Namaste friends and welcome to Dil Se Dil Tak. I am Khushi. Today's story begins with the busy streets of Mumbai. December 2019. Christmas is all around. The lights are flickering on the roads. The sounds of carols are coming from the streets. And there is a celebration atmosphere in the air.

Ria is filled with this enthusiasm. A girl filled with enthusiasm who has recently joined a big IT company as a junior programmer. Ria liked the company's atmosphere very much. The funny jokes that happened before the colleagues, during lunch break, ideas exchanged in team meetings, all of these filled her with enthusiasm. The atmosphere of the office seemed like home to her.

Amit used to work in a different department of the same company. Amit was a senior developer. He also liked to work with his team in the office. He used to often see Riya after leaving the office in the evening. Riya's enthusiasm and passion for work impressed him.

Then came that year, 2020. The corona pandemic took the whole world under its wing. The office was closed and Riya and Amit along with thousands of people had to work from home. In the beginning, Riya found this change difficult. The excitement of the office, the talk of lunch break with colleagues, all of this was left behind. Working alone at home seemed a bit boring in the beginning.

The same excitement was no longer there in Riya. Amit also had a hard time getting work from home. He had to suffer the loss of direct connection with his teammates. A few weeks later, the company got a project to develop a new mobile app. This project was quite big and employees were selected from different departments for it. Riya was included in this project due to her coding skills.

At the start of the project, there was a virtual meeting between the two departments. Rhea saw Amit for the first time through the computer screen. Her calm smile and confident voice impressed Rhea. Amit's team was working on the front-end design of the app in this project, while Rhea's team was handling the back-end development.

In the coming days, Rhea and Amit would constantly be in virtual meetings and conference calls. The conversation between them was limited to work only. Rhea had to write a code for special functions and this code had to be discussed with Amit to fit it in the app's design. Their conversation also revolved around it.

One day, after discussing the project and even after the conference call ended, Rhea and Amit remained on the screen. For a while, they remained silent. Then Amit said, "Looks like work from home has some benefits too. At least, we are saved from getting stuck in traffic for meetings." Rhea smiled lightly and said, "Yes, that's fine. But the office's excitement and the team lunch's lack of conversation.

Amit said with a smile, "Absolutely. Sometimes I even remember watching cricket with the team." After a short conversation, Rhea turned off the screen. She thought that in this work-from-home environment, a light conversation with the team also looks good.

The next day, during work, Rhea suddenly realized that she had missed a coffee break. In the office, she always took a coffee break with her team. She thought that maybe it is necessary to make some routine in work from home. She thought that she too would make tea or coffee at a fixed time and give herself a small break.

After finishing the work in the evening, Riya made tea and sat in the balcony. She saw everything around her. The light of the surrounding buildings, the sound of cars coming from far away, and some birds flying in the sky. All these reminded her of her childhood days. She thought that maybe one of the benefits of work from home is that she is able to see the environment around her again.

Suddenly, he saw an old camera in the corner of the balcony. This camera belonged to him from college when he was very fond of photography. He didn't get time to pick up the camera in his busy life. He thought that maybe some good pictures can be taken in the evening. He picked up the camera and started taking pictures of the surroundings.

He captured the swaying leaves of the trees nearby, the changing colours of the sky after sunset, and the stars shining on the roof at night in his camera. He liked the photography. It was a good change. A good way to break the boredom of work from home. The next morning, after the virtual meeting, Riya asked Amit,

"Do you like photography?" Amit said with a little shock. "No, I don't have any particular interest in photography, but I do like to see pictures." Ria smiled and said, "I took some pictures last night. I wanted to show you." Amit said with interest, "Surely show me." The two took a coffee break and Ria showed Amit the pictures she had taken yesterday.

Amit was impressed by the photos. He said, "These are very good photos, Ria. You have the qualities of a great photographer." Ria was happy to hear Amit's words. She thought that maybe something new can be learned in this era of work from home. Something new can be discovered.

After finishing the work in the evening, Riya stood in the balcony and saw the sunset. She thought this scene was worth capturing in the camera. She picked up the camera and captured the mixture of red, orange and purple colors of the sunset. While pulling the picture, she suddenly remembered Amit's words. You have the quality of being an excellent photographer.

Rhea smiled. Maybe Amit's words are true. Maybe even in this life of work from home, she has got a chance to awaken her old hobby. Then a message came on her mobile screen. It was of Amit. It was written in the message. Today's pictures were very good, Rhea. Especially the sunset one. It seems you are good at capturing the evening views.

Ria smiled and replied, "Thank you Amit, your praise was good." This small message made Ria's day a happy one. She felt that this new environment of work from home is not that bad. It is also giving her a chance to learn new things and new things. For a few days, Ria photographed the evening.

She captured the different things around her in the camera. Drenched trees from the rain drops, winding roads at night, and kids playing in the park. Her photography was getting more and more prominent with every picture. One Friday evening, Riya was roaming in the park with the camera.

Suddenly, she saw an old couple walking slowly holding hands. They had a beautiful smile on their faces, which was a testimony of their long-time love. Riya liked this sight very much. She immediately took the camera and took a picture of them. After taking the picture, she talked to the couple with courage.

He told her that he is married for 50 years and comes to this park every evening to walk. Hearing her story, Riya's heart was happy. She thought that maybe this is the real beauty of life. Love, company and happiness. After returning home in the evening, Riya sent the picture of that old couple to Amit. It was written together:

Today, he met this beautiful couple in the park. Hearing their story, he was happy. Amit's reply came in a short time. "It's a very lovely picture, Ria. And yes, love and companionship is the real truth of life." Ria smiled and replied, "Absolutely." Even at this distance from work from home, Ria and Amit had a special relationship.

Photography and small messages were making a bridge between them. Perhaps this was the beginning of love, which was being born in a virtual world, between coffee breaks and conference calls.
