On Christmas day, two different Republican lawmakers were victims of an increasingly popular crime called swatting. These prank calls to police aim to send SWAT units to the victim’s home. Both Congressman Brandon Williams (R-NY) and Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) were targeted on Monday but it's not just politicians on the receiving end; everyday Americans have been swatted as well. Retired FBI special agent John Iannarelli joins the Rundown to discuss why it is often hard to track down criminals involved in swatting and how law enforcement trains to respond in those situations.

These past few years in Washington have seen countless political newcomers and outsiders enter the scene and have big impacts on Capitol Hill. In a 2022 Alabama special election, Katie Britt won a decisive victory, becoming the youngest Republican woman elected to the Senate. Since then, she has been widely considered a rising star within Congress. On the FOX News Rundown, we revisit Mike Emanuel’s interview with Senator Katie Britt (R-AL) about her opposition to a ceasefire in the Israel-Hamas war, her belief that the Biden administration has failed to recognize the ongoing border crisis, and the importance of inspiring the next generation.
