An Iranian-backed militia has claimed responsibility for a drone attack on an American military base near the border of Jordan and Iraq. There has been an uptick on attacks on U.S. bases in the Mideast since the terror attack on Israel by Hamas. The U.S.S. Carney shot down fifteen drones and at least four cruise missiles in the past week as fears of a wider war intensifies.
