American prosperity and military supremacy since the end of World War Two have made the U.S. "the world's policeman," many times being forced to intervene in global conflicts.

A Heritage Foundation report finds our military strength is not what it used to be, or needs to be, to guarantee American interests are protected.

It's edited by Heritage Foundation Senior Fellow and retired Marine Officer Dakota Wood, who started putting it out annually in 2015.

Earlier this week, Dakota Wood joined host Christ Foster to speak about the report and the growing concerns about our country's ability to deal with multiple armed conflicts ... or even a single conflict.

The interview was informative and alarming as the retired Marine discussed our military recruitment problems and our old, outdated equipment. The two also discussed the American people's concerns about Pentagon waste and whether more funding for the military is the answer.
