, you started the trend. I started the trend. There you go. I'll give you that one. Sarah Huckabee Sanders was excellent. This was one of the. Wasn't she great, guys? She was really great. Yeah, she was great. Sarah Huckabee.

Sanders don't we love her folks I'll tell you Sarah Huckabee Sanders here and cut 125 in one of the mic drop moments and you can tell that the Trump team was de-emphasizing the assassination until the last couple of speakers because they didn't want everyone to mention it but they made it they wanted to make sure that it was an element or else you'd have 120 people saying the same thing and they definitely gave the green light to Sarah Huckabee Sanders she was one of his

fiercest advocates in the trenches. Let's play cut 125. Not even an assassin's bullet could stop him. God almighty intervened because America is one nation under God and he is certainly not finished with President Trump. Very powerful. Anyone have a reaction to that? Just a big moment, you know, and that's something where

You mentioned a second ago that Sarah Huckabee Sanders wasn't just someone who, you know, wrote off of her family's legacy and went into politics, which she could have done. She easily could have done that. She was in the trenches. She took the most thankless job. She took a job that was completely thankless.

I was there, by the way, at the White House Correspondents' dinner with her the night where she was just personally harassed, excoriated, mocked to her face for her physical appearance. And it was just mean. It was nasty. She was one of the first to get kicked out of a restaurant just because she worked for the Trump administration. She talked about it tonight. And I thought that was a really important point when she was talking. That was moving.

You saw in her face the emotion. And you could see the emotional journey that she was on, that President Trump was on, the fact that it was – I mean, for lack of a better phrase, Sarah Huckabee Sanders is ride or die. She's ride or die. Well, and Charlie remembers this with a lot of our staff. We were deeply concerned about people going to D.C. and getting hurt all the time.

You would walk out of the Trump Hotel. Oh, yeah. You would walk out of restaurants, and they would target you. So they would send in units, like Soros-funded units, that would literally mock and harass you at minimum. If not tell you they're going to physically assault you. They did this to Rand Paul. Yeah. Well, they did this all the time. But famously to Rand Paul. Yeah. And now they're very upset that someone actually took them at their word and tried to kill Donald Trump.

Let's continue here. Again, this was an all-star lineup of the youth of the Republican Party and the unification of the Republican Party. Ratings are showing that Vivek Ramaswamy gave one of the best speeches of the evening. Do you guys agree that Vivek gave one of the best speeches? Do you guys agree? I thought it was great. We love Vivek. Let's go to cut 111. We are in the midst of a national identity crisis right now. Play cut 111.

We're in the middle of a national identity crisis right now. Faith, patriotism, hard work, and family have disappeared, only to be replaced by race, gender, sexuality, and climate. But we're not going to win this election just by criticizing the other side. We're going to win this by standing for our own vision of who we really are. What does it mean to be a Republican in the year 2024?

What does it mean to be an American in the year 2024? It means we believe in the ideals of 1776. It means we believe in merit, that you get ahead in this country, not on the color of your skin, but on the content of your character and your contributions.

These are not black ideas or white ideas. They are not even Democrat ideas or Republican ideas. They are American ideas that we fought a revolution to secure. And the man who will revive these ideals in the United States of America is your next president, the 47th president of the United States, Donald J. Trump.

Charlie, I was going to go no red states or blue states for all the United States of America. I don't when I look at the vague, I like think of I love when he says 1776.

Because his hair reminds me of somebody that like he's got a haircut that looks like reminds me of like literally the founders. Very Jeffersonian. He's very Jeffersonian. He's got like the he's got the perfect cut for it. I'm like, dude, Vivek is young like those guys. He's got a haircut like those guys. The way he says 1776 gets me going.

I love it. Let's continue here. I was marking out, folks. There was definitely a focus on Gen Z and millennials. We did that in our speech yesterday. Cut 112, evake. And our message to Gen Z is this. You want to be a rebel? You want to be a hippie? You want to stick it to the man? Play Cut 112. And our message to Gen Z is this. You're going to be the generation that actually saves this country. You want to be a rebel? You want to be a hippie? You want to stick it to the man?

Show up on your college campus and try calling yourself a conservative. Say you want to get married, have kids, teach them to believe in God and pledge allegiance to their country. Because you know what? Fear has been infectious in this country, but courage can be contagious too. That too is what it means to be an American.

There's the line, folks. Be a rebel, start a family. You like that, guys? Be a rebel. I'm saying it too. We got some young guys here. Be a rebel, start a family. That's one of the great, the great, we don't really talk about who started that, but we can, we talk about the fact that that's gone on to be one of the greatest slogans for millennial and Gen Z. And by the way, and I always like to add when I say this, that it's, you're never too old to start a family either. That's something that a lot of people need to hear. Well,

It is incredible, Blake, the talent that we have on our collective roster. Compare this to the Democrats who are about to have their convention, and one of their biggest problems is who can we even slot in? They are still trading on the popularity of someone who hasn't been president for eight years. Eight years? Barack Obama. They have Gretchen Whitmer, who I think is super unlikable, Gavin Newsom, who's awful, and...

They don't have the talent that we have. I mean, you have one after the other. You have Marco Rubio, Ron DeSanto, Vikram Asami, Ben Carson. I mean, that is hard to match. Well, they also, Charlie, have a problem because coming out of the Obama era, Biden got the benefit last election of these like holdover...

Hollywood, elitists, musicians and things like that. I don't think those people are going to show up this time for him at the convention. You don't think Jack Black is going to do a good job? I can't wait to see Jack Black's speech. Jack Black said that he would be giving a speech at the DNC when Joe Biden is victorious. I can't wait to see. I hope all of Tenacious D is there. I hear their tour has been a little bit curtailed. We'll see. The.

Vivek Ramaswamy made a direct appeal to black America. Let's play cut 114. I'd like to deliver a message that the media doesn't want you to hear from the Republican Party. Our message to black Americans is this. The media has tried to convince you for decades that Republicans don't care about your communities, but we do.

We want for you what we want for every American. Safe neighborhoods, clean streets, good jobs, a better life for your children, and a justice system that treats everyone equally, regardless of your skin color and regardless of your political beliefs.

I thought this was excellent, guys, of Vivek Ramaswamy trying to expand the tent of the Republican Party. That is a beautiful pairing with a patriotic woman who spoke about her son being killed. Yeah, Madeline Brame. And there was a theme tonight. The theme was that our cities are unsafe. Our party is increasingly diverse, but we actually don't care that much about it. It just so happens. We also have really high performing people. We're not afraid.

to show the depth of our roster and then you end with Laura Trump, which I just thought was terrific and excellent. Marco Rubio also gave a great speech, didn't he, Blake? I don't know. I was walking to the table. Who heard Marco's speech? Did anyone hear Marco's speech? Did Marco do a great job?

I thought Marco was excellent. He's come a long way, too. I mean, you have to look at this. The transformation of Marco Rubio from OG Marco Rubio to post-Trump Marco Rubio is special. You and I talk about this a lot because there was a time where Marco was – and Tyler, talk about this for a second.

Marco was supposed to be the heir apparent to the party after the Romney autopsy of 2012. It was we need more Hispanics, and we are going to hand it. This was Karl Rove. This was his strategy. We're going to give it to Rubio, and it was all pander, all pander, and he was sort of just there as a vessel for all of this. Yeah.

Gingivate Marco Rubio replaced by post-Trump Marco Rubio, and the Cubans love him even more. That's right. Let's continue here recapping the phenomenal evening. I'm curious to hear what some of the media networks say about this, what they're trying to do. Dark night. One of my favorite human beings. We love Ben Carson, don't we, everybody? Ben Carson is just the best.

cars is the best let's hear it for dr carson he is he is one of the greatest living americans and he gave a wonderful speech this guy is such he's honorable he is honest he's a good good man play cut 123

Let me tell you the weapons that they used. First, they tried to ruin his reputation. And he's more popular now than ever. And then they tried to bankrupt him. And he's got more money now than he had before. And then they tried to put him in prison. And he's freer and has made other people free with him. And then last weekend, they tried to kill him. And there he is over there, alive and well.

And it's just amazing to hear and see that. Additionally, I just want to just say this before we play the Madeline Brain thing. My team is reminding me. If you guys want to get that Never Surrender t-shirt, it's members.charliekirk.com. We're doing a member drive all week, members.charliekirk.com. This was, I think, the speech of the night. I knew it when I saw her name listed. She is the

The Blexit director for the state of New York, which is a project at Turning Point USA. She is dynamic. She is intense. She is 100 percent American. I'll tell you what. I thought this speech in the room. I don't know who was in the room when she gave the speech brought down the house. Right. Madeline Brain. Wasn't this incredible? Her son was killed by the relaxed policies of Alvin Bragg. Play cut 126. The four assailants responsible for his death.

initially were facing justice. But that changed when District Attorney Alvin Bragg was elected. Suddenly, two of the homicidal maniacs responsible for my son's death had their gang assault and murder charges completely dismissed.

Let's get more clips from that because she kept on going and going and going. Jack, let's talk about the issue of crime. That was a big issue tonight. I think we need to run more on the issue of being tough on crime. Charlie, look, I remember so many people saying that, uh,

You know, Trump needs to appeal to women and he needs to choose a woman on the ticket. And there was this whole school of thought to say, that's how you bring back the suburban women. And that's how you can bring back the energy to appoint a woman, nominate her. This will be how we go forward.

I would argue the way you bring back women and bring back families in this country is by showing that you will take violent crime seriously. By the way, the same violent crime that just happened a few blocks away from here today...

that police had to deal with a stabbing incident which seeks to fan the flames. Look, it's gotten too far. The anarcho-tyranny has gotten so bad in America's once great cities that... And Rudy Giuliani is here walking around...

Bukele has shown us that this is a solvable problem. And I think people have gotten to the point where they say, you know what? I don't want to be so worried about the rights of the violent criminals that are terrorizing us. What about the regular people? If I I'm going to give this advice to the Trump campaign.

Because they'll probably get a press pass or two when the Democrat National Committee is in Chicago. And hopefully we'll be able to do some reporting from there. The only thing they should say is, wow, the city has never been safer because there's police everywhere. So you can make Chicago safe when a bunch of really rich Democrats come into town. You can make Chicago a decent place. Charlie, they should compare that.

Yes, well, it's like San Francisco with Xi Jinping or Seattle with the All-Star Game. All of a sudden, everything becomes nice again. We need to run that message. They have no counter to that. It's what you said last night. It's a choice. How many murders will there be the week of the DNC in Chicago? It'll go down dramatically. They should...

Compare the crime statistics for the two weeks before to the two weeks during the convention. And people will see and know that. And they'll say, oh my goodness, widespread crime is a choice. It is a choice to say that we want our cities to not be safe. Madeleine Brain brings the heat. She wins my award for speech of the night, just so I'm clear. Madeleine Brain, cut 127. Donald Trump shares our values. Love of God.

family and country. He's been a victim of the same corrupt system that I have been and my family has been. He is committed to providing economic opportunities, helping those suffering from addiction with long-term inpatient drug programs.

Rolling back deadly bail reform policies that are getting our children killed every single day and supporting our police. We back the NYPD. We back the blue.

How great was that, everybody? Right. And that was just 10 out of 10. So I want to just say that that Madeline Brame speech was raw. It was authentic. And you kind of take a risk with these everyday American speeches. Sometimes they don't hit and God bless them. You know how hard it is to get up and give a speech. I mean, they don't do this professionally. And you should just cut them a bunch of slack. By the way, I had a Daily Beast reporter come up to me and he was like, what do you think about some of these speakers that are not hitting their lines? I was like, are you kidding me?

not hitting their lines. These guys, it's a small business owner trying to make payroll and he has to get up in front of 15 million people. Anyway, that's just the state of American media. We have real people instead of theater kids like the Democrats all are. I hated this, but

I think back to Democrat conventions, and I think we would all agree the most powerful moment of the 2016 Democrat convention was that Mr. Khan, who held up the Constitution. Do you remember that? That my son didn't die? Do you remember that? Something of that variety? Well, and of course, that turned into a huge priority or huge controversy when Trump responded. And the everyday American wrinkle really...

makes a convention or breaks a convention. She crushed it. Now, whether or not the networks took it, by the way, I'm getting a lot of complaints from people that networks are cutting in and out of speeches way too much. Oh, my goodness. No, but no, other networks do. They're only taking two or three speeches, and I think that's doing a huge disservice. When you're covering the convention, the goal should be to cover as much of the actual convention. Let them present the content. Right.

Right. That's why, like, I don't even say this because, you know, Charlie would never say it himself, but we asked him, we said, Charlie, do we want to do a live stream? And he said, only once everyone has finished. That's why we're out here this late. We're not going to talk over people. We're not going to be doing that kind of thing. Only when they're done. Yeah, because here's the thing is that

First of all, every single one of those speakers worked very hard for that moment. Number two, they're there for a reason. They have something to present to the country. Why would we counter program that? So Madeline Brame won the speech of the night. What do you guys think? Can you hold that up, please? That sign, Jack. Tyler, I'll go to you. What do you think of just the visual immediately of Trump vans? Well, we said this. Remember we were debating this. It's the best picture.

I remember this. Vance overtakes Pence. The five letters. It was a natural thing. You only need two letters. It's only two letters. If you're a marketing guru, this is it. I want to take that from you. I want it. Did you see it going on the plane, Charlie?

I'm sure they have like a thousand of them. Did you see it going on? Did you see the footage of them putting the decals on the plane as well? I mean, how beautiful is that, everybody? Right. Is that not a ticket? Yes. Right now. I love that. I would have my only note. My only note. I would have done the Vans in white. I would have done the Vans. I think it's good. I think it's great. Red on blue is a little hard to see.

No, no, I like it. I get the red button. I get the motif. You want Trump to be the most emphasized. It is emphasized. It is a Trump ticket with J.D. Vance. Well, all the people who crossed out the Pence on their flags, now they just have to cross out the P.E. It's the P.E., right. Right.

You can keep the NCEA. It's perfect. Lara Trump had a very tough assignment tonight. Lara Trump is co-chair of the RNC. It is very hard, right, Tyler, for a co-chair or chair of the RNC to get that kind of primetime address. And she absolutely crushed it. Well, she dominated. So she took over.

A lot of the role, because a lot of people have said, well, there's clearly less Ivanka that's involved now. Yes. And we got to give a ton of credit to Laura. Laura is carrying a massive load for the Trump team, not just with the family, but at the RNC doing a huge job as co-chair right now. I want to say that six months ago when we were talking about convention,

We thought that the chair was going to be a lot different, right, Tyler? That's right. We were working hard. And we're in a much better place because of Laura Trump and Michael Whatley. President Trump deserves credit. Let me give Laura Trump some well-earned credit here. What cut is Laura Trump? Let's play cut 122, please. Well, it may not be a surprise that I actually had a very different speech that I was prepared to give up here tonight.

That all changed at 6:11 on Saturday evening. Nothing prepares you for a moment like that. Our family has faced our fair share of death threats, mysterious powders sent to our homes, tasteless and violent comments directed towards us on social media. But none of that prepares you as a daughter-in-law to watch in real time someone try to kill a person you love.

None of that prepares you as a mother to quickly reach for the remote and turn your young children away from the screen so that they're not witness to something that scars the memory of their grandpa for the rest of their lives. If Donald Trump has shown us anything, it's that when it feels impossible to keep going, those are the times we must keep going.

I thought that was awesome. So, Tyler, you want to take us into what what if land? I'm going to tell you right now, had the grassroots not risen up and did some things that were really important at the Republican National Committee level.

This convention would be a disaster right now. And I'm going to tell you, and again, I want to give a lot of credit to Laura. And Donald Trump. Well, yeah, and Donald Trump. But Laura, we had a lot of conversations about who could be co-chair because you have to have a female co-chair with a male chair and vice versa. And when the discussion was there's going to be a male chair, who could be female co-chair?

Many of us said Laura is the only and best option. And look, I mean, when you look at this convention, you say the amount of work that Laura is doing on behalf of the family, our obvious nominee, everything else. This thing looks a lot different than what it could have turned out to be.

Looks a lot different. And we're very lucky for that. And that the grassroots deserves all the grassroots deserves a ton of credit there. I agree. I want to get to another piece of tape here of Laura Trump. But I want to also have understand we are only two days into this convention. And I want to do a little bit of a peekaboo tomorrow. Tomorrow is one of the most important speeches in the history of the MAGA movement. Yes. And it's

It is J.D. Vance unofficially, officially showing the shelf life of MAGA is preserved in perpetuity, right? Yes. MAGA's not going anywhere, everybody. Nowhere. And so J.D. Vance's assignment tomorrow, and Blake, I want to have you comment on this. First, his assignment is, number one, who am I? Who's this guy with a beard who looks like, you know? Obi-Wan Kenobi. Oh, sure. Yes.

Or somebody, you know, it could be a little war. It could be some it could be some voters grandson. Right. That's number one. Number two, what does he bring to the table? And is he ready to make the tough calls? He has to come across as presidential and capable and also, yes, youthful and vibrant. But number three, he has to paint a vision to voters and conservatives and people in the middle that this agenda, if this is the dawn of MAGA,

Not the dusk of MAGA. Blake, what do you think of that diagnosis? Trump, he's going to come out and have to make the case, which I think he will.

That the Trump era is not the era where Donald Trump, the eight years where Donald Trump is president of the United States. The Trump era is going to be this entire, the rest of the century of the United States. It's going to change the direction of America, of the Republican Party, of the American people. And Vance can be the man who helps carry that agenda forward for another 40 years, hopefully.

And I, the Jack, your anticipation, if JD people are also after the assassination attempt are understandably thinking one heartbeat away, two inches away. And not only did that assassination attempt happen on the Saturday before the convention, but there was no VP named Donald Trump could have very easily been with JD Vance on that stage, but

And who knows? Maybe there would have been no... There was a lot of speculation that he would be because it was so close to Ohio. Maybe there would have been no head tilts. Maybe two people would have gotten shot. I mean, God forbid. But by divine providence, we are where we are right now. Talk about J.D.'s tone of what he... It's a huge... So this is interesting. His task tomorrow is massive. So this is interesting because...

I was with J.D. Vance at his NatCon address last week in Washington, D.C. And so that was, interestingly enough, the final speech he will ever give before he became the vice presidential nominee and, of course, our next vice president. But that was the last speech he gave, and he laid out it was all policy. It was strong. But he also knew at the time that it might happen. And so...

He laid out a vision for the country that was very different than you hear from your sort of typical mainstream Republican, typical mainstream politician. And I think it's an interesting vision. And he talked about how

We have to stop talking about America as a figment or America as this abstract concept, but that America is an actual place with an actual people and an

actual group with a shared culture and a shared heritage and a shared identity and a place that must be preserved for all of the people who are there. And that was, it was, it was so incredible to hear because Biden had made the exact opposite pitch at

the debate forcefully and to hear him do that and watch an incredible crowd at NatCon put it over. This is going to be the speech tomorrow night. And if history works out that everyone remembers, you know, going into the future, they'll say that was the speech that set up his future career, his future presidential run. That's what the stakes are for J.D. Vance tomorrow. Well, and Charlie, I'll say this too. What my perspective on J.D. is,

he's an incredible mascot. I think to piggyback on what you're saying, like an avatar, he's a, he's like an avatar. He's like a mascot for America. Yes. And he's a mascot for manhood. Cause again, to reiterate what we said yesterday, you've got, this is Trump Vance versus Kamala that Biden's done. He's not going to make it six months into the next administration because

There's no way. This is Trump, Vance versus Kamala. So this is manhood versus Kamala. This is Americanism versus Kamala. This is everything is on the table against Kamala. And I love J.D. for what you're saying is that he represents America.

for what it is, not a thing, not an idea for a place. It's not abstract. Wait until Hillbilly Elegy. Wait until Hillbilly Elegy comes into play and we actually have Kamala Harris try to present her... What is her story? Her story is, I got elected and I went...

We know her story. We want to talk about her story more. That guy with the Jeffrey Epstein shirt could probably tell that part of the story. I want to summarize this, guys, because it's almost midnight on the East Coast. And as a reminder for our viewers here, we are streaming five or six hours a day. The tech team is working their tails off. If you're at home and you feel compelled to want to support our team, our gang here, go to members.charliekirk.com. You get a copy of the Never Surrender shirt. Also, I think we're doing hat

giveaways late later in the week but this one right now it is can you show that up on screen it's members.charliekirk.com that is members.charliekirk.com if you guys can show that up on screen um so really all eyes are on tomorrow i i don't sit and wait for any speeches i am going to literally pull rank and call in a favor i want to be front row when jd vance hits that stage i'm sorry i'm gonna be right there

Like that hundred percent. That's the speech that I'm going to be right there. Smack dab. I mean, cause that's, that's a speech that I, I could not have dreamed nine months ago. And there was a, an amazing New York times article where it's like JD's name was voted for VP in January. He thought it was a joke. He was like me VP. What?

And it's incredible that Donald Trump made this just courageous move. I think that America is going to be buzzing about this political talent who is raw, authentic. It could be a turning point. It's a turning point. It's a turning point.

He would be the first Marine to serve as vice president or president in American history. Again, the hillbilly elegy is amazing. No one can say, oh, you don't understand what it's like. He grew up in rural poverty, a form of poverty that is largely forgotten because people only really think about urban poverty in this country. And

So we're going to see what he does. But I don't want to build the expectations too high. But I'm going to be honest. I'll tell you, he is going to crush it. He's going to deliver it. That place will be electric. And America is going to say, wow.

We have an 81-year-old president, a 78-year-old former president, a 59-year-old current vice president, and now a 39-year-old VP. Whoa. As Blake said, do the math again. I love this line. You can have two J.D. Vances, and it's still younger than Joe Biden. Come on! How good is that? J.D. Vance plus J.D. Vance is still younger than Joe Biden. With a few years of change. And...

Charlie, JD's family too. Let's not get started on IQ. I'm excited to be right there with you, Front Row and JD too. JD's family is beautiful.

So he has a beautiful family. She clerked for Roberts. She's so smart. She's a mother of three. One of their kids is named Vivek, which is hilarious. No, it's true. One of their boys is named Vivek. And so I hope she comes out with him at some point. I hope that there is an entrance because that shows in so many ways she's

An Indian American, so it kind of dispels this whole kind of stigma about the Republican Party right then and there. So anything else? I think that J.D. also needs to lean into the violation of the social contract, that there's a social contract that has been largely accepted in America that kids do better than their parents. Tomorrow, if he leans in that that contract has been broken and he wants to reinstitute it,

He can be a voice for so many different groups. He's a veteran. He's a war veteran, by the way. He's a dad. He is a believer. He's a Christian. And for the idea of him coming from

The place where he came from, and that's been my only note to his team throughout all of this, is lean in on Hillbilly Elegy. Go back to your roots. Tell the story of J.D. Vance. And Charlie, I could see it in his eye yesterday when he walked. He didn't speak yesterday, but he walked on the floor. And I was there with producer Andrew. And he came out.

And you could see he was so choked up. And you could tell that it is in his mind. He was going back to those days of growing up in rural Appalachia, dealing with... And he's been very open about this. A family with substance abuse...

rising above that, pulling himself up, getting out of it, but then going back to help the people who were still there. That's the story. I want to flag that as something important. So he has all those factors we've mentioned, but he's actually somewhat unexpectedly, like Trump, he's actually a class traitor because he's

He went to Yale Law School. He went to Silicon Valley. He was in elite finance venture capital stuff. He could have said that. Yeah, he could have easily been a mascot for why all these things are great and I'm glad I left all of that behind. And instead he turns around and embraces this agenda. And you can really sense that when you read profiles of him in...

you know, left-wing mainstream rags, they often harp upon this. They're like, why did J.D. Vance become this way? Well, tomorrow we'll see why. And you can see he's like former roommates and is like, this guy at Yale is like, I don't, I can't understand why he would do this. This is terrible. And you could see that, and they've mentioned a few times that J.D. felt like

that they were pushing him to be this sort of like Trump whisperer, but also the dispeller. You know, he's just explaining, and this was what we get from MSNBC. Remember, white rural rage. It's the party of white rural rage. And I think, honestly, J.D. was like, you know what?

Screw you because I'm not, that's not what this is about. It's not about hating somebody because of the race. It's about loving people that you grew up with, about loving this country and wanting to do something for people that everyone has forgotten about. I want to reiterate something that is incredibly important.

that given the assassination attempt, a lot of people are now focusing on the VP more so than I think in any other. It's in people's front of mind. It's in what's happening. And let's be honest. What percentage of the country, Jack, of people actually have a strong opinion about J.D. Vance?

Less than 3%? He's not well-known yet. So it's sort of interesting, right? Hyper-political people do. So his movie did extremely well on Netflix. Really? It did. But...

Then when he sort of got into politics and went pro-Trump, they just totally pulled it from everywhere. They shut it all down. It shut it all down. They shut it all down. Yeah, the puff pieces, the promo. Keep in mind, Amy Adams was in this. Glenn Close played his grandmother in this.

this huge Hollywood all-star cast. Yes. And then just disappears completely. I hope he actually mentions Hillbilly Elegy in the speech. Yes. To connect the dots. So connect it. So people say, oh, that's the guy. Well, Charlie, let me tell you this. I was having a conversation with somebody who...

Who knows? I've texted a bunch of them, too, that that was like, like, like knows us and follows politics. And I pointed out to them and I said, yeah, we watched that movie. And they were like, what do you mean? Like, you watched that movie a couple of years ago. Is it? Oh, wait, that's J.D. Vance. And it was like the connection wasn't made.

And that connection, when done, is next level. That's what takes it all next level. Whoa, that kid who grew up with his mama and was beaten and abused and abandoned is now poised to be the next vice president of the United States. And let's be honest, J.D. Vance, again, is a category of the most forgotten underclass, which is white, rural Appalachia. When people think of poverty, they don't think of that...

And they have been forgotten. And so, you know, we always think of, okay, a rags to riches story. Okay. Rarely do we have seen an American politics, a rags to riches, rural poverty story. Have we in the recent era? That's pretty, that's a, that's a deep point, isn't it? Not for a hundred years, Charlie.

Well, Tim Scott is North Charleston. Clarence Thomas, but not Appalachia. VP and president. Again, I'm not trying to racialize it. I'm just saying, though, that it's a thing, right? And I think it's important that we, I mean, because, you know, they talk about Cory Booker or Obama or whatever. It is the ultimate rags to riches American dream story. Okay. In closing here, guys. So Vance tomorrow, we're going to be covering it closely. I might be late to the stream tomorrow because I'm going to be front row. I'm going to.

I'm going to do as much interviews as I can. By the way, can we get a shirt? Can we buy a shirt? There's got to be somebody selling shirts around here. So the reminder, guys, members.charliekirk.com to support the stream. Let's go around the horn. Blake, final thoughts on a great day at the RNC.

The party's unified, and tomorrow we'll see just how unified and excited it can be. Everything is 10 times as electric because of an event that, let's remind you, it's only about 80 hours ago that the attempt happened. Not even 100 hours have passed.

And it's just hard to believe. It's hard to grasp. By the way, I love the nightly WWE entrances where he's just kind of just walking in. Have you seen the memes? UFC. Have you seen the memes? They're taking those and putting like the WWF logos on it. You know, previously on Raw. I just, I love that. Tyler, final thoughts. We've got our party here tomorrow.

For all our Gen Z TikTokers, we got our Sigma 47 shirts that are going to be here. Sigma Trump. So we're going to go. I'm going to try to get the VP to stop by. We'll see. Yeah, let's do it. We'll see. Let's do it. And everyone needs to go out and watch Obiliology. There's one piece that I do have to say, though. I understand Trump has a halo effect right now. He does. We can all see it. That will dissipate.

Complacency is the greatest threat right now because we have to remember that all of this unity and all of this goodwill goes away if we do not attain victory. Victory must come first. Unity through victory. Unite the country behind this team. Fight, fight, fight, fight, fight, fight, fight, fight. Here is the good news of modern politics.

Is that in modern politics with higher turnout and with mass mail-in voting, you have to, you cannot have base decay, right? Tyler, the Democrats currently have base decay. 70% of Democrats wish they had a different candidate. Less than 15% of Republicans wish that we had a different candidate. They can win anything they want at any time. And that number will go down as this week continues. The more Nikki, the more DeSantis, the more Vance, more Republicans kind of come home. It really solidifies that.

JD Vance can run up the score in Western Pennsylvania, and he's going to be able to open the door to Gen Z and millennials in an epic and historic way. Reminder, members.charliekirk.com. I want to show one more thing here, which I think is important. I just have gratitude to God. Can we put up this picture that I sent, please? In one shot, Tyler, is a picture of Laura Trump, Donald Trump, and JD Vance. Yes. Six months ago.

What is going on? I mean, no one would have believed that was possible a year ago. And today you're looking at a much healthier trajectory for the Republican Party. Look at that picture. That picture right there. You got Laura Trump.

Donald Trump, J.D. Vance, and a split screen, of course. Six months ago, we did not know who the nominee was going to be. We suspected Trump, obviously. But the indictments were a thing, right? There was no VP. The RNC was broke. And the RNC was broke, not raising money with a completely different chair. Charlie, there were conversations about a rule change to the RNC to say that a convicted felon wouldn't be allowed to receive the nominee. We remember all these threats coming up and the

The previous situation was allowing those threats to come up. Now, now there's no there's no question the situation has changed for the better. Tyler, what were you doing today?

We were training ballot chasers in Waukesha. Let's go. Let's go. Literally today, Tyler was onboarding new full-time bodies to go chase ballots here in the state of Wisconsin. How awesome is that? New full-time ballot chasers. And if you guys are inspired watching at home, say, I want to chip in. It's members.charliekirk.com. Members.charliekirk.com. We are in a wonderful place. Glory be to God. I have gratitude for the leadership that is now in place. And what is the proper reaction, Tyler, to work your ass off

and work like hell harder than ever before. But let me also say, Joe Biden is going full populist right now, right? Blake, Joe Biden is doing student loan forgiveness, 5% capping of rates. Joe Biden is running like a Bernie Sanders. He's in Supreme court term limits. That is going to be right. Tricky. Did we not call this? We kept saying he, they're going to try to roll out.

based Biden. And it's going to be Biden versus the machine, Biden for the people, Biden against the elites. And we said this last night that there is going to be a populism arms race that's going on now. And you can see this. Do not sleep on this race. The polling will tighten. The Democrats still have their convention. The propaganda arm will be in full force.

We will win or lose based on the blood, sweat, tears, and toil that you put into the boring stuff in July and August. While they're fighting, we're registering voters. While they're bickering, we chase ballots. Jeff? I got an email in from Stephen K. Bannon. I don't know if you guys know a guy by the name of Steve Bannon. Woo!

And I got an email from him and I was asking about a free Bannon, of course. And I was telling him, you know, giving him the updates, kind of giving him the play by play, the inside baseball. And I talked about this idea of complacency. And he sent me back one line. You want to know what Steve Bannon said? There is no substitute for victory.

Gotta win. And that means we should work even harder. Guys, I have lived around Republican politics where everyone has a problem with the ticket and all this. I have never had lower patience for people complaining about a presidential ticket as Trump Vance. Somebody sent me a message today. I was like, literally lose my number. If you have a problem with Trump Vance, you have, you have, you have serious problems as a conservative, right? I mean, if you have a problem with this to go take back the country, it's a you problem, not a them problem. And I,

you should leave the country if you're a conservative i mean that no i mean like there's nothing there's nothing that is good enough for you charlie kirk go off charlie go off at this point you're like oh trump vance isn't sufficiently conservative enough for me yeah go chase ballots become a member members.charliekirk.com and uh we have a united party and i couldn't be more thankful laura trump jd vance donald trump what a time to be alive fight fight fight fight fight fight
