EP 77 : Work-From-Love: Coffee Breaks & Conference Calls (Part 03) 15:48

Namaste friends and welcome to Dil Se Dil Tak. I am Khushi. In the last two episodes, I introduced you to Riya and Amit's story. Do you remember? Both of them started working together on a mobile app development project because of work from home.

Their conversation started during the work and the interest in photography slowly arose. By walking around together and taking pictures, a special relationship began between them.

In the last episode, Riya and Amit went on a weekend trip together. After enjoying the mountains, taking photographs and the village environment, Amit wanted to say something when he was stuck in traffic jam during his return. But due to traffic, his words were incomplete. Today's story goes on from there.

Amit drove the car ahead when the traffic jam was a little less. But his words remained incomplete. Rhea was feeling very restless. After some time, Rhea asked with courage, Amit, what did you want to say? Amit said a little scared, Rhea, this weekend was really special. I really liked your company. Rhea smiled and said,

I also liked it very much. The fun of roaming and photographing in your company is something else. After a while of silence, Amit said again, Ria, I don't know if this is just the work from home effect or something else, but I got a message from you on Ria's phone. The message was from her boss.

The boss had written that there is an important meeting tomorrow in which all the team members have to be virtually present. Riya showed Amit a message and said, "I think we have to prepare for the meeting tomorrow." Amit said a little disappointed, "Yes, okay, but the matter is incomplete." Riya smiled and said, "No problem, we'll talk later." After reaching home, Riya started preparing for the meeting.

But Amit's incomplete thoughts were running in her mind. The next day, there was a virtual meeting. During the meeting, Rhea's attention suddenly went to Amit. She was looking at him closely over the screen. She felt that Amit was also looking at her in the same way. After the meeting ended, Rhea suddenly remembered that in the evening she was going to a party at a friend's house of her college.

At the party, Rhea told her friends about the mountain trips and showed them some pictures. The friends praised Rhea after seeing the pictures. After the party ended, Rhea returned home. Before going to sleep at night, she suddenly felt lonely. She felt that maybe she was lacking Amit. She thought that now even work from home is not fun.

Earlier, Amit would talk to her during virtual meetings and conference calls. But now, there was no excuse left to talk after the meeting ended. Suddenly, she came up with an idea. She thought why not ask Amit some questions about photography. She thought at least the conversation between the two of them would start.

Immediately, she picked up the mobile and wrote a message to Amit. Amit, tell me how light painting photography is done? I want to try it. Amit's answer came in a short time. Light painting photography is a little difficult, Riya, but it is also very interesting. If you really want to try it, I can tell you.

Riya was happy. She wrote, "Yes, tell me. I have some knowledge about light painting, but I am not able to understand the whole process." Amit told in detail how to keep camera settings for light painting photography, what kind of lights should be used and how to take photos. He also sent Riya some online tutorial links.

Riya thanked Amit and told him that she will try to do light painting soon. For the next few days, Riya and Amit kept chatting about light painting photography. Amit also taught Riya some easy light painting patterns. One evening, Riya told Amit that she tried to do light painting photography in the balcony of the house.

She sent him some of her pictures. The pictures were not perfect, but Amit praised them and gave some suggestions to Rhea. That night, Rhea and Amit kept chatting late at night. The conversation was not limited to photography alone. They talked about their childhood memories, their hobbies, and their likes and dislikes. Gradually, there was a depth in their conversation.

he was feeling that they have started to know each other. After a few days, Amit was suddenly called to the office. Work from home was over.

Rhea felt a little disappointed after knowing this. She felt strange. She felt that she had become so used to talking to Amit that now she feels lonely without him. She used to wait for Amit's message every morning. She used to yearn to see him in the evening during virtual meetings. Maybe she had realized that she had started feeling something special for Amit.

A week later, Amit messaged Riya. Riya, I don't have time to talk to you because I have to go to office. But I miss you a lot. Riya's heart was happy. She replied, I miss you too, Amit. After some time, Amit messaged again. Riya, do you think we can go on a virtual date sometime?

Rhea was shocked. She didn't even think that Amit would ask her to go on a virtual date. After thinking for a while, she wrote, "Yes, Amit, why not? We can go on a virtual date." That day Rhea was very happy. She thought that maybe she could get love even from this distance of work from home.

Friends, Riya's happiness increased when Amit told her the plan for the virtual date. They decided to have a virtual date on Friday evening. Riya spent the whole week preparing for the virtual date. She decorated the house, lit some candles and wore a nice dress for herself.

On Friday evening, Ria sat in front of the laptop before time. She was eager to see Amit. In a short while, Amit's video call came. Ria connected the call and smiled at Amit on the screen. Amit was also well prepared. The two asked each other about each other's condition. Then Amit praised the decoration of Ria's house. Ria also praised the painting on Amit's background.

After a while, Amit said, "Riya, you are a very good photographer. Your photos have a different magic." Riya said, "Thank you, Amit. I am encouraged by your compliments." Suddenly, Amit said in a slightly serious voice, "Riya, you have become a very good friend of mine in these days of work from home."

But I don't want to be just your friend. Rhea's breath stopped. She knew what Amit wanted to say. Her heart started beating fast. Amit said after a little hiccup, Rhea, I think I'm in love with you. Rhea couldn't say anything. She was surrounded by joy, surprise and shame. After a while, Amit said,

I know this might be hasty but I wanted to tell you what I really felt. Riya said softly, Amit, I too

Before that, Riya's laptop battery suddenly ran out. The screen sank into the darkness. Riya was disappointed and shouted, "No!" She immediately started looking for the charger. She thought that maybe the laptop would start when the charger was installed and she would be able to complete her task with Amit. But fate had something else in mind. It took her a long time to find the charger.

Amit's video call was cut until he started the laptop with the charger. Riya got very angry at herself. She thought what kind of time it was to say her thing. She couldn't sleep the whole night. She was worried that Amit also loves her.

The next morning, Rhea messaged Amit and apologized and told him about the whole night's incident. She also wrote that she has fallen in love with Amit. Amit replied in a short time, "Rhea, I also love you. Yesterday night's connection was broken, but my love did not break." Rhea happily waved. She replied, "I also love you, Amit."

In this way, the love between Rhea and Amit started at work from home. They didn't know where their love would go, but at least they were happy. That's all for today.
