Eight House Republicans voted to remove McCarthy, with House Democrats unanimously following suit. With the unprecedented vacancy, now acting Speaker, Congressman Patrick McHenry (R-NC), has declared a recess until both parties can agree on how to move forward. On the Rundown, Congressman Tim Burchett (R-TN), one of the few Republicans to vote against McCarthy, shares the reasoning behind his decision, why he believes this change was necessary, and who may be tapped to fill this high position.
