The American people's support for funding Ukraine's efforts against Russia has waned significantly since the war began nearly three years ago. Further complicating things, many Republicans say they will not vote for any additional foreign aid until the U.S.'s southern border is addressed.

Earlier this week, Congressman Michael Waltz (R-FL) joined host Dave Anthony to discuss why he thought backing Ukraine remains in America's interest, but also laid out why the war-torn country cannot simply receive a blank check.

Rep. Waltz also discussed the ongoing crisis in the Red Sea and how the Houthi rebels continue to attack ships and disrupt global trade.
