Hello everyone and welcome back to True Crime with Kendall Rae. So happy to have you joining me today as we discuss another case. And if you're new, then welcome. So happy to have you as well. So today we are going to be talking about the very recent disappearance of Caleb Harris, who is only 21 years old and he disappeared in March of this year. So 2024, if you're watching this later on and

And of course, awareness is everything when it comes to disappearances and his family has been doing everything they can to get his name and face out there. So that's why I wanted to talk about it today. However, sometimes it's really hard to cover recent cases because things are developing so quickly. I think a lot of you know that I record my content about a week in advance because my team needs time to edit it and process it, run it through YouTube systems and everything like that. So

there is a chance that information will come out after I have already recorded. However, if it comes out with enough time for me to record extra lines and put them in there with new information, I'll definitely do that. If I don't have time for that, I'll be sure to pin a comment so that you guys can keep updated on the case. But with that being said, I do encourage you to go and

follow them on social media and maybe set up Google Alerts so you can keep up to date with what's going on. I do want to say that this case hasn't gotten a whole lot of coverage from mainstream media. I mean, there has been some media coverage, but not enough, of course, and that's the majority of missing cases. They don't get enough media coverage and more is always better. How

However, it has gotten a bit of traction on social media. There's been a lot of discussion, you know, awareness raised for Caleb's case, getting his name and face out there, always great. I mean, there are so many positives to social media. We see it over and over again that some cases really only get attention because of social media. So it's really awesome. At the

At the same time, that of course comes with a lot of speculation and misinformation being spread. And so I just want to let you know there might be things that you have heard about this case

on social media that I will not be reporting. I am not going to get speculative. I'm not going to talk about anything that hasn't been confirmed because that is really unhelpful to the, you know, investigation itself and also just adds an extra toll to the family that they do not need. Misinformation can not only be hurtful to the family, but also can have a massively negative impact on the investigation. So it's just really important to point that out. So I ask

If you have anything like that out there that you don't know is confirmed, please do not put it in our comment section. It would mean a lot to me. And of course, with this case, I am calling on you all to be active true crime consumers today and do your best to spread the word about Caleb Harris, whether that's sharing this episode or sharing a photo of him, his missing persons flyer or any coverage on him on social media or wherever you can, especially if you live locally to the case.

That would be super, super helpful. But with all that being said, let's go ahead and jump in by starting to talk about Caleb Harris and who he is. So Caleb Harris was born on September 24th, 2002 in New Braunfels, Texas. And he was raised by his parents, Randy and Becky. And he has one younger sister named Andy. And growing up, Caleb is described as someone who had no problem making friends. He had a lot of friends, in fact. And I think people were just...

naturally drawn to him, I'm guessing because of his personality. From what I have learned about him, he seemed like a really awesome guy that you would want to be friends with. And he, you know, had a lot of friends in his early life, but that really continued on into his early adulthood as well. Caleb is just that type of guy who goes out of his way for the people in his life. And those who love him and know him best say that he's always been an incredibly respectful person. He

He was raised in a religious home with super strong morals rooted heavily in their faith, and that faith has really helped the Harris family a lot during this time. Caleb is also described as having a super even-keeled personality, which I imagine is another reason why he's so likable.

It sounds like he's that friend that you could go to if you needed literally anything, and he'll be there for you regardless of what that looks like with a smile on his face. And if you're watching this episode, you can probably tell from the pictures of Caleb that he is a huge outdoorsman. He especially loves fishing and hunting and, you know, growing up in Texas really fostered that.

that love. And I think you can just tell by looking at these photos of him how much he loves being outside, that the outdoors are truly his happy place and where he finds a lot of peace. But Caleb has other passions too, including cooking and music. From a young age, he had taken interest in playing the guitar. And by the time he was 21, he could pick up and play most string instruments, which is

Very impressive. So as you can probably tell, Caleb is a super well-rounded person. You know, he plays several instruments. He can cook. He can hunt. He can fish. And not only that, he also played football and baseball. And his mom said that for him, really above anything else when it came to playing sports, he truly loved the team aspect.

of things, that he was so social, he loved being able to meet other guys his age that way. And so, of course, when he went to college, it was pretty easy for him to make a lot of friends and a lot of connections. In early 2024, Caleb was a second-year student attending Texas A&M Corpus Christi, where he studied environmental science and had plans of one day becoming a game warden or an environmental lawyer. And going to school in Corpus Christi was

perfect for Caleb because it offered him the opportunity to do everything he loved, which most of the time meant hunting and fishing. And just for some context, if you're not familiar with this area, Corpus Christi is a coastal city in South Texas, about 160 miles south of where he grew up. And the campus sits between two bays, Oso Bay and Corpus Christi Bay, making it the perfect

place geographically for someone like Caleb who loves to fish. And truthfully, it's really the reason that he picked this school, and it was a great choice for him because...

by all accounts things were going really well there he was really happy with his classes he had a great group of friends and of course he was getting to have plenty of time outdoors which was just crucial for him so truly I have to emphasize as far as we know as of March of 2024 Caleb was very happy very happy in school happy in his life and everything was going well for him

So I've talked many times about how much I love Rocket Money and how it saved me so much money in subscriptions that I forgot about, I paid twice for, free trials that I started in completely spaced that I even had them going. And I love that they're able to cancel them for me, which is otherwise really time consuming to do, a total pain to get on customer service and fight with them. But recently, Rocket Money came in clutch for me because they

alerted me that I had an increase in one of my subscription prices. And I definitely would not have even known if it wasn't for Rocket Money. If I were to ask you how much you think you're paying in subscriptions every month, the answer is probably more than you would think. Over 74% of people have subscriptions that they've forgotten about, just like me. And most Americans think they're spending about $62 a month on subscriptions. But get this, the real number is closer to $300.

which is literally thousands of dollars a year. Rocket Money is a personal finance app that finds and cancels your unwanted subscriptions, monitors your spending, and helps you to lower your bills so that you can grow your savings. With Rocket Money, I have full control over my subscriptions. We can see a clear view of our expenses for the month, and we can see everything in one place. And if there is a subscription that we're not really using anymore...

Rocket Money can help me cancel it with just a few taps. I love how the dashboard shows me this month's spending compared to last month so I can clearly see our spending habits. Plus, they even can help you create a custom budget and keep your spending on track. Rocket Money will even try to negotiate to lower your bills for you by up to 20%. All you have to do for that is submit a picture of your bill and Rocket Money just takes care of the rest.

and they'll deal with customer service for you. Rocket Money has over 5 million users and has saved a total of 500 million in canceled subscriptions, saving members up to $740 a year when using all of the app's features. So stop wasting money on things you don't use. Cancel your unwanted subscriptions by going to rocketmoney.com slash Kendall Ray. That's rocketmoney.com slash Kendall Ray. Once again, rocketmoney.com slash Kendall Ray.

There was nothing, and I mean nothing, in his life to indicate that anything was going to go wrong. But unfortunately, something did go wrong. Because in the very, very early morning hours of March 4th, Caleb vanished and left behind absolutely no indication of what happened and why. So let's start out by talking about the timeline together. And I want to note that this timeline didn't come out until March 28th.

But I think it's important to start with this before we start talking about the search efforts or any other details, because it's going to help us kind of try and understand Caleb's last movements before he disappeared and what was happening in his life. And it starts on March 5th.

3rd and that was a Sunday and Caleb spent part of that day fishing his mom had actually just visited the Friday before so he had already been having a really great weekend and I'm so glad that she was there to spend time with him right before he disappeared I mean I

Obviously, I hope that she gets to spend time with him again one day. But after he went fishing on that Sunday, he texted some of his friends and also sent a few pictures of fishing lures to his dad, which he was planning to use the following day when he went out fishing again after class. Now, something you should know is that Caleb's parents had a rule for him that if he was ever going to go out fishing and hunting, he wasn't allowed to do so alone, which obviously

Personally, I think it's a great rule. I've heard a lot of, especially in true crime, I've heard too many stories of things happening to people when they are hunting, fishing, even hiking alone. So I always recommend that as well, that for a safety precaution, you always have somebody with you when you're doing those things, which is hard because I understand a lot of people like to have that time alone and really connect with nature. And I totally get it.

And for them, it wasn't because they didn't trust him or didn't think he could handle being alone. It's just a safety precaution. But just so we're clear, this is a rule that Caleb always followed. But anyway, that evening, Caleb spent about 71 minutes playing video games online with a friend who actually lives in Colorado. And they played together until about 10, 15 p.m. And then after this, one of his roommates brought home their new dog, Ginny. And...

Everyone was super excited. This dog, Jenny, not only is she super cute, but it was a great situation because she was coming from one of their roommate's

family friend, as I understand, who no longer could take care of her. So they were all really pumped to have her. Now, some reports say that she just belonged to Caleb and other reports say that she belonged to his roommate's girlfriend, but I'm not exactly sure who she really belonged to per se. But from my understanding, it seemed like she was going to be a little bit of everyone's responsibility and everyone was really excited to have her.

have her as a group. Although that being said, I don't know if it really matters who she really belonged to at the end of the day. I mean, at least when it comes to this case, it really doesn't add any

important info but what's really important to know is that sunday was the first night that she was coming home and they were all just really really over the moon to have her they were all taking pictures and getting excited to buy her a life jacket so that she could go fishing with them so obviously this was something really great for caleb and then jumping forward here to 1 a.m it

A ring doorbell camera actually captures Caleb, his roommate, and their other future roommate taking the dog outside. And...

Sadly, this sighting would be the last recorded visual of Caleb. And you can see him wearing a white button-down shirt, teal-colored pants, and a light hat. Look here, Caleb can be seen in the parking lot at his off-campus apartment complex off of Ennis-Johnson. Around 1 a.m., he was with one of his roommates, a friend outside playing with a dog. Caleb's face visible as he looked toward the ring camera before they make their way back in the other direction on that night in Irvington.

early march and shortly after returning to the apartment the friend who was not living there yet went home and then around 2 20 a.m his roommate said he was going to bed but caleb said he planned on staying up a little bit longer he was actually going to order food from uber eats for the following day or i guess later that day technically for lunch while he was fishing and i guess this was a common thing for him to do to order food to bring fishing with him and i mean to me it

Makes total sense. His mom said that he would typically get some Lunchables, an apple pie, and a Red Bull. Pretty solid meal. And that's exactly what he ordered that night at 2.45 a.m. And a minute before this order was placed at 2.44, he sent a very short Snapchat video to his sister, and it was of him walking the dog in the parking lot of his apartment complex.

Now, what's important to note is that this time when Caleb went outside with the dog, there is no captured video of him from a ring doorbell or any other security camera. And this was just a little bit confusing, but I'm pretty sure from what I gathered, the reason that is is because this time he went out the front door. And when he took the dog out earlier with his friends, he had done it through the back door.

And the ring camera was facing the back of the house. So there was no camera out to capture this second time he brings the dog out by himself. So it's really, really helpful that he had taken this Snapchat to his sister. And so we can confirm that he was outside with the dog. And it's believed that he didn't go too far. And that's because...

According to authorities who have done an extensive forensic examination of his phone records, we do know that Caleb was at the apartment complex again when that Uber Eats order was placed at 2.45 a.m. But we do know that at 2.58 a.m., his phone either died or was turned off. But after that point, it never turned back on. And to this day...

has not been found. And to my knowledge, as far as law enforcement has shared publicly, they do not know where his phone was when it was shut off or died at 2.58 a.m. Now, obviously, these details are super important to the investigation as a whole, but also important to note because when it comes to his phone records, there's a bit of an anomaly, or at least an anomaly is what his dad Randy is calling it. And the first, and this is super, super weird, is that

At 3.03 a.m., after his phone has either died or shut off, another Snapchat is sent. The Snapchat was sent to a high school friend of his who was living in San Antonio, and it was a blurry picture of a bridge over a drainage ditch, which was located near his apartment. And that picture is, I don't know how you guys feel about it. To me, it's really eerie. It's just kind of a random image of...

Kind of gives me the creeps. The other anomaly was at 3.12 a.m. when his phone pinged from a different location than his apartment. And not only that, it pinged from about a half a mile to a mile away from his apartment, which is super strange considering we know that his phone was shut off.

at 2.58 a.m. And obviously this part of things has been talked about a lot online and I want to be really cautious when bringing it up and not speculate at all because it's

Truly, no one knows exactly why these anomalies are happening or how to explain them right now. I mean, it's very confusing. But here's what I will tell you about these two timestamps, and this information comes directly from his family. According to Randy, who interviewed with Jennifer Coffendaffer, who has come on this show before, I know some of you are familiar, he mentions that it's possible that the Snapchat Caleb sent his friend was actually sent earlier than 303, but just wasn't received until then, which...

Definitely was my first thoughts. Basically, he's saying there was a delay from send time to receive time, which personally, I don't use Snapchat anymore. I haven't used Snapchat in years. I know it's really kind of come back, especially with the younger generations, but I don't know how common that is. Maybe you guys will have thoughts on that. But obviously, I do know that text can delay and sending photos and videos and other things like that. There can be delays. So this

was kind of my first thoughts as well. But as for the phone ping, Randy just says that he believes this is an anomaly. The data from Caleb's cell provider is among many things that's being investigated. And at least right now, there's not much to explain what it means. There's some anomalies out there of another chat that he sent to a friend after the phone went off and then possible ping. But those both occurred after the phone went off.

was not working. So there's really no evidence that that phone really did that other than it's just an anomaly. It could have happened. He could have sent those a lot earlier and the phone could have actually connected to a tower a lot earlier. It just happened to show up, you know, within about a 12 minute timeframe after his phone went dead. But going back to what we do definitely know and can confirm at this point,

At 3.20 a.m., the Uber Eats order was delivered and marked as delivered. Now, the delivery driver says that she made her delivery, but that she didn't see Caleb himself and actually didn't see anyone else either. And we also know that it ultimately wasn't until 11 a.m. that any of Caleb's roommates realized that they didn't know where he was. That's when they noticed that his Uber Eats order was just still sitting by the front door and that his truck was

Wallet and keys were all there, but Caleb and his phone were nowhere to be found. Now, within a matter of hours, his roommates called Mr. and Mrs. Harris to let them know that they couldn't locate Caleb and reported him missing to the Corpus Christi Police Department.

And after receiving the report, of course, responding officers started by calling local hospitals to check for, you know, any unidentified patients that maybe matched Caleb's description, but there were no hits. So from that point forward, a large-scale search effort kicked off.

Tonight, family, friends, and roommates are searching for a Texas A&M-Corpus Christi student who is missing. That student, 21-year-old Caleb Harris, and he was last seen at an off-campus apartment complex. 21-year-old Caleb Wilson Harris of New Braunfels was reported missing yesterday. Harris' father tells 3 News his son was last seen at his off-campus apartment complex letting his dog out. Now, his Snapchat account last...

pinging his location to friends and family around 2.45 a.m., his dog at the apartment. Harris' father tells us that his son's keys and wallet are still at the apartment. Tonight at 6, we'll show you how his family and friends are

are now aiding in that search. Preliminary searches were conducted at Caleb's apartment complex, the cottages, as well as the surrounding area. But officers found no signs to indicate that there was any kind of accident or foul play. There was no sign of a break-in. There was no sign of a hit and run. There was no sign of a struggle. I mean, absolutely nothing, which has definitely made this case super frustrating. I mean, it's

We all know that when it comes to life, there are things that you sometimes just have to compromise on. But when it comes to life, there are things that you sometimes just have to compromise on.

But when it comes to your health, there is no compromise. So don't go back to one of those doctors who uses your appointment to catch up on the latest headlines or their family group chat, not really caring about what you're actually saying just because they're available right now and they take your slightly sketchy insurance. That's not a compromise you want to make. Instead, check out ZocDoc, the place where you can find and book doctors that make you feel comfortable, listen to you, and prioritize your health. And you can search by location, availability, and insurance so there's literally no compromises here because with ZocDoc, you've got more options than you know.

ZocDoc is a free app and website where you can search and compare highly rated in-network doctors near you and instantly book appointments with them online. Once you find the doc you want, you can book them immediately. No more waiting awkwardly on hold with a receptionist, which is something I always hate doing. And all these docs have verified reviews from actual real patients, which is the real game changer. I've seen enough bad doctors in my day, and thanks to ZocDoc, I have finally found doctors that I truly trust, I feel like listen to me, and

And I was able to, you know, find them based on reviews from other real people. I mean, we live in 2024. Everything has reviews now. So why wouldn't we check reviews on doctors? And the typical wait time to see a doctor booked on ZocDoc is just between 24 and 72 hours. That's it. Sometimes you can even score same day appointments, which I've been able to do before. Super convenient. So if you want to get started, go to ZocDoc.com slash Kendall Ray and download the ZocDoc app for free. Then find and book a top rated doctor today. That's Z-O-C-D-O-C.com slash Kendall Ray. ZocDoc.com slash Kendall Ray.

sockdoc.com slash Kendall Ray. So physically speaking, they haven't found anything to explain Caleb's sudden disappearance, which is incredibly frustrating. And another thing I wanted to know is it's not like he lived in a sketchy area. I mean, I haven't ever been there myself, but from what I've gathered, it doesn't seem like it was considered an unsafe place to live in any way. And the cottage's apartment complex is known to be...

fairly safe. In fact, a lot of students live there if they're living off of campus. Unfortunately, though, and this really honestly just pisses me off, their security cameras weren't working at the time that Caleb went missing, which I just believe is a huge failure on their part.

And I'm getting so, so tired of hearing this in cases. I swear, like one out of every four cases I cover, there is a failure of a security camera somewhere. And I don't really understand the point of having a security camera if it doesn't work. And oftentimes these cameras haven't worked in a long time and no one's taken the time to fix them. Sometimes it's like missing a battery. It's just it's really, really, really frustrating when someone's

So many cases could be solved like that if we just had working security cameras. But especially in an apartment complex where there's tons of students living and, you know, they are trusting and their parents are trusting that they are at least having that level of protection to have security cameras. And it's possible Caleb's case could have been solved by now. He could have been found by now if those cameras were working. And that just...

Drives me insane. I don't know. And obviously, I'm not trying to put all the blame on them. It's very common for security cameras not to work. I just wish there was an initiative worldwide to just get the security cameras working. It's 2024. Let's make it happen. The unknown is just so hard to cope with. And for them to have had to deal with so much unknown...

I don't know how people find the strength. Like I said before, his phone hasn't been found and there also haven't been any clothing items found to indicate his last location or where he could have been.

Anything like that. Plus, let's not forget that all of his belongings were found back at his apartment. This included his fishing and hunting gear, his truck, his wallet, his keys. I mean, if he was going to go somewhere, he obviously would have left with more than just the clothes on his back. And he definitely wouldn't have left without shoes. And that's something I haven't brought up yet, but Caleb's family is...

pretty confident that Caleb wasn't wearing shoes because they have gone through and accounted for every pair of shoe he owns as far as they know. And yeah, it's believed that he may have been barefoot when he disappeared. Plus, and I'll get into this later, there was a potential sighting of Caleb without shoes on. And this was after the time that it is believed he disappeared. And I'll explain that more later, but I do want to just...

emphasize that that was a potential sighting it is not confirmed but really caleb vanishing the way he did genuinely made no sense to anyone and the people closest to him say that there was no way he would have left on his own accord i mean just hours before going missing he was texting his dad those pictures of the fishing lures that he was planning to use the following day and if we're looking at the bigger picture here caleb had already re-signed the lease for his apartment and

and was planning on, you know, continuing on school the following year. So he was making plans. And not only that, he also was super pumped because he had a job lined up out in Alaska, which is such a cool opportunity. He was going to be able to go during the summer and work this job. I mean, he was really...

really, really looking forward to that. It just wasn't something that he would have skipped out on. And so nobody, not even law enforcement, believes he was exhibiting any signs of someone who would be planning to try and disappear. He also didn't have any signs of mental illness. He had never run away before. He had no history of anything like that.

which is something that law enforcement looked into, which means that there is a high possibility that whatever happened to him

happened against his will. And here's something else about that night that needs to be considered. We know that Caleb was out walking the dog at 2.44 a.m. when he Snapchatted his sister. And at some point, he had to have brought her back home because Jenny was inside the apartment that morning when Caleb's roommates realized that he was gone. And considering the fact that investigators don't believe anything happened to him in his apartment, it

it means that he would have had to go back outside. But why? And we also know that his Uber Eats order was delivered at 3.20 a.m. and we know that the driver didn't see him. And I can see where a lot of your minds are probably already going now. And just so you know, the driver has been completely cleared, looked into thoroughly, and absolutely had no involvement in Caleb's disappearance. So when did Caleb go outside?

And why? And what happened to him when he did? And that is what everyone wants to know, what everyone is trying to figure out. And luckily, search efforts started immediately and they were extensive. Like I mentioned before, of course, his apartment complex was searched.

as well as the immediate surrounding area. Then in the early days of the investigation, the search expanded drastically. The search efforts have been conducted and aided by law enforcement, but friends, family, students, and other third-party search teams have joined in and offered their assistance as well, which has been really cool to see this community really come together for the Harris family and for Caleb.

But these teams went on to search the east and south parts of North Padre Island, as well as along Ennis-Joslyn Road, which is where his apartment complex is located. They fanned out across a span of several miles in the days that followed, and some teams have now expanded their search radius to more than 20 miles away from Caleb's apartment.

apartment and because Corpus Christi sits along two bays with several drainage ditches and waterways dive and recovery teams were brought in as well a San Antonio search and rescue team with professionally trained members also looked along the shorelines nature preserves and in the areas of oso Bay Flower Bluff Padre Bali Island and the Packery Channel then there was the oso wetlands which isn't far from Caleb's apartment and they

also searched on foot and with drones. They even brought in cadaver dogs and bloodhounds, which everyone hoped would provide some answers, but right now it doesn't appear as though anything has been recovered. The U.S. Coast Guard even flew a helicopter over the area, and cadets from the police academy have aided in search efforts right alongside Caleb's loved ones.

using the cadets that we have currently in the academy right now to actually physically get their boots on the ground and canvas the adjacent fields, the drainage ditches, the area like that. We're also utilizing the drones to check the adjacent fields. Found out from his roommates, we live in New Braunfels, so I came straight here. Caleb's a great kid.

And this just really scratches the surface, but I think it gives you a really good picture of how expansive the search effort has been. Those first two weeks were all hands on deck between law enforcement, family, volunteers, and they were really leaving no stone unturned. Today, our focus is actually on out of the way areas that people wouldn't think about.

Just to make sure we just have to cover all of our basis. We've done a three mile radius of his apartment. So we're fanning out from there. You've really been relying on the public in this effort. Talk about the resources involved.

Yes, I mean, we are a search and rescue group. We are out of San Antonio. So we put the plea out there to have the local Corpus Christi people come and help us with this search. And they've been great. And they've been giving you tips as far as, well, maybe look in this area or maybe look in that area. Yes, absolutely. That's where we're getting a lot of our information from at this point is from the locals in the area. Between helicopters and dive crews, they were literally searching high and low for Caleb for hours.

any clues that might lead back to what happened to him. And of course, his parents have been very, very grateful for everyone who has helped and all the work that has been done. Are you happy with law enforcement efforts thus far? I mean, do you feel like they're doing their due diligence and keeping you in the loop as a family? Yes, I think they're doing the best that they can so far. And we are grateful for all of the time that they have put into the efforts of finding him.

They've come out in a massive way to help, especially in the searches with cadets, with Coast Guard, Texas Parks and Wildlife, all of their search teams. They're using every resource they can. And yes, they are

However, as grateful as they are for the way the community and law enforcement came together to help, and believe me, they are very grateful. They also feel that public attention on Caleb's case just pales in comparison to how other cases have been picked up by national headlines right away. And of course, we see this all the time.

the time. I mean, people go missing in this country and around the world, of course, every day. And oftentimes we never hear about those people. It's really strange how certain cases will get a bunch of coverage and some will get almost none. So really, the people closest to Caleb and his family have had to do all of the outreach when it comes to making people aware of Caleb's disappearance, getting the word out.

And that's really frustrating because that's honestly the last thing that a family should have to worry about in a time like this. But they're doing it anyway. And I'm really impressed with them. I mean, I'm always impressed with families who are able to take things into their own hands and really, you know, push as hard as they can. And for families that can't mentally take that on or don't know even where to start, don't have the resources, I don't blame them at all because that is so difficult to

like I said, it's really the last thing that you should have to think about. And I think it is the last thing some people think about because they're so focused on just finding their loved one. But I do want to say Caleb's family has done an amazing

amazing job, a really remarkable job at doing everything they can to get the word out there. From the moment that he found out his son was missing, Randy drove right down to Corpus Christi and stayed there for weeks coordinating search efforts and cooperating with law enforcement. He's also gone on to do a bunch of interviews and has stayed so incredibly strong. So I really...

Really applaud him for everything that he has done. In fact, he's actually the reason that I heard about Caleb's case. And when it comes to his mother, Becky, she has also done a lot of amazing work. She not only has continued to care for their daughter, who is still in high school, by the way, but she also has kept their family afloat by acting as a major support system for all of Caleb's loved ones and just really...

keeping the hope alive. They also have an amazing family spokesman, Tony Mathis. He's actually a friend and coworker of Randy, and he's been helping them a ton with all the interviews and also organized their GoFundMe. And I think it's really amazing to see this group effort for all these people to really come together and

support each other through this time and kind of each take on a different role to make sure that at the end of the day, Caleb is found or at least that this family can have the answers that they deserve. The Harris family has talked a lot about how heavily they've leaned on their relationship with God to help them stay strong. And they believe that wherever Caleb is,

He's also relying on his faith to get him home too. They've asked for and received a lot of prayer for their son, and they continue to hold out hope that God will guide them through this and guide them back to Caleb. I know I've said this before, but I'm not religious myself.

But I think it's really beautiful in times like this where families are able to lean so heavily into their religion and gather that hope and faith, you know, to carry them through. And of course, even though I'm not part of an organized religion, I definitely will be saying my own version of prayers for this family. And I encourage you all to do the same. You know, the power of positive thought, I think, goes a long way, whether that's connected to a religion or not.

If there's one thing I hate in life, it's having my time wasted when it's beyond my control. A couple weeks ago, I had to pick up a prescription through the drive-thru pharmacy and I got stuck. The person ahead of me took forever, not their fault of course, but I

I couldn't back up because someone was behind me, obviously couldn't pull forward. So I just had to sit there for 30 minutes and wait. So I love any service that allows you to avoid the pharmacy. So on April 4th, two vigils were held simultaneously in New Braunfels and the other one in Corpus Christi to not only raise awareness, but to come together as a community in prayer.

Family, friends, and strangers fill New Braunfels Land Apart to offer a single prayer. Bring 21-year-old Caleb Harris home. We're holding up really well. We've had so much prayer and support that that's really what is moving us forward. So we're hopeful to see him still. A Texas A&M Corpus Christi student was last seen March 4th at his off-campus apartment. Caleb's mother, Becky Harris, says waiting for answers over the past month has not been easy. I

I have thought about it a lot. I have no idea what happened. I feel strongly that he was taken. The Harris family says the reason for the two vigils, one here in New Braunfels and the other in Corpus, is to increase their power of prayer. The vigils started at the same time. They started praying at the same time. And they believe through their faith that Caleb will make it back home. Now, when it comes to the investigation...

Obviously, law enforcement definitely stepped up in those early days. Not only were they physically searching, but they also spent a lot of time talking to Caleb's friends and his roommates who were spending the most time with him leading up to his disappearance. And I just wanted to be crystal clear on this because I'm sure people are wondering and will ask,

Caleb's friends and all of his roommates have been cleared of any involvement in his disappearance. And I already said it, but so was the Uber Eats driver and everyone else in his family as well. And it really has been a thorough investigation into all of these people. And they went through a lot to be cleared. Randy himself has spoken out and said that Caleb surrounded himself with a great group of friends and really at no point in time did their family suspect

suspect that anyone in his life could be involved in his disappearance. I mean, it really never crossed their mind. Of course, like I said, they were still looked into because police had to do their due diligence, but there was nothing to suggest that any of them were involved whatsoever. Now, here's a short clip of an interview that Randy and Tony did with a channel called Justin on TikTok that explains how they feel about this. We never really even questioned them at all because we know them.

But yes, they've been through a lot to get to the point where the authorities are 100% satisfied that they don't have anything to do with it. We spoke to one of the roommates today outside the apartment, and I can tell you the kid was broken. Obviously, these kids have been through a lot in the last few months, and I just once again want to ask that question.

You don't say anything hurtful about them in the comments or speculate about their involvement. I mean, they have been cleared. And unfortunately, that has not been the case when it comes to social media. There have been a lot of hurtful things said and a lot of speculation, which reminds me a lot of many different cases, but especially what comes to mind is

the murders of the Idaho Four and how many other young people were blamed and ridiculed and people who had nothing to do with it. So I just think it's really irresponsible when people just start assuming things without knowing shit. So yeah, it's really frustrating and I just hope that we can

not have any of that in the comment section. Of course, it's the internet. I know people are going to say what they're going to say, but if I see it, I will ban you. I mean, I'm not going to tolerate anything like that. I mean, these people have been 100% confirmed to have no involvement. And that's all I'm going to say on that. And I want to point out that there has been a lot of good social media efforts in this case. And it's something that the Harris family has said they're extremely grateful for. The fact that anyone has taken time to share his story has

meant so much to them. So like I keep saying, and I hope I don't sound like a broken record here, but sharing this case on social media would be super, super appreciated by this family. And obviously, if you're in the Corpus Christi area or even Texas, that's especially important. But even if you're

outside of that area. We have no idea where Caleb is. I mean, he could be anywhere. So no matter where you live, it is definitely helpful to share. Searches in San Antonio have occurred and they'd like to go beyond that. So the more we can spread the word, the better. Another way that you can help is by making a donation to their family's GoFundMe. A GoFundMe was created in the early days and within just one day of it being up, they raised thousands and thousands of dollars.

And their family says that this money will continue to go towards the search and rescue efforts as well as their reward. And back in March, the Harris family posted a $25,000 reward for information leading to the safe return.

of Caleb and it initially set a deadline for March 31st. That being said, when March 31st rolled around, they decided to remove the deadline and they actually doubled the reward at that point. So it currently sits at $50,000. And I will, of course, be making this week's donation towards their GoFundMe as well.

to help fund the search efforts that are currently going on. There is also a second GoFundMe that was created by friends and loved ones, and these funds will go towards helping the Harris family with any expenses that they may come across during this time. And I'm sure it goes without saying, but the cost of travel, the cost of accommodating these third-party search teams, and the general cost of eating and lodging isn't cheap, so anything would be very appreciated. And if you're able to donate...

I have both of the verified GoFundMe's linked below. And if you aren't able to make a donation, I totally understand. But one thing that you can do that is free, like I've been saying all along, is share Caleb's name and photo. Share his missing person flyer. Share this episode. Share any coverage on the case on your social media. And that will make a huge difference, especially when enough people do it. Um,

It can really, really boost an investigation. You never know who out there could see it and...

be that person that cracks this case wide open. And another thing you can do is actually physically go out and help search. Obviously, most of you won't be able to do that, but if you are in the area and you want to get involved, I know that they are looking for volunteers. Searches are still going on with the help of third-party search crews. Nina Glass, the founder of Search and Rescue San Antonio, Texas, has been coordinating efforts, and believe me,

There's no such thing as too much help. So if you want any information on how you can get involved, the Facebook page is a great resource for information. I'll have that linked below, but if you're listening, the page is called Missing...

talk of Caleb Harris, and it was actually started by a family friend in those early days after he went missing. The woman who set it up is helping monitor the group, and as you can imagine, it's a lot to field through. I mean, a lot of tips are coming in, questions, and support for the family, which is always great. But I will definitely link that below if you guys would like to check it out and stay updated on the case. Now, another thing that has happened early on in the case is that the Harris family got assistance from San Antonio private investigator Charlie Park,

And he has been advising them on several matters. And one thing that he has done is look through all of Caleb's social media to see if there were any clues there. And as far as I know, that hasn't been the case, or at least not that has been reported.

which is really, really frustrating. I mean, that's why I keep saying this case is so baffling and it truly feels like he just vanished. I mean, there's been really nothing to work with. He also tracked Caleb's license plate through license plate readers across the city, but

indicated that he had some sort of, you know, like other life that he was living in the weeks leading up to what happened. So both of these things are further proof that he didn't just disappear by choice. And I've talked a lot about their physical search efforts, but after about two weeks of searching, law enforcement actually withdrew a lot of their physical efforts and their investigation went almost entirely digital. That being said, CCPD chief Michael Markle has said that even though their investigation is not as valid,

visible as it once was, that doesn't mean that they aren't still working hard to try and find Caleb. Hello, it is Ryan, and we could all use an extra bright spot in our day, couldn't we? Texas Rangers. We have daily briefings. It's something that we've taken serious and we're going to keep moving in that direction. The technical side of this investigation is in full swing with members of the investigative team meeting two times a week to discuss new leads and plot the course of the investigation. And this team includes the Corpus Christi Criminal Investigation Division, the Organized Crime Unit...

the FBI, the Texas Rangers, the U.S. Marshal Service, as well as three forensic computer examiners and one civilian crime analyst. So clearly they have the dream team here, and they're doing everything that they can. They have acquired all of Caleb's electronics, including his iPad, his laptop, his Apple Watch, his router, Xbox. And if anything has been found from the digital searches of those things...

The public has not been made aware of it at this point, which is something that has been really difficult for the Harris family, of course. They do, of course, understand that law enforcement can't share everything that they have found if they have found other things. I mean, we're not even completely sure if they have.

But obviously it's really frustrating for them thinking that there might be clues that they don't know about. But here's what we do know, though. As of May 2nd, CCPD has issued over 82 preservation requests to social media providers, sent 63 information requests to Apple,

and served 19 subpoenas to a variety of cell phone providers. The FBI has also issued subpoenas for financial records, in addition to the U.S. Marshals, who have served seven search warrants to cell providers and various social media. And as for the forensic computer examiners, they've reviewed over 1,500 gigabytes of data, and they're continuing to go through more each day. And another thing they have been going through is all the video footage that has been collected from around the area.

However, and I'm sure you noticed this in that Snapchat photo of the bridge, it was super foggy that night. So visibility is really poor and it's hard to make out much. But that's not to say that the video footage from that day isn't helpful because it definitely is. In fact, the Harris family has been super vocal about asking people living in Corpus Christi and the surrounding areas to

to review any home security footage they have, maybe ring doorbells. So if that's you and you're out there able to pull video like that from this time, that would be greatly appreciated. I know we tend to, as humans, think that we are so insignificant, but you never know. If you live in this area, you might have a missing piece to this puzzle and not even know it. So please, if you do, take that time to check.

You could be the one to help solve this case. Another thing law enforcement has shared with the public has to do with the idea that Caleb's case might be linked to the cases of other missing young men. And truthfully, investigators don't believe at this point that there are any connections. Right now, Caleb's case stands alone, and it's definitely possible.

puzzling law enforcement, to say the least. And I know I'm just repeating myself once again, but it really doesn't seem like law enforcement has much to work with, and if they do, it hasn't been made public. I hope that if they do, for the sake of this family, it is...

brought to light eventually, pretty soon. I know that that would be very helpful to everyone, but again, if they do have that information, I understand why they have to keep a lot of that close to the vest, at least for the time being. But for as gracious and patient as this family has been, I know that new information would be

a big source of hope for them and potentially very helpful in their own efforts. I mean, the longer time goes on and the less they know, the harder this just becomes for them. So it's just a difficult situation all the way around. Now, one thing I mentioned earlier was that there was a potential sighting of Caleb. There is a man who thinks that he saw Caleb walking the dog barefoot

might I add, at 3.40 a.m. This person said it was about a mile away from his apartment. However, at this point, nothing more has been announced about this sighting. I don't know if it's credible. I mean, I don't know if anything came out of it, but I figured it was worth sharing that it was a possible sighting, not confirmed. Now we're learning of a possible sighting after Caleb's phone went dark at 3.12. The witness?

very credible person and definitely believes what he saw. Randall says a man believes he saw Caleb barefoot walking the dog near a bridge about a mile from his apartment at about 340. Extremely foggy that night. Randall says he met with the homeless community in that area and tips continue to pour in. What they're missing is a clue that gives them direction. We really don't have a true north yet. And so, you know, it's still a vanishing situation.

You know, we feel strongly that he was probably taken or kidnapped or maybe even lured into something. Leaning on faith and family, Randall prays he will see Caleb soon. You know, $50,000 reward, you know, that's a lot of money. And hopefully if somebody truly sees him or knows where he's at, we'll take advantage of that.

But really, however big or small the tip is, the Harris family and investigators are really relying on people sending incredible tips to help keep this case moving along. The family has set up a tip line where you can call if you have any information on Caleb's disappearance, and that number is 361-826-2950. You can also call Crime Stoppers at 888-TIPS-WARN.

or the Corpus Christi Police Department at 361-886-2840 or 361-886-2600. Also, if you do have a tip that you believe is credible and time sensitive, you can always just call 911. Even if you're not local, your own local authorities will be able to fast track that information to the people who need it. And if it's a matter of helping Caleb, it's worth it. As a reminder, Caleb is approximately 5'11", 180 pounds,

has brown hair and brown eyes. And I also want to note that pretty recently, as of May 29th, law enforcement officially announced that they do suspect foul play in his disappearance, not to any one single piece of evidence, but a combination of things they find to be suspicious. Specifically, they said the time of night that he is believed to have disappeared, combined with the fact that his wallet, keys, and pickup were left behind at his apartment,

And honestly, guys, and it's so hard to report on cases like this, but this case is very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very

very much active and I really don't have a way to wrap this one up with any type of conclusion for you. By the time this goes up, it will have been a little over three months since Caleb first disappeared and there are still so many questions.

left unanswered. I keep saying this, but it really feels like Caleb just vanished. I mean, it is so confusing. And obviously, there's just no world in where that is actually true. Someone has to know something. And I hope the more we talk about Caleb and his case, the better chance that we have of finding him. The Harris family really seems so strong. I know they're so grateful for all of this coverage and for all of the people out there who have really taken an interest and care

for Caleb and want answers for his family or to find him. Obviously, that's the best case scenario, but we owe it to them to make sure that his story does not die down. The local community has really been doing a lot. Like I said, most of the coverage is there, but I hope that maybe we can be

part of helping them bring this to a more national level and before i close out today i just wanted to send my best to this family to all of caleb's friends and loved ones i mean i know that he had so many because he really seemed like such a salt of the earth kind person and whatever happened to him he certainly didn't deserve and i just wanted you all to know that i'm thinking of you and i hope that this coverage has been helpful
