I think we have to view this race as analogous to World War I.

The race against Joe Biden was the sort of political race that you want to run. Donald Trump got to be aggressive and free-willing. His opponent was paralyzed and inept. Looking back, should we have even debated in June? We probably should have waited until he was the nominee. But it is what it is, and lessons were learned. The Democrats were under attack by their own allies in the media. They were in a civil war between the Israel wing and the pro-Hamas terrorists. Donors were fleeing.

Now things are very different. Kamala is in the race and things have legitimately reset. Does that mean we're going to lose now? Not by any measure. Does that mean we're going to win automatically? Not by any measure. But it means that winning is going to be a grind. The race against Biden was like America in World War II. We were stronger, faster, and had more resources than our enemy. We got to Berlin ahead of schedule.

The race against Kamala, this one is going to be like World War I, a tough, slow trench warfare grind. Kamala has the press and the regime media on her side. They're crafting outrageous lies to memory hole things like Kamala being the border czar. Just this morning, the New York Times wrote a story. They said, well, she was never the border czar, but she was in charge of stemming migration from Central American countries. How'd that go?

She was in charge of something, and she oversaw the greatest invasion in American history. You see, they're trying to present Kamala Harris as an outsider. She doesn't talk about her record because she doesn't have a record. She's responsible for the war in Ukraine. She's responsible for the open border crisis. She's responsible for the invasion. The media is out in a full Blitzkrieg manner. They're smearing a normal Midwest dad, J.D. Vance, as weird.

Meanwhile, you got a bunch of tranny freaks running all over the place in the White House. They changed Easter to the Transgender Day of Awareness. You got Kamala Harris writing letters to Dylan Mulvaney and ignoring service members. Here is a fact for you. Do you know that Kamala Harris has not called or even said the name of the 13 service members that died in the withdrawal of Afghanistan? But she wrote a personal letter to Dylan Mulvaney, a mentally disturbed young man,

who calls himself a young girl, a teenage girl. She wrote a letter to Dylan Mulvaney, but she won't say the names of the families and or the individuals that died in Kabul during that horrendous withdrawal. But they're smearing J.D. Vance as weird. Why is J.D. Vance weird? Oh, because he's loyally married with three children and living the American dream.

Kamala is reunifying parts of the left by pivoting on their losing issues. Instead of angering both pro and anti-Israel factions, she's attacking Hamas supporters far more decisively than Biden ever did. Kamala got the donors' money back, and she's pandering much harder to Silicon Valley. Bringing down Kamala Harris and defeating her is going to be a challenge. Just like in years past, we have to fight not just the Democrats, but also the media, the deep state, and the ruling elites.

In World War I, you would fight for four years to gain a few miles before finally winning. The previous campaign that ended when Joe Biden dropped out a week and a half ago was a test of energy, resources, and strategy. What is this new campaign? This new campaign is a test of the will.

This campaign is going to test how badly do we want to win? Who wants it more? And right now, the Democrats, they have a lot of energy because they've been able to rest for the last couple of years. They haven't been doing the work. They've kind of just been taking it off. Who is going to do more work? Who is going to chase more ballots? Who is going to register more voters? And it is a 50-50 election. And you better believe they are going to lie, steal, cheat, all of it.

But like World War I, it's going to be one step forward, two steps back, two steps forward, one step back. All this effort to barely be able to gain an inch. Democrats could be peaking at the right time. Having more energy when no ballots are being cast doesn't matter. We had a great RNC a couple weeks ago. Doesn't matter. The Democrats are experiencing what they call the Lazarus campaign. They were dead and suddenly they have new life. And that has a serious psychological impact.

Now, I don't necessarily believe that I think this poll is largely trash, but this is the World War One election. Bloomberg Morning Consult poll shows Trump down 11 in Michigan, Trump losing by two in Arizona, losing by two in Wisconsin, losing by two in Nevada, tied in Georgia and Trump up four in Pennsylvania and up two in North Carolina. Now, there's a lot wrong with this poll. It's been picked apart by objective observers.

But this is the World War I type data where you get good news, you get bad news, you get bad news, you get good news. The days of us running up against Joe Biden are over. And it requires now a grassroots hustle and a test of fortitude. I had somebody come up to me the other day asking for a selfie. You know, they were registered to vote to their credit. And they said, what do we have to do to win? I said, you have to dedicate every five-year being to win. It has to be your obsession. And he said, well, I don't know about that.

He's like, good luck. I'll support Turning Point. This is, again, and that's fine. There are a lot of sunshine patriots and summer soldiers. A lot of people. They like watching politics like I watch Oregon Ducks football. They kind of watch it from afar. They're cheering for the team, hoping it works out. Doesn't go in their way. They turn off the TV and they go to work next day. And just so we're clear on the poll, there's almost no world where Trump is up four in Pennsylvania and down 11 in Michigan.

That world does not exist. So the data is probably screwed up there. But the Democrats are surging and they are raising hundreds of millions of dollars right now. Hundreds of millions of dollars. And the idea of trench warfare is that it's going to be ugly. It's going to be nasty. You're not going to feel as if you're advancing the line very much. And both sides are now going to dig in. And it will come down to the couple hundred votes there, a couple hundred votes there, a couple thousand votes there.

And the Democrats, they are reinvigorated. They will have a war chest the likes of which we have never seen before. Billions and billions and billions of dollars. We will be outspent. But the question remains, and I don't yet know the answer. Will we be outworked? I don't know the answer to that. Will we care more than the Democrats? Harris gave them a temporary sugar high and morale boost. Harris gave them a temporary little sugar boost.

blast. Is it sustainable? That's the question. But I hope everybody understands that we are what, 97 days out from counting day. We are, we're literally like 41 days. I have the counter here out from North Carolina beginning voting. North Carolina starts voting in 37 days. Pennsylvania starts voting in 47 days. Wisconsin starts voting in 55 days. Arizona starts voting in 68 days.

And the Democrats are going to have energy and enthusiasm. The question is, can we gather ourselves and understand that this trench warfare will be a test of the will? And if we fall short, it'll be because they wanted it more than us.

Can you feel it now? Something even bigger is coming. Your God-given freedoms are up for the taking. Even worse, those doing the taking are the same people who've sworn to defend your freedom. They think they can violate your right to protect your own family. They think they can force their delusions onto your kids. They think they can control the media and hide the truth. But you know what they can't take away? Self-reliance.

So there is a question, and I want you guys to email me your thoughts, freedom at charliekirk.com. Should Donald Trump debate Kamala Harris? And here's my opinion on this. Absolutely yes. However, do not do a one-on-one debate with Kamala Harris. Do not do a Trump versus Kamala Harris debate. Instead, demand a town hall debate. Instead,

Do a debate where voters ask the questions. We don't need to see Trump and Kamala Harris go back and forth. I don't think that is fruitful for anybody. In 2016, Donald Trump's best debate by far was the town hall debate with Hillary Clinton. Donald Trump is amazing when he comes in contact with everyday Americans. Kamala Harris is cold, insincere, rehearsed, theatrical. Donald Trump is warm, funny, funny.

Enigmatic? Kamala is not great on her feet. Kamala Harris will have to look at the eyes of a regular everyday voter.

Trump is a powerhouse when it comes to this. So do several debates with Kamala Harris, but say my condition is that we only take questions from real Americans. And what that does is it effectively neuters the bias of the moderator. Now, Candy Crowley, I think, was one of the moderators, if I'm remembering correctly, in 2016. She wasn't I don't know whatever happened to Candy Crowley. She used to be around a lot. But the.

Debate in the town hall back in 2012 was Mitt Romney's weakest debate and Barack Obama's strongest debate. You might remember Obama. He rolled up his sleeves and he did the whole I'm there with you. And if you remember also, it was Bill Clinton's best debate when there was a question about Social Security.

And George H.W. Bush gave this hyper technocratic answer about cutting Social Security for the debt. And Bill Clinton said, I feel your pain. I feel your pain. And at that moment, they say the entire election was won. Town halls in presidential debate history have always generated the most viral, decisive moments for the better candidate on their feet.

A one-on-one debate, I don't think is a good format for president Trump. Meaning if it's just them back and forth, like we saw with the Joe Biden debate, the town hall typically favors the most authentic person, the better candidate, the better story, the better message. And even if they rig it with a bunch of bad questions, Trump can do the, well, you'd be in jail. He can do his talent of being able to respond. And by the way,

Almost this, that debate, if you remember the context of the town hall debate back in 2016, when Donald Trump took questions from voters, that was days after the Billy Bush tape. Days after. And it saved and turned Donald Trump's campaign, the Access Hollywood tape, from people thought that he was in a very bad spot, and just the physical contrast. One of my favorite parts is when Donald Trump would be walking in the background when Hillary Clinton walked.

was answering questions. Play cut 89. It's just awfully good that someone with the temperament of Donald Trump is not in charge of the law in our country. Because you'd be in jail. Secretary Clinton. Just from a body language standpoint, alpha, you'd be in jail. Perfectly delivered. So absolutely you should debate Kamala Harris.

But do it standing up with handheld mics, roving around, taking questions from voters. Let the beast roam free.

With the kind of static and making Trump stand at one place and go back and forth and you got these cut images and Kamala Harris is going to say, and she flails her hands when she talks. I don't know if you noticed this. And you're going to be unburdened by what has been and you're going to be in the future of what can be. And I'm a prosecutor and he's a felon. We got all that. Okay. We have to try to get this out of the prepackaged talking points and hear from actual voters.

Why? Because the issue set favors us. There's only so much that they could do. Eventually, there will be a question from a voter, I can't afford groceries. I can't buy a home. There will be a question from a voter that I can't afford to fill up my tank of gas. There will be a question from a voter saying,

Illegal immigration is destroying my state. And there's only at that moment, Kamala Harris has to look in the eyes of a human being, which is something they don't want to do for that. This robotic, synthetic, fake, cackling, cruel, heartless communist from California has to engage with the underclass of actual voters. And she has to perform. And to be honest with you, Biden would have done well in that.

Biden is very good at being fake sincere. He'd say, what's your name, pal? Let me tell you, we're going to do the non-senile Biden debate. Do it as a town hall with an audience. Take questions from real voters. So Kamala Harris is trying to introduce herself to the American people. And I'm sure her team sat and thought and they said, OK, what celebrity, what person is able to put on a presentation?

that best captures the life, work, and experience of Kamala Harris? What celebrity is able to distill the work that Kamala Harris did to climb the ladder with such great and focused ambition to be able to become vice president and maybe president of the United States? And somebody said, aha.

There's someone who perfectly captures the persona, the attitude, and the core values of Kamala Harris. Play cut 76. Yeah.

Yeah, but J.D. Vance is weird because he wants you to have kids. So this is a celebrity by the name of Megan Thee Stallion. Not exactly my expertise, but my Gen Z correspondent, Daisy, has educated me on this.

These are the lyrics that Miss Stallion was saying. Again, it's just perfect Kamala Harris core values here. They gonna click if it's me. All my Bs are getting these N-words through the quarantine. Yeah, I'm very well on my S-word, as you could tell. Am I allowed to say this next word? Am I allowed to say that? Any hoe got beef from years ago is beefing by herself. Aha.

If we took a real trip on the real creep trip, they might say, Charlie, what is this? This is the warm up act for Kamala Harris. And this is where it gets great. Body, body, body, body, body, body, body, crazy, curvy, waving, big. Let's just say breasts. Little waist. Body, crazy, curvy, waving, big breasts. Little waist. She continued on her wholesome family tour in an attempt to win over nuclear families and baby boomer voters and cut 84.

I'm a savage. Classy, bougie, ratchet. Sassy, moody, nasty. Acting stupid. What's happening? I'm a savage. Classy, bougie, ratchet. That's right. Sassy, moody, nasty. Acting stupid. What's happening? B word. What's happening? I'm a savage. Classy, bougie, ratchet. Sassy, moody, nasty.

And it all makes sense. And they say, oh, wow, this is in the tradition of Kamala Harris. So Kamala Harris has this big event in Atlanta, and she has Megan Thee Stallion come up, do her little routine with lyrics that are not, I wouldn't even say it's family friendly. It's the opposite of family friendly. But it's okay, everybody. I know you might be very worried that the Megan Thee Stallion vote might come out

In major, major numbers. But rest assured, it's okay. Because Kamala Harris, those are Kamala Harris's values. Dancing around in a very ratchet manner talking about, let's just say, your body.

Donald Trump, by contrast, spoke at the Believer Summit, the Bitcoin Conference, going to the Black Journalism Conference today and having a rally in Pennsylvania. J.D. Vance, rally in Reno, Glendale, Arizona, talking about family formation, having children, lower taxes, no tax on Social Security, no tax on tips, sealing the border, peace in the Middle East, peace in Ukraine. What agenda do you want, America? The Megan V. Stallion body savage agenda or the make America great again agenda?

Joining us now is Senator Rick Scott. Senator, thank you for joining us. Can you give us the latest out of Venezuela? My understanding is that you have been communicating to freedom fighters on the ground there. Tell us the latest.

So clearly the opposition won. So I talked to Maria Karina Machado. You should all admire her. She had the courage to fight in a socialist country with her life was always at risk. Right now they're trying to arrest her along with all the opposition leaders. But it's clear she won. She has the tally sheets. We put those out.

So I'm going to do everything I can to support her and get everybody I can, every democracy in the world to acknowledge that Mundo Gonzalez won the vote.

So I called the White House. Biden hasn't called me back. I've called everybody I can think of to say we've got to be vocal. We've got to get out there. We've got to tell what the results were. I'm glad the Carter Center came out and said that at the election there was irregularities in the election. So...

So this is our chance. It doesn't mean it's going to happen. Maduro's trying to steal another election. Biden helped him by reducing the sanctions with a commitment that there would be free and fair elections. There was an election, not free and fair, but even an unfair election, the opposition won. So Maduro needs to leave. So I'm working every day to try to get...

everybody in the world to rally behind the opposition so we get freedom and liberty for the people of Venezuela. So I understand that there's quite a story here that the opposition kept track of the vote by having poll watchers all across the country and they counted. Can you tell us more about that?

Yeah, they kept track of the votes. Now, first off, you have a right if you're not in Venezuela to vote, but Maduro didn't let them do that. I mean, think about it. There's millions of people that clearly would have voted for the opposition, not Maduro, because they left because of Maduro. But even with that, she kept track

And then she released those numbers. Now, what Maduro did was he lied about numbers, just made up some numbers saying he got 51% of the vote, has no background, no data, no anything.

And so what we've got to do is really respect what she did and then get... I mean, the keys are going to be Biden, Lula, the president of Mexico. We've got a lot of countries in Latin America that have called out Maduro for what he did. You have to really admire Malay down in Argentina. So there's a...

So this is our shot. This is our shot to show the world that one, liberty and freedom can win. And two, we've got to get rid of this murderous dictator. So I'm going to do everything I can to get Biden to do the right thing.

Hopefully Trump will weigh in here. We're going to get everybody to get the world community on board. So, yeah, what are what potential levers do we have to do this? Because Maduro is just saying, I'm in charge. You're not elections. I won the election. Safe, fair and effective is what they're saying.

And so what potentially could America and the countries of Colombia or Brazil? I mean, Lula is a communist. Is Lula really going to pair up here? They share a major border with Venezuela. Brazil carries a lot of power in that hemisphere. What could potentially be done here? Well, number one, everybody that speaks highly of what the opposition is doing helps them on the ground.

So they're clearly protesting in Venezuela now. Every time we stand with them, it gives them energy. You can see it. They've toppled the statue of Chavez. So that helps them. That's number one. Number two is if we can get –

every democracy in the world, whether somebody is a lefty or not, they should believe in the freedom of the vote. And if they do that, there's a greater chance that Maduro will be set out there by himself. He'll be a pariah and then people will do sanctions. So right now we can do, what we need to do is put in the Trump sanctions again against Maduro and everybody around him that Biden, you know, the Biden reduced sanctions

with the commitment that we'd get a free and fair election, which we didn't get, although we still won. So I think it's just, you know, this is our shot. We got to do everything we can. It's still hard. But if the whole world community, no different than how we got rid of apartheid in South Africa, if the whole world community shows up and says, Maduro, you got to leave power, then we've got a shot here.

So and I think that's really necessary. The people are in the streets. If Maduro continues to hold on to power, I'm hearing that there could be potentially five more million people leaving Venezuela to Central America. So this has serious ramifications and serious hemispheric implications, correct?

Yeah, I mean, there are so many people who have come to the United States. There are many people who have come to Colombia. They've gone to Chile. They've gone to Brazil. They've gone all over because there's no opportunity for them or their children.

And so there will continue to be an exodus from the country and the country will continue to fall into what Cuba's done, just complete squalor where only the government officials do well and everybody else is oppressed. That's what's happened. It'll just continue to get worse and worse and worse.

So, Senator, I want to get to your hearing here that you had with the Secret Service. And I know this is a difficult question, but is there anything that you are studying and observing on the ground in Venezuela that you worry that it's far too similar to some of the patterns we've seen here in America as far as people do not have trust in their elections, people that feel as if that there is a ruling class that's disconnected from them? We should take what's happening in Venezuela very seriously.

You know, Charlie, absolutely. You look at, we have lost trust in government and who's done that to us? Government. I mean, look at this, the shooting, the assassination of Trump. So why hasn't, this is what, 18 days, why hasn't Homeland Security, why hasn't Secret Service, why hasn't FBI done daily briefings? When I had the post nightclub shooting,

or 49 people that were killed. We did two or three briefings a day with local, state, and federal law enforcement. We gave people information as we had it. What we didn't know, we didn't know. We told them that. Did the same thing after the Parkland school shooting. The federal government is causing people to... They're causing this mistrust. Like at church on Sunday, people come up to me and said, is there really a second shooter? Do you really trust that this was an inside job? And so...

How can I answer it if I don't get any answers from people? That's right. I can't say, you know, it's a black, like I said yesterday, what you got, what I've told this FBI for a long time, you guys have become a black hole. People have lost trust in you. They think the people that work at the FBI at the local level are great. Secret services, great. Homeland security employees are great. The leadership is not to be trusted because they will not tell us something. Charlie, if somebody won't answer your question,

You believe they're hiding something. It's as simple as that. And that's exactly what they're doing. So, Senator, I want to play a piece of tape here from one of your hearings that you were involved in. Let's play cut 90, please. You should be providing. I mean, you should be every day say this is what we know now. This is like Senator Johnson put together a timeline. You should have put together a timeline. You should immediately put out this is what we know right now and this is what we don't know. Like we like you've said, you don't know how the gun got up there.

Right. You've said it. But why? Why? Why have that should been out all along? We're looking at it. It doesn't make any sense. We've done this. We've done this. We've done this. If you do. I mean, this is I just don't get it. Why? Why would you do you're ruining? I've said this about about the FBI. I mean, the people that work the FBI, people work at Secret Service. They're great people. You're a black hole. You lose the support of the American public because people don't believe you're being direct with them.

I say this with a fair amount of sorrow, Senator. I do not trust this current United States Secret Service to keep President Trump safe and alive. Oh, Charlie, think about the person that was responsible for that rally. Is he doing Trump's next rally? Bingo. Are you doing the next rally? If you in local law enforcement, if there's a local shooting in Florida.

That person is put on an administrative leave, not saying they did anything wrong. And then we have a separate group, the State Department of Law Enforcement that does an investigation to see how the shooting happened. Now, he didn't say anybody did anything wrong. Has that happened at Secret Service? No, no one has been, no one, we don't, you know, no one has been saying, well, yeah, we're not going to let that team or that person run this next event. They might be running the next event. We don't know.

Yeah. So that's a great point. Do we know who the agent in charge or the AIC was in Butler, Pennsylvania? No, they have not disclosed anything. And they and they've not. No one's been put on leave. No one's been fired. No one's been reprimanded. And it's they hide behind this. Well, we have to do an investigation. Well, right. We should do an investigation. But in the meantime, I don't I don't. Something went wrong.

The president of the United States got shot. That's not insignificant. The former president got shot and and he's a Republican nominee. That's not think about if he had been killed. What could have happened in this country? And then they sit there and they don't have any questions. What would the American public still would not be healed? We would be in a in a in a state of bedlam, Senator. Right. And so so and so why do they want to lose the trust of the American public? That's exactly what they're doing.

So it doesn't make sense to anybody that they're not disclosing information. It just doesn't make sense. And so I'm going to keep bugging them to do it.

I mean, biocrits needs to be on in doing interviews and answer all the questions until they run out of questions. Stop this idea that you have a right to hold back information until you finish some investigation two or three or four or five years from now. And Senator, at the root of all this, and I saw this in the smugness of the direct acting director, they don't think they think you guys are an annoyance. They think you guys are a peanut gallery that kind of just watches them do their work when

You are a co-equal branch to the executive branch. They work for you. This idea, they think they are superior to the legislative branch. That the legislative branch that you guys offer suggestions to,

And that you guys sign their checks. We need a rebalancing of the constitutional structure in Washington, D.C. Final thoughts, Senator. So we need to get a majority in the Senate. Yes. And we need to get we need a majority leader that's going to say we are going to take responsibility for our job.

OK, and not give it out to the executive branch. And we're going to hold them accountable. That's exactly what Congress ought to be doing. And we are not doing it right now. We have your back, Senator. I hope you become Senate majority leader. First, we need to win in Montana and maybe Ohio and maybe Arizona working on that. Secondly, we need to make sure you win the conference vote. Senator, thanks so much. Have a good day. Bye bye. Thanks so much for listening. Everybody email us is always freedom at Charlie Kirk dot com. Thanks so much for listening. God bless.
