Wegovy, a high-dose version of Ozempic, was the first approved by the FDA for weight loss in 2021, followed by Aepbound, a new version of Mounjaro, last year.

All the drugs help with hunger by imitating hormones that would normally help regulate appetite after you eat.,

These drugs got even more attention recently when Oprah announced she was leaving the board of Weight Watchers after disclosing she was using a weight loss medication.
