Now, live, right across Australia, the continuous Colt team. Last play now, Storm. Come and house a little. Oh, caught in the outfield. Beautiful play. Anderson will go in.

With Mark Levy, Daryl Broman, Mark Riddell and Neil Breen. It's been an extraordinary day with this outage that's affected millions of people over the last few hours. Are you going to be okay? Me? Yeah. What do you mean?

Well, I just heard plenty of fish is down. How does that one work? Let's get to some callers. Jono's first up at Mount Isaac. G'day, Jono. Yeah, mate, I just thought I'd call in and I thought you'd had a good call tonight and, um,

Yeah, how about the Blues on Wednesday? It was bloody unbelievable. Hey, Jono. Coming up here in Queensland, mate, they fairly give it to us, so I thought it was great. Jono, now be honest with Piggy, all right? Be honest with me. Have you had a couple tonight? No, no.

Only a couple. LAUGHTER Life, sport and laughter, right across your weekend. 11 gone first half for Lowe's Men's Wear. They're all over him like calamine lotion leaving the Canberra Raiders. It was all too easy. It was almost like a training try. Piggy's right, that was way too easy. It looked like a training run there. The gap just opened and he went straight through it like an XPT through fast. Hey, listen, drop off, you two. LAUGHTER

You've gone off. You've gone off. He's not his mate of friends, is he? No, not until Tuesday. Oh, I thought he was gone. There's spies everywhere. The Continuous Call Team. Thanks to Maccas, Harvey Norman, Ram Trucks, Ducks Hot Water, All.com, Brydon's Lawyers, Uber, Lowe's, 1-800-GOT-JUNK, Westpac and Coles.

Mate, the amount of times my missus has stormed the bed with 10 to go. This always happens. I'm sick of this. Does she wear a blue scarf? She wasn't even watching the footing. No, that happens 10 seconds after you get to bed. Oh, baby! 10 seconds. That seems like you might have got the okay as well. Give yourself a wrap.

And now on 2GB Sydney, 4BC Brisbane and network stations across Australia, it's time for the Continuous Call Team. Yes, good afternoon, ladies and gentlemen. Welcome along to the McDonald's Interactive Studio for a big Sunday afternoon of Rugby League as we wrap up round 21 of the NRL. It kicks off...

In an hour from now at Wynn Stadium in Wollongong where we've got the NRLW continuing. 23 minutes left in the second half. Gold Coast 14 leading St. George, Illawarra 4. At 2 o'clock, the Dragons up against the reigning premiers, the Panthers. That'll be followed by the game that Chris Warren will be on deck with Daryl and Piggy to call the Dolphins and the Gold Coast Titans.

And then later on tonight, the Canberra Raiders taking on the South Sydney Rabbitohs. Of course, Jack Whiten heading back to the nation's capital there with the Bunnies to take on the Green Machine. In the three games played yesterday, what about this resurgent from the Bulldogs? 41 points to 16. Here's a question for you off the top of the program. How many of you had them playing finals footy in 2024? I certainly didn't. I thought they'd be a much improved side, but...

They are on fire. 41-16 over the Brisbane Broncos. The North Queensland Cowboys beat a very ordinary Sharks outfit last night, 30 points to 22. And the Roosters, they held on for a 34-30 win over the Manly Seagulls. And look, admittedly, I didn't get to see that game last night, but I have read a few of the comments from Anthony Seabold in relation to a hit from Michael Jennings on Jason Saab. No action was taken on field by the referees.

Anthony Seabold is of the opinion that Jennings should have been sent to the sin bin at least. And it would indicate the charge sheet today from the match review committee that he's probably got a case to make. And that is Michael Jennings, a careless high tackle, and he's facing two, potentially three matches on the sideline. So if you saw that one, you can have your say this afternoon on 131873. You can email us via the websites where you click onto the feedback icon and you can text us.

0460 873 873. And we're all still buzzing off the back of the first official night of competition. How about the swimmers? Grace Brown in cycling, absolutely phenomenal. And it continues later on tonight. So we'll have our Olympic coverage getting underway from 7 o'clock with the second competition

Day of Heats before we launch into a whole range of things. The Matildas up against their opponents. We've got Team USA in basketball. It is going to be must listen and must watch day two of the Olympic Games in Paris. Let's welcome the team. Daryl Broman, Neil Breen and Mark Piggy-Riddell. Big man, good afternoon to you. Levi, good afternoon to you and congratulations. I'm like you, I'm a little bit weary today due to the fact that I...

I actually got up. Well, I didn't get up. I laid in bed and listened to your great coverage last night. It was brilliant stuff. So it does take a bit out of you. I know you've got your own bed in...

In the studio in here later on. You should have stayed in there last night. Did you sleep in here last night or not? Well, I left at 4.30 this morning. 4.30, okay. Well, you're probably tired as well, so that's two of us. We gave our guys yesterday. There is an issue. I was just telling John Stanley. What? Management's booked me a little hotel up the road, which is fantastic. Is that the one where you can, like, what are those ones called? Formula 1. Formula 1s? Yeah.

It's per hour. We'll put it this way. How much is it per hour, Pinky? I'm not sure these days. We'll put it this way. The concierge this morning, when I couldn't work out how to get into the joint, I think he deserves a job at the Formula E one because he would refuse to help me. So anyway, I got in eventually.

Got plenty of sleep and we're ready to rock and roll. Hang on, hang on, hang on. He got drunk with the concierge. He got a spray, didn't he? Yeah, he copped a spray. Oh, I knew it. Well, mate, when you're standing on Harris Street in the freezing cold trying to work out how to get into the joint and he's giving you a bum steer and you're walking like blocks to try and find an entrance to a hotel, I think I'm entitled to, aren't I?

You should have just stayed here, mate. We've brought in a beautiful lounge for you to sleep on. I'll be having a little snooze there later tonight. I saw a blanket in there as well. Did you really? There's a blankie in there. Well, I didn't use a blanket. There's a blankie in there. Is there like a basin to wash your teeth with and stuff? No, you can go and do that in the bathroom. In the toilet. In the bathroom. Don't worry. Anyway, it's great to be here. Mate, at the London Olympics, some of our friends in the International Broadcast Centre were heating up their noodles and eating them from the basins in the toilets.

So I wouldn't be worried about all that. Yeah, yeah. They must have been steaming hot toilets. A few of our colleagues, we didn't have to go far if you had food poisoning, put it that way. Anyway, it's great to be here today, Levy. There's three games today, as we all know, and they all mean something. I mean, all games mean something, but these in particular do because there's a number of sides...

trying to either cling on to spots in the eight or to get to the eight. And maybe we'll have a clearer picture at the end of today, but maybe not. I think there's still five games to go, five weeks to go of football. So it will go right down to the wire, no doubt. But

Last night, myself, Jamie Soward called last night. He did a great job. We did the Sharks and the Cowboys. Cowboys won again. I think the Sharks, given the fact that the Cowboys had two players out of the game in the first half, the Sharks should have beaten them. Cowboys have found this way of beating sides when they probably don't play all that great. They did last week, I thought, against the Bulldogs. I thought they were a bit lucky to beat the Bulldogs last week.

And last night, I wouldn't say they were lucky to beat the Sharks, but the Sharks didn't play particularly well.

And the Cowboys are now, well, they're in the eight. And, you know, they look dangerous, don't they? Because they've got a number of players who are starting to find a bit of form. They've got to buy up their sleeve as well. The Cowboys are one of those sides that have got to buy in that last sort of five or six weeks. They'll be crucial to them. They'll give them a break as well, particularly when they've got a number of state of origin players. And then off the back of what you just said, they lost Tamalolo and Cotter. So, you know, they'll have a buy coming up. Yeah.

Very nice. Piggy, on the way to you, as a so good afternoon to you, am I right in saying that your household has been inspired by some of the Olympic performers overnight? And Big Willis, who has now been referred to as Big Willis, young William, is how old is he, 11? He's 10. He's 10 on Friday. 10. Happy birthday, Big Willis. Is his...

Is he attempting to become maybe Australia's next gold medalist in fencing? Fencing, yeah. Good afternoon, Mark. Good afternoon, Brini, Big Man, and to our listeners. Yeah, we were like, I think, a lot of families last night, watching a little bit of the footy in the afternoon, waiting for the Olympics to start. But then as Channel 9's coverage comes up with the screen and it's got, you know, it had the basketball last night, then it had the swimming, it had the diving, and then it had the...

had the fencing and we were getting into arguments, Big Willis and I, because he's like, Dad, put it on the fencing. I'm like, no way in the world. No offence to fencing, but we've got the swimming coming up. I'm watching that every day of the week, the swimming. And then the basketball was on, I think, nine now.

But he goes to me, Dad, put it on the fencing. I love big swords. Are you serious? Is that why you call him Big Willis? His new nickname, Dad, shall I? It might be Big Sword. I'm like, mate, no offence, but I'm not putting it on the fencing. We're watching the swimming, okay? So we put it on the swimming. Yeah.

But then he, but you know what, to his credit, he wanted to set the alarm for 4am and get up and watch the swimming and watch the finals and everything. So we watched it all and watched it all again this morning on replay. So no,

No, it was good. I'm enjoying it. I love the swimming. I did a bit of... How good are the Olympics? I did a bit of table tennis this morning. That was fun. I did the surfing, pulled the curtain down in the green room, all that sort of stuff. Oh, really? Catching a left to right. The Aussies are doing well. Well, it's only early days, but the good thing is because the two Australian men finish top of their heats, they go straight through to the third round. So they don't have to worry about second round. So they just go straight through. So that's...

Really, really good news there. Nice. One man who's covered plenty of Olympic Games, and he'll be hosting the show a little bit later on when I catch a few Zeds prior to the Olympics. Is that over in their studio? Yes, Daryl. That'll be over there in the little lounge area, okay? You're banned from going in there when he's catching Zeds, too. Well, it just happened. That's my way to get to the car, so I might just give him a little, you know. Is there a little knock and run? See you leaving. Have a good sleep.

Cup of water leaned up against the door. Open up. It's the big man. I'm tired. Yeah, you would do, wouldn't you? And I might come out and headbutt you. Oh, come on, Levy. Pretty afternoon to you. How are you, Mark Levy? You know, you're telling that story about at the London Olympics, there were journos making their cup of soup in the toilet. At the Beijing Olympics, everywhere you went...

...was a local volunteer, a Chinese volunteer. You couldn't move for there being a volunteer. And we were in the main press centre at the time. I was working at News Corp...

every time you went to the men's room, you opened the door and there was a smiling Chinaman there, like, hello, and opened the door for you and would show you where the toilets were. And after about day five, and then you'd come back out and then you'd be washing your hands and he'd be standing next to you with a paper towel with a smile on his face and he'd hand it to you and as you took it over, he'd go, you like China? I'm going to love it.

The best joint I've ever been to. Anyway, after about day five, the same... After about day five, I said...

Champion, I love China, but I got doing a piss cupboard. You know what I mean? I understand. I pretty much got this bit covered. Just let me tighten that belt for you, mate. The great thing about the Olympics is just the raw enthusiasm of everyone who's there. So lucky enough to do Sydney, Beijing, London. I know you were there, Levy. In London, I had lunch with Davey nearly every day.

in the big dining room and you'd walk in and he'd bellow your name. Oh, Neil Breen from Newscore, boy, you blokes had a big story this morning. Oh, jeez. Mate, I'm just trying to get a sandwich. Anyway, they're great. The camaraderie, the whole thing about it. I got up early this morning. I watched all the swimming finals. Ariane Titmuss is a weapon. It

Look, I know... Is she favourite in the 200? She's favourite in the 200, but Molly O'Callaghan, the other Queenslander, the girl from Rockhampton who trains out of Brisbane now, she'll be very hard to beat. If she wins it, Titmus, that'll be four individual Olympic gold medals. I know Emma McKeon got to six gold medals, breaking Ian Thorpe's record overnight of five gold medals. A lot of them are real. Emma McKeon's been an unbelievable athlete for Australia.

I think if she wins the 200, she's our greatest ever Olympian. I know the Dawn thing, though, with the three in a row in the 100 is hard to knock back. But she's unbelievable, Titmus. Didn't she just outweapon them? You know who swam well this morning? I'll get to you discovering in a sec. Was in the men's 4x100. We got that silver medal. A little bit unexpected behind the Americans. It was a great swim. Everyone's talking about Kyle Chalmers. But Hayley Lewis' son, Kai Taylor, swam the third leg. Nailed it.

And he was a bit disappointed after the trials. He wanted an individual swim, but he's obviously been burning it up because they left him out of the heat and put him straight in the final. And he put him in medal position. He only found out that afternoon that he was swimming in the final. And, mate, he was unreal. I text Hayley because she's a good friend of the Continuous Call team and 4BC Hayley out of Brisbane. She loves us, does she? Loves it. We used to have her on our show on Macquarie Sports, you and I. Did we? Yeah. She's the best, Hayley Lewis.

Absolute enthusiast. Did we? And a Queenslander. Yeah, I'm pretty sure we did, mate. Yes, she's a Queenslander. Just on our own. On a couple of occasions, yeah. I mean, a lot of people forget this, but how many years ago was it, Piggy? Oh, it's years ago. I think about eight years ago, probably a couple of Olympics ago, where I actually discovered her. I was doing a bit of research, and I discovered she was going to be a very good swimmer. And look...

I don't want to speak ill of those who have passed on, but Davo tried to claim it was his. Oh. David Morrow. One of those, was it? Well, he said, what?

I knew about Ariane before you did. I said, I don't think you did. I don't think you did. So that was the cause of great discussion. How did you discover her at the Tasmanian Age Championships or something when she was a kid? No, I discovered her because I was listening to Dave-O talk about her. Oh, right. Yeah, okay. Yeah, right. That makes sense. We are underway on this Sunday here.

But I got it in before he did. It was just brilliant work. You know, when we do, you just reminded me of something. You know what else he used to do, Darryl? So we'd go for McDonald's and all that. We'd do the tip, the first try score, the player watch and all that sort of thing. So I'd always go Darryl first, Piggy second, and then Davey.

So Darryl would always look at what Davey's written down because he's always about preparation. So he's had, play to watch. We'll do this one. First try, so we'll do this one. And then Darryl, Will Warbrick, play to watch. And then Davey goes, grrrr.

Hey, I know everyone had a tough day on Thursday at Davies Funeral, and I wasn't there because I went up to Queensland for Mike Coleman's funeral, which was early on Friday morning in Brisbane. Yeah, and I just wanted to pay tribute to Mike and his wife, Linda, and their three surviving children. They had a deceased daughter as well. It's been a tough time for the family.

But Mike Coleman was a famous journalist, a magnificent Olympics writer, a magnificent writer at full stop. He became famous in the early 90s because he wrote the book The Strife and Times of Fatty Voughton, which sold, which is the funniest book you've ever read in your life.

It sold 80,000 copies, which for a book was massive, and it was the Australian record at the time for a sports book. It eventually got beaten by Steve Crawley did a book on Wayne Bennett and then I think Steve Waugh's biography. I think there's another on Big Man's Barbecue. Oh, no, no, no, no. That came in at 79,900. But anyway, Mike Coleman, he was a great man, and we farewelled him on Friday. He had a long illness, and we wish Linda and his family all the best.

Very, very well said, Brady. Thank you very much. 131873 is the number to ring. You can email us via the website. You can text us as well, 0460873873. We'll take a break and come back with plenty more.

Well, one thing that I have said over the last few weeks, and I think more needs to be made of it, and that is the rise and rise of the Bulldogs. After a disappointing season last year and a really, really tough time for the club in recent years, of course, Cameron Serraldo made the move from the Penrith Panthers. He recruited a whole heap of players with, of course, the assistance of Phil Gould, the head of football at the Kennel in Belmore. And have a look at them go. They're fifth overall.

on the ladder at the moment. Their one went outside the top four and they absolutely thumped the Brisbane Broncos yesterday afternoon at Suncorp Stadium in front of a great crowd of 43,000 and they did it without Stephen Crichton. Their coach is Cameron Serraldo and I'm pleased to say he joins us on the line. G'day coach.

Hi, guys. How are you? Mate, really well. Congratulations on the win, but also on this rise and rise of the Bulldogs. You as the coach, it must be fulfilling knowing that all this hard work's really paying off.

Yeah, it is. I've got to say it's fulfilling going to work every day with a great group of guys who love each other's company and want to work hard. The wins along the way are really good moments to celebrate, but I'm honestly just enjoying going to work every day. Hey, Sarah, I know you're a defence-based coach and you want your team defending extremely well, but

Mate, yesterday watching you blokes and the way you attacked, in particular, attacked their edges with the football. You guys changed a little bit up there with your attack?

Yeah, look, we put a lot of work into our defence to start the season and with a new team coming together, I think we had 10 new recruits, new coaching staff. We knew our attack was going to take time to evolve. We had to figure out what was going to work for us and what we did well and what didn't work for us. And I think over the first probably 19 rounds, we discovered that. We had three really hard games against the Roosters, the Sharks and the Warriors and

and got a chance to go to a buy and figure out what we'd done well in the season, what we needed to improve. And clearly there were some things in our attack we needed to improve. You know, with games we played well, we've been able to move the ball a lot and get the ball in guys' hands who needed it. And we were able to work on that over the buy. And then against the Cowboys, you know, Reid and Berto were in the origin camp, so they only had really one captain's run with us to...

get it going and we were a little bit clunky against the Cowboys although I thought we played really well we were a bit away from Bailey Hayward scoring a try and going out to a bit of a lead there but we were still clunky and we looked at that game and saw some opportunities where we'd

We didn't quite get our footy on, but yesterday we went to Suncorp really confident. Three o'clock game at Suncorp. We knew we were going to have an opportunity to move the ball around. It was awesome to see the boys put the plan into place and stick to it for the best part of 80 minutes. Hey Cameron, it's Neil Breen here. I was out of Belmore several weeks ago now and I managed to watch a little bit of training. I was doing an interview with Phil Gould out there.

And we were talking about the team and yourself and everything. And he said to me, the real focus this year, talking about defence, was stop the matches where the Bulldogs really hemorrhage points. And that happened a couple of times last year. And I sit here now, you know, several weeks down the track, and you've got the second best defensive record in the whole of the NRL behind the Panthers. You must be unbelievably proud that you've been able to put that sort of defensive structure together.

Yeah, I am. It's a lot of hard work going into it from our coaching staff, but our players, they're the ones that have to go out there and live and breathe it every day in every session. They've just worked so hard. But we can get so much better. I think back to some of the trials we've let in. We probably won a game where we're just like, where did we let that one in? So yesterday, probably our third try, the back end of the game was one of those tries. So

Well, I'm really happy with where we've gotten to with our defence. I only see improvement left in us, so I want to keep chasing that improvement over the next seven weeks. If we can keep improving with the ball as well, then we're going to put ourselves in a really good position at the back end of the year. Mate, we see a lot of your games, and I'm impressed by a number of your players. I think you've got a lot of players who are...

fringe really good players but there's a bloke I must admit until this year I'd never heard of him Bailey Haywood jeez I like the style that he plays I like his ball playing ability he's only a small bloke but jeez he's tough he's a good player he played halfback up until the start of pre-season so he's a really great halfback last year um

Yeah, in pre-season, he probably was down the pecking order in halves and he just got thrown into hooker a little bit. Come saw me, he just said, you know, what position do I think is best? And we agreed sort of hooker and lock were sort of opportunities there to just get some reps in at training. And he just

He just became this guy in the middle that's just like glue. He's one of our best communicators. He understands our systems as well as anyone in our club. And he was a leader before he even debuted in first grade. Like, he just...

He's just got an ability to lead people and say the right thing at the right time. And he's just such a tough kid. He comes from a tough family. Yeah, we absolutely love him. And he's just been so important to our team this year. And he was starting games there for us. And, you know, we sort of had a period there, you know, just before halftime we were struggling. So we decided he was the guy we wanted to come off the bench and lift our tempo during that time. And he's definitely done that the last few weeks. I thought Kurt Mann coming into the starting team has given us some

some real experience there to start games and then Bailey Haywood coming off the bench gives us a lot of energy and I feel like our footy's improved just with those subtle changes.

And just one last one, Cam, before we let you go. Stephen Crichton wasn't there yesterday. And I must admit, last week when we saw him sort of lose feeling in that arm, we sort of all took a big deep breath. We were hoping it was nothing serious. So we'd love an update on your skipper. And also Josh Addo-Karr, there's a bit of talk he's a chance of playing next week. Can you bring us up to date?

Yeah, both guys are a big chance of playing on Sunday at Belmore, which is going to be a really special day for us. Yeah, Stephen, it was more than just hold your breath when Stephen went down there. It didn't look great. I've got to say what a tough effort it was for him to stay on the field against the Cowboys, just show what type of a leader he is. But once he got scans and we sort of saw the doctor, it looks like a 10-day injury just to get some rest into it, which probably isn't a bad thing for him post-origin anyway. So we're

made the decision to keep him out of the game against the Broncos and get him ready for the last six games of the season which will be really important to us there and Fox has ticked every box in his rehab now and we're hoping to get him back for Sunday again really excited about playing at Belmore this Sunday we're going to have a packed house there and

A lot of support from Bulldogs fans. So to have those two guys back on deck is going to be really important for us too. All right, Cameron, just before you go, look, Darrell's too humble to say this, but he lives in the Shire. Year the Sharks won the premiership, he was invited in and spoke to the players and had a bite to eat with them. He's one of the great Bulldogs of the past. So if you need any help in the finals, I'm just offering his services because he's too humble to offer them himself. Actually, I know where he lives and Port Hacking Seafood's on the way.

which is a really good place to stop. They've got great burgers and chips. Do you ever go there, Cameron? No, I don't actually. You need to get there. It's a very good place. Well, actually, Levy's got a restaurant as well. No, I wish I had a card or something. You did, did you? Free hot chips for life. No, that was somewhere else. That was Natara. That stopped. That's gone. Was that Natara's? It was Natara's. Anyway, good on you, Cameron. Appreciate you joining us on this Sunday, mate. Go well.

Thanks, guys. See you later. Good on you, buddy. We'll see you down the Shire. That's Cameron Serraldo, the head coach of the Bulldogs, and they are flying. 41 points to 16. Just quickly, Darrell, I'll go to you as the former Bulldog here. Are they a team capable of doing some damage in the finals? I think so. They've developed. They've developed very well. One of their problems, I thought, and I haven't really closely looked at it, was the fact that they couldn't really score points, but they could stop them. And that's probably...

something that's been ingrained in the Bulldogs for decades and decades. They're always a tough, uncompromising side who could stop other side's scoring points and then maybe just bully them into...

allowing them to actually go and score points. So I like the look of what I'm seeing with them. I think he's done a great job with them. I think this is his second or third year there. I'm not sure what it is, second year. But their improvement this year is incredible. You know, they bought a lot of good players who you knew they were going to eventually click

together. They've got a lot of the boys from Penrith, and we all know that, but he's got other blokes there. Reid Marnie's a quality player. He's a terrific player. They've got these other boys that have come out of really nowhere, like Jacob Preston. What a player he is. Jacob Carraz. I mean, I think he's from Newcastle. They bought some players who were just good players, and he's formed into a really good unit. Josh Curran's been good. Absolutely. Their aside, I think you'd be a little bit

Not intimidated by, but you'd be a little bit worried about, I reckon. They can play. What do you think, Pete? No, I think they can play. I think they're the real deal. You know, off the back of that, as long as they keep their key players injury-free, which is what all the sides have got to do. But if they can do that, the way they're playing, there's no doubt that they can... They're a chance of making the top four if they continue. I just had a look at their draw. They're playing teams that are all in and around them over the next five or six weeks, so...

Destiny, it's in their hands. They can well and truly get a top four spot. See, they're playing at Belmore next week. That'll be sold out. Playing Canberra. See, that's a game. They can't let that slip. They've got to beat Canberra. You've got to win. You've got to win against Canberra at home. Yep. You've got to. Can I ask this question?

So we go through this dipsy doodle of coach of the year at the Dalliams every year. Could he win it, Cameron Serrato? No doubt. He should. Coach of the year? Yeah. Oh, he'd be in the running. I don't think there's any doubt about that. You know, he's done a great job. The raps on him have been huge for a number of years. Huge. A number of years. And there was a lot of clubs chasing him, and he decided to go to the Bulldogs, and I don't know why. But, you know, Gus being there would have, I think, played a part in it.

I reckon it was the free reign. I reckon Gus being there because they were so in the doldrums, the free reign to rebuild. It's not encumbered with the problems like the West Tigers are. You know, they've sort of train here, play there, play there, play there. You know what I mean? They're the Bulldogs of Belderwall, right? Yep. All right. There we are. So Cameron Serrato, the Bulldogs 41, points to 16, winners 14.

over the Brisbane Broncos. 131873. You can email us via the websites and you can text us 0460 873 873. Tommy says, I thought the big mum was going to claim Ariane Titmuss as a Queenslander because she moved up there. Where is Launceston? That's in Queensland. I think she's a Queenslander. She's been in Queensland for ages. If you asked her...

Training at St. Peter's Lutheran College. She follows in rugby league. She'd be following the Queenslanders. No doubt. She's a Queenslander. She was born in Tassie. She's not a Queenslander. You know why she went up there? To better herself. To a golden place. She's a Tasmanian. To better herself. You know what? I reckon you'll end up there, Levy, after you've said your restaurant. Your mum lives there. All I'm going to say to you two dribblers is this. Who won the State of Origin Series? Ah!

Hannah and Andrew are waving and putting and cheering. Who won 14 of the last 17 Origin Series? They're all triple agents, those ones. We're living in the present, you dribblers. No, we're not. We're living in the past, you idiot. Hello, any chance of a bit of support? Half my family live in Queensland. They're all moving up there. Piggy's going up there when he sells his kid, Bromley. You're moving up there too. No. Piggy's got a pool guy on the golf course.

I know, he brushed my... He brushed our off-hooker pool guy. Oh, here we go. Don't get him going. Disgrace this bloke. Has he turned on the pool guy? We had our pool guy, right? He looked after us. He used to travel from the back of Penrith to go down and look after Piggy's pool. No. Well, you tell me what happened then.

Jim is my Sydney pool man. Is he a Jim's pool guy? Irresistible pool. Wonderful man. Great man, Jim. And he looked after my pool when I lived in Sydney. Forever and ever. Built me a beautiful brand new pool on the property that I had out west. And a water slide. Yeah, and a water slide and everything. And now I'm down the south coast.

I've got a South Coast pool man as well. So you've given Jim the flick? No. Jim's one of the nicest. He's a great man. And you just turned on him. Did you do what Darryl did when he brushed his pool cleaner and just sent him a text? Or did you actually bring it to him?

That was ages ago. Daryl had a pool cleaner and he dumped her by text. Oh, that's right. Actually, I remember that. Guess where she's moved? Up to Queensland. She couldn't get further away from me. We're off to a break. We'll come back with more. 14 of 17, eh, Brainy? New South Wales have won four of the last seven, so claim that is completely wrong. Well, I was flying off the seat of my pants with that one. Under the pump there. I was desperate for a comeback that was better than, oh, yeah? Yeah.

We lost. I mean, we take losing well. It's all right. Oh, yeah.

All of our blokes are injured, including Rhys Walsh. Levy, Queensland is not a bad place. It only has one problem. Too many Queenslanders live there. Ah, turn it up. It's called a New South Welshman, Dave. Oh, it's chock-a-block with it. They just move up there en masse. It's a punish. We are broadcasting into Queensland, Dave, so we can't be too nasty. 131873 is the number. Well, Jason says, Davey would have known Ariane Titmuss since she was a little boy.

A little girl. Thank you, Jason. 131873, the number 2GB.com. Click onto the feedback icon if you would like to join us. A wrap for Sowie on his call last night. He's turned into a gun commentator. Great call last night. Thank you, Matthew. Yeah, he's doing well. Afternoon, boys. Levy, I've seen your call for staff on Pronto. Is there a supervisor of manager of car parks for the restaurant? Chris at Radcliffe.

Mate, I haven't been brought up for ages. Is it a problem for you? No, parking's not a problem. Staff's the problem. I'll put this out there. I mean, the timing for me has been horrendous because I'm stuck at the Olympics and I can't be there to help, but...

But we honestly weren't expecting the overwhelming response that we've had. And, you know, a few people have waited a while for drinks, which is disappointing. And the first night the booking system let us down. So you rely on technology. It's a nightmare. So if any of those people that went along and are listening today, I want to apologise to you. But people should expect teething problems with any opening. But the thing that does my head in, Briony, like there's one bloke on social media just ripping into the restaurant and all that sort of thing. Like he doesn't say anything about the food. Apparently he loved the food.

but he waited 15 minutes for a drink and he's gone on every social media profile. That's not so bad. So I sent him a message this morning. I said, mate, you work in business because I've worked out who you are. Mate, could you imagine if I went on there and did the same thing to you just because you're, you know, like just narcs. Narcs do my head in. You know, people need to work together, especially in the hospitality industry. It's struggling. Look, if you went to a new movie theater that just opened today,

There's going to be a team. But that's what an opening's about. Exactly. And everyone working together, people coming along, testing the join out, iron her out, and away we go. A little bit of feedback. Yeah. And that's it. For instance, the little F-Post terminal, right, that you take to a table wasn't working. So people had to go to the bar and pay, and people weren't happy about that. If that's the biggest issue we've got, I mean, six again play on people. You might have to get your steps up if you've got to go up to the bar. Especially after you had a big feed. Oh, yeah.

Oh, exactly. Walked back to the bar, walked back. Well, as Levy said, he's giving back to the community. Well, you know what I'm soon realising? Maybe I should not deal with the complaints handling at the restaurant. You shouldn't, Levy. Because if you get criticised or there's some criticism or whatever, you don't handle it exactly very well. Yeah, but I can take constructive criticism. Or if somebody's happy, happy to deal with them and work together. But from, like, Ollie's been there running the place and a few of the staff.

People that are rude to staff, there's no need for it. Absolutely. And I've seen it at Coles and Woolies. And I just think people need to have a really good hard look at themselves at the moment. I mean, there are people struggling, working two, three jobs. We've got a young girl with us at the moment who one night, the other night, left in tears because she copped the spray from somebody. And I just, thankfully, the person left their number. And I phoned them this morning and just said, look, she's a young girl doing her best, fresh out of school, first job.

Mate, have you got grandkids? She said, yeah. I said, well, imagine if I sprayed your grandkids. And she's actually written a lovely apology. And I just think people need to just treat people with respect in this day and age. Can I ask you some questions about the great Pronto opening in the last few days? So what's the number one drink they want? What do they want?

Well, we've got tap beer, so that's popular. Tap beer? And is it craft stuff? Well, no, I don't do craft beer. No, I'm a two-ears man. No, we've got Northern and Blonde on tap. Yeah, good. But the one thing that we have realised is we've got too many wines on the list, so we're going to have to just shorten the wine list. Yeah, because they just want a select few. Okay, that's a good learning. Because we don't have enough room to store as much of it in the fridges as we would like to. So we might just this week cut

the wine list in half just to alleviate that pressure. Sorted out the booking system. What about the food? What are they going for? This is the big thing, right? Everyone's loving the food. So I've said to the chefs, hello, if we've got great food...

That should be a winner. All we can do then is give you some more support with staffing and all that sort of thing. Alleviates the issues. It's like plenty of businesses out there, they have staff problems, right? Oh, yeah. We've got it here on the Continuous Call team. What's that? Massive staff problems. Why's that? Because I'm here with Peggy and Daryl every Sunday. Mate, you'd be good. I know we can fix that.

Jay Moz. Get Jay Moz in. Last in, first out. No, Briony, you know what? To justify your position, all you need to say to these two is, hello, ratings. Hello, ratings. No, no. Hey, no, I do want to know, but what are they ordering? Is it the pizza or a pasta or like? Bit of everything, mate. Yeah? Arancini balls. Yeah, a few, because we're doing the whole Balkan thing too, like, you know, the meat and all that sort of thing. Oh, yeah. The sardamara, I think is how you say it. So a lot of people are willing to try all that sort of thing, but.

I'll be down there for lunch this week. Yeah, do it. I've got a couple of updates. I don't have to report back to duty to a current affair until Monday week. And my first assignment is, you know, the Slim Shady song, Guess Who's Back? Yes. Shady's back. Yeah. Gordon's back. It's going to be Breeney versus Gordon round three. He's got the rubbish back at that apartment block. Not again. And I'm coming for him. Don't invite Greeney down there, mate. He might bring a camera crew.

You're going to get bounced. He'll go through the kitchen and say, oh, look at this. There's a cockroach. That shows how naive you are. No, that's how naive he is. I'd take a camera crew to do over your restaurant. I'd wear a hidden camera. Sorry, I don't understand television. Remember that old hidden camera? They're all banned now. You can't do that anymore. Oh, really? Yeah, worst day of my life. Well, mate, I've just had an email from Gordon.

Oh, yeah. He says, looking forward to seeing Brainy next couple of weeks. We'll take a break. Back with more in just a sec. I didn't realise I could stick with my industry super fund when I retired. Wonderful to have you with us. Mark Levy, Neil Breen, Daryl Broman, Mark Piggy-Riddell. Let's get an Olympics update right now. G'day, Max White here with your Paris Olympic update.

All eyes will be back on the pool tonight with more medals on the line. Emma McEwan will contest the 100 metre butterfly final while Ariane Titmuss will be back in the pool with Molly O'Callaghan in the heats of the 200 metre freestyle. The women's rugby sevens team will begin its campaign at the Stade de France tonight.

Their opening match will be played against South Africa, the same country that beat our men in the bronze medal match last night. Day two at Roland Garros, we'll see Alexi Toprin make his Olympic tennis taboo, while Ayla Tomjanovic will take on world number two Coco Gauff in the women's singles. And the surfing in Tahiti is right now on. Ethan Ewing and Tyler Wright both winning their heats and progressing to the round of 16. Jack Robinson and Molly Picklam will have to battle it out in the elimination round up

narrowly losing their heats to the medal tally and Australia sits on top with three gold and two silver. China is second with two gold. I'm Max White with the latest from the Paris Olympics. That Paris 2024 medal tally was thanks to NRMA Insurance, a help company.

Yes, thank you very much to Max. I think Max is a surfer. I might have to get some terminology off him on surfing. I've got a couple for you. Hang ten? Hang ten. Radical? Well, I did say after the first wave that was caught by the Australian who was out there, I said, well, he'd be stoked with that one.

Yeah, that's good terminology. Nice. It's a different breed, aren't they? Yeah. Totally different breed. I don't know many of them. But you know where they're staying? They're on a cruise ship. Talk about a nice Olympic village. Are they playing bingo and stuff or what's happening at night? I doubt it. They're probably on the drink. Having a slap? LAUGHTER

They've got pokies on the ship, haven't they? Yeah, some do. Young Ethan Ewing's come out. He's got a 7.33 on the wave. The first question, oh, you must be on top of the world. You got the feature last night, paid $4,000. 131873, the number. 2GB.com. Click onto the feedback icon if you would like to join us. Shane from Budrum. I moved up here 10 years ago to Queensland and I've never felt smarter. Gentlemen. There you go. Good on you, Shane. Good on you. Yeah.

I don't think Shane's fair dinkum, though. No, no, he loves it up there. He loves it. He's a Newcastle Knights tragic. Is he? We met him at the Magic Round. He's a good fella, too, and a very, very funny man. 8-2, time to reserve your Uber ride for one of today's games with Uber Reserve. You can reserve now, ride later with Uber Reserve. Wonderful to have you with us. Now, look, just a story about an incident that we were on air for yesterday involving an NRLW clash. Broncos forward...

Aneta Claudia Nwosala is facing six weeks on the sideline for punching Eelslock Kennedy-Charrington, as well as a hip-drop tackle on her sister Ruben in a fiery NRLW clash yesterday. In a big statement, the NRL has hit Nwosala with two charges from the ugly incident, which blew up at the end of the Broncos' shock win, or shock loss, I should say, to Parramatta.

If she pleads guilty, Nua Salah will miss four games in almost half of the season for the Broncos, with two weeks for a striking charge and two weeks for dangerous contact for a hip drop. Charrington was also hit with a Grade 1 contrary conduct charge for igniting the brawl, but can escape suspension if she opts for a $400 fine instead.

The same goes for Tasman Rapana, who was charged with contrary conduct for pulling Charrington's hair in the melee. Meanwhile, Broncos forward Lavina Gould will also miss a week for a Grade 1 dangerous contact charge for a tackle on Eales' fullback Abbey Church.

We were on air during that match yesterday with Alana Ferguson and I said, Fergo, what about this? There's punches being thrown. And she said, you can't be doing that. So the NRL's come down hard six weeks. And of course, we have a look at the judiciary and match review for Brighton's lawyers. Protecting your future when winning is all that matters. You need Brighton's lawyers on your side.

And as far as those men's charges are concerned, the only player facing a suspension is Michael Jennings for that tackle on Jason Saab. Two with an early plea, three if he's found guilty at the panel. The other charges, Kobe Hetherington, Blake Moser, Curtis Moran, Corey Waddell and Satili Tupinua.

and they'll all escape with a fine if they accept the early guilty plea. That judiciary and match review update, thanks to Brydon's lawyers. The team news for the 2 o'clock game, the Dragons and Penrith from Wynn Stadium in Wollongong. Tyrell Sloan's been dropped by Coach Flanagan, so Matt Fina starts at fullback in 18. Blake Laurie is the 18th man. And for Penrith, they're 1-17. Matt Eisenhuth is the 18th man. And that team news is brought to you by Coles. Wynn, with the Winter of Sports giveaway, it's on now at Coles.

Coles. And the game you'll hear with the boys later on this afternoon comes through from Suncorp Stadium, where the Dolphins are up against the Gold Coast Titans in a Queensland derby. And then later on tonight at GIO Stadium in Canberra, Jack White heading back to Canberra with South Sydney, though, as the Rabbitohs take on the Raiders and the Newcastle Knights have the bye. So this is round 21 of the Telstra Premiership. Three big games today. We'll update the scores on the two o'clock game when we return from the news, which comes up right now.

KGs ain't fallin'.

You're like a time bomb. You're just exploding. Yeah. Check the size of your massive rear end. Who's bigger than Pamela Randall? Cause I know how fat you can get. You gotta eat. A guy's gotta eat.

It's meat pies and tasty top deck. Don't exercise, no junk food is bliss. You gotta eat. Guys gotta eat. When you can feel your whole body wobbling, you know that your heart's probably clogging. What do doctors know? I'd rather see it.

I'll take the lounge now and sleep a bit. Check the size of your massive rear end. Who's bigger than Pamela Anderson? Cause I know how fat you can get. You gotta eat. A guy's gotta eat. It's meat pies and tasty top day.

Don't exercise, no. Junk food is bliss. To all you guys on the show, let me just say this. There's always light at the end of the tunnel. I was born a fatty. That's the way God wanted me. I'm tipping. It's the way he wants you. I know a lot of you will lose a lot of kgs on this great show. I'm also tipping. You'll pile them back on within hours of getting out. But don't feel like you've failed, even though you have.

is good. I'm Darryl Bryman. Bye for now.

Thank you, Daryl. Beautiful stuff as we welcome you back to the next hour of the Continuous Call team as we do it from the McDonald's Interactive Studio in Penrith. I've opened the scoring in the first of today's games and we've just seen a mistake from the Dragons. They've played the ball forward rather than backwards. So 6-0 Penrith leading St. George-Lawara and there's an issue for James Fisher-Harris. Mark Piggy-Ridello is just walking back into the studio and they've conceded the first try of the Dragons. Yeah, the Penrith Panthers, I think Young McLean was the try scorer, so...

Panthers on the board. They were lucky. Well, the Dragons were lucky not to have another one against them. Nathan Cleary made a really nice break down the right-hand side of the field, unable to find a support player. So...

looks an entertaining game here we go Panthers are away through McLean yeah they're away and he's got support back on the inside to Ruva trying to push past Liddell they grab him and put him to the ground so we'll keep an eye on this 6-0 the score Penrith leading St. George of Lawara that's after eight minutes of play in the second half and we've got some of the replayed Olympic action up on our screen here at the moment our coverage will begin after the footy tonight at about seven o'clock we've got a

Another big morning of swimming. But Jess Fox going for gold in the women's K1 canoe slalom. Emma McKeon's quest for a career seventh Olympic gold medal and 13th Olympic medal in the women's 100 butterfly final. The Australian skateboarders in the women's street at La Concorde 3. And the Matildas, crucial Group B encounter with Zambia in Nice. So that's all still to come. And, of course, last night, Australia winning an unprecedented three golds on day one at the Olympic Games.

Road cyclist Grace Brown claiming Australia's first medal in Paris, winning the women's time trial. Ariane Titmuss successfully defending her women's 400 freestyle gold medal. Our champion women's 4x100 freestyle relay team breaking the Olympic record and winning a fourth straight...

Olympic gold medal and Jess Fox producing a sizzling second run to qualify fastest for today's women's K1 canoe slalom final. Jessie Moore qualified for the final of the men's all-around artistic gymnastics competition.

And there were wins for the Kookaburras, Boomers and Stingers and Tara Rigney qualifying second fastest for this week's Women's Single Sculls quarterfinals. So I've been doing a little bit of homework in the news break. So that's what I can sort of gather is coming up. Can I make a statement? I don't know whether you guys agree with me or not. I've watched a bit of the Channel 9 stuff recently with the Olympics.

Kate Campbell, gee, she's impressive on TV. She's very good. Very good. Isn't she good? She's polished. Very, very good. Daryl, in the early hours of this morning, we had her on for a quick chat to preview the swimming, and I asked her a question. I said, look...

Can you give the listeners an idea of what it's like as an Olympian when you toil away to get yourself into an Olympic Games but then to win a gold medal? Her answer was phenomenal. In fact, Andrew, can you go back and get the audio for me? The very last question I asked Kate and her response because Gordon Bray came walking in with a smile from ear to ear. He said in the 12 Olympic Games he's covered, it's the best answer he's ever heard from an Olympian to describe what it's like to

to go to the world stage where the green and gold represent your country and also strive for success. And her answer was just phenomenal, Brainy. The biggest challenge is... So Ariane Titmuss, what was her race? Was it 4.52am? Whatever it was, 8.52pm Paris time.

So four years ago, she knew that at 8.52 p.m. on July 27, 2024, you had to be ready or not. It's not like a 24-round NRL season, a three-match Origin Series. That's it. That's it. The gun's going to go then.

And you're going to swim that 400 in 357 and beat everyone else, or are you going to swim it in 358 and get rolled? You know what I mean? Like, that's pressure, isn't it? Well, mate, she teared up, I think, this morning when I was watching it on the basis. I think Carl asked her a question, you know, about – because she just missed out on the team, didn't she? She just missed out on the relay, I think. Campbell, yeah. You know, and she could see it meant a lot to her by –

You know, she had nothing. I think she said nothing against the girls who made it. They all deserve to be there. She said, but it does hurt me that I'm not in it. It's been hard for her because she should have won in Rio and she knows it. And she was so far and away the best swimmer in the world over 100 metres. And through the heats in the final there. And then in the final, she just dove in the pool and she just swam too hard. And she got it wrong and she got beat. It's been very difficult for her to deal with. She's won relay gold medals. But...

In 2008, you forget she's been around that long, Kay Campbell. In 2008, she finished third in the 50 as a 16-year-old. Did he just get you? I'm not sure. I've used it before. You said she dove in the pool. I'm not sure if dove is a word. Dove. Dived. Dived into the pool. Dove's not a word, is it?

Does anyone know? She dove into the pool. Well, he's the old newspaper editor. I don't know. I could handle dove. I could be wrong here. I'm going to get Hannah to adjudicate. Hey, you know how big... Please, Hannah. Is Hannah like an expert on... Well, she's out there, and if I use my phone, Livvy will get me in trouble, so I'm going to get Hannah to do it. But in honour of you playing Gotta Eat out of the break, can I give you your weekly treats? Please, I've been waiting on them. Weekly treats? Hang on. Hang on. It's outside. There's about...

There's that much rubbish out there and some food to keep us going. I didn't know. Mate, there's a whole... So I bought stuff. There's a whole popcorn machine out there. Well, what's happened is...

You know, there's austerity measures going on because of the cost of living crisis. When I went into the Coles, I said, I'm only going to buy two things and I'm only buying them on specials. Specials. Yes. So now this treat here... What if I don't like them? Can you take them back? Well, it's too bad. Piggy and I'll eat them. Did you keep the receipt? I'll put them in Levy's bedroom. Now, look...

Jats. Yeah, I like Jats. Three bucks, they were. Yeah, I love Jats. Three bucks. Did you get like French onion dip with it? No, just straight up Jats so your mouth's all dry and you can't commentate. All right? But guess what else was on special? Can we have a drum roll or something? Yeah, please. We need the drum roll. Hang on. Can you dig it out? Yeah, hang on. Here we go. This is unbelievable because I was only buying things on special. All right, here we go. Are you ready? Yep. Righto, ladies and gentlemen, a drum roll, please.

Rocky Road. Oh, yeah. Rocky Road was on special. Stick the Jets with it. Okay. Where the sun don't shine. Look, Bernie, I'm reluctant to be critical of your selections. Rocky Road's his favourite. It was on special. Jets. Who buys Jets on its own? I do. Well, you're a goose. Well, I'm allowed to buy something I like. It needed to be accompanied with a dip. I was hoping, like, cubed cheese. Cheese. Something dip. Some Cavanozzi. Cavanozzi. Yeah.

Surely you could have found some cubed cheese on special. Surely a stick of cabbage. Big Bart needs some cavernosy, that's my mum. Not only, what about some Kransky? Thank you, Brainy, that's very kind. No worries. Jats beautiful, mate. Well done. You know it's always fun when the Jats get stuck in your teeth. And speaking of teeth, Piggy, you've got something you'd like to raise with the Continuous Call team. After I go around the grounds for Uber Reserve, Penrith 12, St. George, Illawarra 0. 12-0 the score, Penrith leading St. George, Illawarra.

And it looks like Fisher Harris is no good with that groin. We saw it happen very early in the game. And he's in a bit of trouble. Yeah, no, I wanted to bring up. Speaking of Jets, that might be the problem. The Jets crackers. He's gone. He's gone. During the week, boys, myself and my wife, Carly, we went to the dentist. And we go every six months, have our. You go together. Yeah, we go together. Polish. We have polish and clean. Excuse me. Your teeth, Levy.

Why do you go together? I saw a movie about that. The dentist wasn't in the room? About a couple going to the dentist. Anyway.

I was a teenager at the time, but it was a good movie. That didn't come out how I expected it. You go to the dentist to get them polished. Polished and clean. You know, you go every six months, you have a checkup. Six months? Every six months. Are you trying to say it costs you nothing? All right, all right. We can investigate what you're going to say in a second. But I haven't been for two years. That's disgraceful. That's not good. Absolutely disgraceful. I reckon there'd be a few people out there with me. No, well, we go every six months. We always book in the next one. We take the kids. We've got the private health insurance, so we use all that up.

Anyway, when I was in there with my dentist, the lovely dentist said to me, she goes, my goodness, Mark. She goes, when I'm 43 years of age, which I am, she goes, I'm praying that I've got teeth like yours. She said, lovely teeth, not one filling, all in good shape. You're going really well. So I was like, proud as punch, you know. And when I was a kid, mum and dad always took me to the dentist and did the right thing, had the fluoride treatment, all of that jazz.

But when Carly came out, Carly had another three fillings, didn't she? So is Carly got bad teeth? So I was into her. I'm saying, mate. Is Carly a non-brusher? No, well, I was saying to her, I was saying, Carly.

you need to start brushing your berries. This isn't good for the kids. Has she got bad breath? No, well, Carly brushes them religiously morning and night. And anyway, we were into an argument about our teeth, jokingly, and she made the statement to me that women who have children are more susceptible and prone to fillings...

And I was just, please, give me a break. And she was adamant that she gets the fillings because she's had children. I think that would be right. How does that work? What's the stuff in your teeth? Calcium. Yeah, the children drag the calcium out of them. LAUGHTER

Listen to Grandad here. I wasn't having a bar. I wasn't having a bar. Have you got feelings? He's standing up. He's standing up. I'm telling you why this happens. Why does it happen? I want to hear your explanation. Because wives have babies. You don't have a baby, right? No. So that baby comes from... Women have babies, not wives. Women have babies. A lot of wives do. In 2024, there's a few people that think they can have other babies. So out of that beautiful product...

This baby that is born invariably grow teeth. So that takes a bit away from her teeth growing ability. Are you saying that the babies take... It's only natural. The babies don't grow teeth until they're toddlers. Well, it doesn't matter. They still come from within her body. Hang on. Well, you don't produce much, really, do you, to help the baby, to make the baby? I produced enough. Okay, you probably did. But I'm saying this. Best 10 seconds of your life. Because it's come from within your wife's body... Right. ...you don't produce much.

The teeth that the child eventually grow after, say, about 12 months take away from her teeth.

which is natural. It's a process of elimination. So your thought process here is that the woman carrying the child, when the baby is delivered, pieces of the teeth of the woman go with the child. No, the strength for the teeth in that past time. The inner ability from your body to keep your teeth strong is diminished because some of it's gone to the baby.

Some of that stuff has gone to the back. There's no doubt about it. You can't argue this. Yes, we can. You can't argue it. It's like you saying you've got better fingernails than your wife. Why? Because the baby has fingernails.

You do have better fingernails than your wife. No, I don't. Of course you do, mate. What do you do to your fingernails? Nothing. Exactly. Wives are always getting their fingernails done. That's because the babies have taken away the strength of their fingernails. That's why women get fingernails done, you idiot. It's simple. How can we get...

Toenails, sweetie. Can we get Charles Darwin's descendants to ring in the origin of the species? You know what I mean? This is obvious. It's quite obvious. It's so simple. I'm with you on the dentist. If my wife, like heaven forbid, she has to get a filling or something, she absolutely blows up that I don't. I haven't had a filling since I was about eight.

But growing up in Queensland... Since you were eight. About eight years of age, I reckon. You had a filling when you were eight. I reckon, yeah. Really? Yeah, yeah. Queensland, mate. Because in Queensland, mate, eight or ten, in Queensland, there was no fluoride in the water in the 70s when I was a kid. And all kids my age in Queensland ended up with silver fillings all through their gob. So, Piggy, can you just give me a smile? Just give me a smile. Yeah, you do have good teeth. Yeah.

Did they ever get injured playing footy? I never wore a mouth guard. I shouldn't say this. I never wore a mouth guard. How could you not have? I lost the backs of all my teeth from playing rugby and I wore a mouth guard. Right. Like, I don't know how you never got your jaw jammed and...

You know what I mean? No one would dare. Daryl, there's a bit of support for you on this. Oh, no one would dare. Mate, of course. My God. It's not... I'm not making this up. I know this stuff. He's gone back to this thing again. Yeah, he just said this all. I tried to move on to get you out of this pickle, Paul. Mate, I don't want you to get me out of it because I'm right. Paul says... I sound like Galen now. I'm sorry. Daryl's right. The mother passes on all of the nutrition to the baby, which then helps promote nice teeth, and she loses that nutritional balance. Nice Barry beef. Exactly. Exactly.

Well, that's my point about the fingernails. Can I just jump in here? What about the hair? Sorry, I've got a text from Big H. Big H is at the footy. Panthers, Dragons. Big Sword. No, Big H. Big Sword. Not Big Willie. Oh, sorry. Anyway, I've just seen Penrith score another try, so I thought he's going to be into me here, you know.

Can I please have some money on my card? Oh, Spriggy. Spriggy card. Not about the footy, not about anything. I showed Piggy my phone before when the notification came up from the Commonwealth Bank. You've spent $99.99 at Rebel Sport Randwick. I said I have.

Yeah, but they knocked it down from $150. Bargain. Just make it look better. I'll tell you when I blow up, when I'm walking around one day, my phone goes bing and it says, you spent $184.75 at Pronto, Sylvain. You go, what?

You're like me and a little slack in that regard. Mate, I'm petrified of the dentist. I hate them. But don't you want to have your teeth cleaned and fresh? No, I brush my teeth. I love it. I floss. But you get to feel each and every tooth and it's beautiful. It's beautiful. Yes. It's one of the worst experiences of your life going to the dentist. No, you've got to get a good dentist. Mate, I've got my dentist in Brisbane, Dean Kostrisos. He's the best at Cooperoo. Wait, what? What?

How do you know the name of your dentist? I don't know the name of the dentist. He's my man from the golf club. And I had all these chips in my teeth. He fixed them. What? How do you not know the name of your dentist? I don't know the name of mine. I remember the name of my dentist when I was a little kid at Wilston in Brisbane. What? Dr. Campbell. Oh!

What? And the best thing about it was after we waited the 10 minutes following the fluoride, we got a chocolate malted milk next door. Well, I was going to say, if he's giving it to you, he's not very good dentist. It was a she. Righto, 131873, the number. They should have let him go to the Titans. They're under the pump, the Dragons. They're trying to offload him to the Titans now. Stand by. Chris says, I've been to the dentist twice in 60 years. Does he follow South? My mum...

My mum's teeth all fell out before she was 40. She sacrificed herself to give me good teeth. What a woman. That's my point, Chris. I mean, they do a lot of stuff for you, mums, including making sure their kids have good teeth. True. When I finish a dental check-up, I ask the dental assistant to book in another check-up six months ahead, so it's locked in and I can't avoid it. Yep, I'm locked in. Why wouldn't you be?

I know what you get when you go there. He gets his Barry Beeth polished. Ray says, boys, great show as always. I agree with Levi. I hate going to the dentist maybe once every five years. Well, the thing that gets me, right, is the sound of that little drill and then all of the stuff if they scrape the plaque off your teeth. It's just awful. Mate, what you've got to do is you've got to just lie there and cop it and lift. I go to sleep.

You can't go to sleep while they're going... Yeah, I just... Between your teeth. Well, they gave you the glasses. They give you the glasses. You lay down in the chair. Well, you go to sleep when he says open your mouth. But I just close my eyes and then I'm just...

So you don't fall asleep, but you go to sleep. Well, I try to fall asleep. That'll do me with you. And I don't just focus on my breathing. Well, when you're getting your teeth drilled. Yeah, because, you know, if you've got to focus on your breathing, because the assistant's got the sucker in your mouth, getting all the excess away. Dentist is cleaning, so you focus on your breathing. What if you're too relaxed and you fall asleep and you close your mouth while he's drilling and he drills half your gums in? Not everyone goes to the dentist to get drilled.

You get just polished. You know what? Given what you blokes are saying, I'm going to go with you. Oh, my God. Oh, my God. Oh, my God. You're a disgrace, Piggy. You're a disgrace. No, you're a disgrace, mate. Oh, my God. Given the last bill I got at the dentist, I got drilled. Oh, my God.

Oh, goodness me. I believe at least you can claim that. Private Elvenger. It's an unbelievable thing to be a dentist, though, wouldn't it? Really? What I'm just saying, just looking into people's mouths all day, it's not for me. How good is it they've got the TV on the roof now? You just lie back and watch TV. Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah, exactly. Well, we've been awaiting the details of the Cabinet reshuffle under the Prime Minister Anthony Albanese. And he's revealed his new-look government in his first reshuffle since coming to power in 2022, elevating the Northern Territory Senator Malindiri McCarthy as the new Indigenous Australians Minister, while moving former Immigration Minister Andrew Giles to a new portfolio. So how it reads is that Tony Burke becomes the new Home Affairs Minister.

Claire O'Neill will leave the department to take up the housing and homelessness portfolio. Senator Murray Watt will move from agriculture to industrial relations. Pat Conroy will serve as the Defence Industry Minister and Minister for International Development in the Pacific.

The former Immigration Minister, Andrew Giles, has been dumped from his portfolio, and rightfully so. He'll take up the Skills and Training Ministry. Senator Jenny McAllister has been promoted in the reshuffle and will become the Minister for Cities and Minister for Emergency Management. And the big change was triggered after Labor stalwarts Brendan O'Connor and Linda Burney announced they would be retiring at the next election. So we've been waiting on some more information on what the reshuffle will look like, and that is the new...

cabinet positions for Tony Burke, Murray Watt, Pat Conroy, Andrew Giles, Jenny McAllister. Of course, that is what we've got there. And Senator Malindiri McCarthy is the new Indigenous Australians Minister. 131873 0460 873873. Back around the grounds for Uber Reserve with 10 minutes left in the first half. It's 22-0. Penrith leading St George Illawarra. Now let's preview the game that you boys will be calling this afternoon here on radio. You'll see it

live on Nine's Wide World of Sports. The Dolphins taking on the Titans, a Queensland derby, and a great Queenslander's on the line to preview it for us. Darren Lockyer. Hello, Locky. Good afternoon, gents. Wonderful to catch up as always, mate. We love a derby. Dolphins, Titans, this one at Suncorp Stadium. How are we looking?

Yeah, I'm here looking at the field now. It's a beautiful day here in Brisbane. So I think you've got some speed out wide on both teams here with the Dolphins and Times. So I think you're going to see a lot of points. Both teams probably need to get their defence in order, but I just feel like the conditions...

You're going to see a great game of football and you're going to see some tries. Hey, Lachie, a huge game for the Dolphins because, you know, over the last couple of weeks, they're just starting to lose touch a little bit. They find themselves in eighth position at the moment and they really need to jag this win this afternoon to keep them in touch. Yeah, they need to stop the slide. I mean, last year, you know, they started well and they slid down the ladder, but it was a little bit earlier. They looked better this year. They obviously improved with a bit of maturity. Yeah.

And I think there's a stat out there they might have let in more than 26 points in the last five games. So that's alarming. When you consider Wayne Bennett, he likes to keep things simple and he has a real defence mentality. So they need to get that in order. But as we saw last week with the Titans, when they move the ball around, they're very dangerous.

Hey, Lockie, the Titans, they're sort of a different story. They started the season dreadfully, loss after loss after loss. Then all of a sudden, they seem to adapt to Dez Hasler's style of play. What have you been making of them in the last several weeks?

Yeah, exactly that, really. They've been improving and I think it just took them a while to understand the way Des wanted to play and once they got that and they're on board, they're a lot better football team than where the letter suggests. I guess it's just that six weeks at the start of the season that's put them in that situation but, you know,

Even last week when they were playing Manly, even though the score blew out, that wasn't a reflection of how close the Titans were to Manly on the day. So for mine, this game will be a great spectacle, but I also think the Titans are a good chance here of getting a win. It's interesting. Like you said before, you thought there might be a lot of points scored in this game, and I actually agree with you. I'm not a mad stats man, but there's a couple of stats here that

It's just frying my brain. The Dolphins have won three from three against the Titans, but the Titans have won three of their past four games at Suncorp Stadium. So I've got no idea who will win this. I've got absolutely no idea, and I'm an expert. Well, I know the Titans do like playing here. That's only from a Broncos perspective because the Titans seem to do a job on the Broncos here. But, yeah, they haven't been able to beat the Dolphins. But maybe the day's...

Like I said, I can't really, I think it's a toss of the coin. But like I said, the conditions, I think we're going to, we've already seen some great rugby league this week, but I think we're in for some more this afternoon. Hey, Lachie, the Broncos, we didn't see much great rugby league from them yesterday afternoon. What are you feeling about it 24 hours on? Well,

Oh, look, I just think the origins impacted us. I know, you know, because we're where we are on the ladder, Kevin didn't have that luxury of being able to rest his players a lot. So we've had to risk versus reward type thing. They backed up and they played against Newcastle and they played well, but they were,

they were very flat last week. You look, just look at the strapping on some of those guys and the padding. That game three was so brutal. It's had an impact on particularly players that haven't been able to get rested. You know, like Penrith had the luxury to do it and they'll obviously long-term, they'll get the advantage of that but the Bronx just weren't in that situation and

full credit to the dogs too I mean I think they're a bit of a smokey to win it just defensively they're very good with their habits and their movement and their attack yesterday was quite surprising Darren away from rugby league dentists Mark Piggie-Ridell has just declared to Australia that he enjoys going to the dentist and can fall asleep in the dentist chair what say you Lockie?

No, well, it depends on what's being done. I don't think I could fall asleep in the dentist. Just to clean and polish. No, no, that's not relaxing. That's putting things down your mouth. Painful. You're right, Lockie. See, that's why you're the voice of reason. This bloke's an idiot. LAUGHTER

Good stuff. He didn't comment, but I know he's with me on that one. Righto, Darren. Well, mate, good calling this afternoon. You're there at Suncorp Stadium. I'm sure there'll be another big crowd to watch the game between the Dolphins and the Titans. Thanks so much. No worries, gents. Have a good hour. There he is, Darren Lockyer, the Queensland legend, rugby league icon, and, of course, a member of Nine's Wide World of Sports. 22 points to four now. Penrith leading St. George, Illawarra. 131873, that number. Now, look, I mentioned earlier Kate Campbell and the boys were saying what an impressive young woman she is. And I asked her a question on our Olympic coverage this morning on what it's like just to be an Olympian and to go out there and do her thing. And I'll play you what she had to say in just a moment because it was just a phenomenal answer to a fairly basic question. So I'll play that for you in just a second. Kate Campbell.

because I've been told it's on the little page here, but I can't seem to see it anywhere in front of me, gentlemen. So where is it? Can we let me know, please? 131873, the number 2GB.com. Here it is, Kate Campbell. Can I ask you this, Kate? We've been sitting here in our Olympic studio in Sydney and we've been commentating table tennis, cycling, rugby sevens, everything else. And we've been talking about what it's like for these athletes.

The heartbreak, the hard work, the rollercoaster of emotions that goes into toiling away to get to an Olympic Games. Given you've been there, you've won gold medals, you know what the experience is like. Can you put it into words what these Australian athletes are going through at the moment?

Oh, it's every emotion under the sun. And I think that it really just depends on if you can put things together on the day. I think the thing to remember as well, though, is that even if an athlete goes out and they don't perform at their best, it is not through lack of trying. Like no one trains for four years. No one gives up.

their weekends, public holidays, no one puts blood, sweat and tears into something and then goes to the starting block or at the beginning of their competition and thinks, you know what? I just, I feel like giving 80% today. I'm just not going to give it 100%. Like no one does that. And for a lot of these sports,

win-lose margins are centimetres or hundredths or tenths of a second. You know, in the pool, it's one hundredth of a second can separate a gold or a silver or making a final or missing out on a final. I imagine, you know, for something like table tennis, it's like a centimetre whether or not that ball catches the edge of the table and is in or it's out. In rugby, it can just be the ball's a little bit slippery and you fumble on a pass or you knock it on. Like,

There are so many ways that mistakes can happen, and yet it's about the athletes turning up and committing and giving 100% regardless. It's just...

It's just so spectacular and that's why we love it, right? That's why we can't stop watching it. That's why the whole of Australia is going to be so sleep deprived for the next two weeks because we can feel the passion and the effort that these athletes are pouring into those performances. It's why we can cheer with them. It's why we cry with them when they're on the podium. But it's why we also clutch our hearts and feel their pain when something doesn't go their way. I think that

Yeah, what we see in sport is just it's a mirror and a magnifier to what we all go through in everyday life. Everyone has those moments where something goes really well and those moments where you've really worked so hard at something and it just hasn't come off and questioning that

everything about yourself and the doubt and the fear and the shame that comes with it. So it's just, it's a show like nothing else. These athletes are phenomenal and Australia is just going to fall in love with them over the next two weeks. And I am well and truly on their side cheering them on. And I just feel so privileged to be here in Paris and soak up some of the atmosphere that they're creating for us.

Is that one of the best answers you've heard? Amazing. Isn't she good? Yeah, exactly. And she's 100% right. No one turns up to the Olympics and goes, oh, you know what, I just couldn't be bothered. And just dogs it. You know what I mean? And most of them, look, there's a lot of team sports in the Olympics, but a lot of them are individual athletes too. You know, and they're out there on their own and doing it. Look, I had the great privilege of when I was a teenager, right?

at high school, right through grades 10, 11 and 12, I sat next to Duncan Armstrong in many of our classes. And Duncan through those years, like he played rugby up until year 10 because he was trying to do all things. But then Laurie Lawrence sort of said, that's it for you and rugby. And he got to grade 11 and 12 and he's just concentrating on swimming and

And in those years at school, like he ends up winning the gold medal at the age of 20 in 1988, sort of two and a half years after we left school. And he breaks the world record and wins the 200 freestyle. And when we were at school for those years, through 11 and 12, most days of the week, and I mean most days, three or four days a week at least, he would leave school at like little lunch.

Like the first break, and he would go home and sleep. He'd get up and go to Chandler, train all morning. He was 15, 16, 17. This is the dedication. Did he get into trouble for wagging school? Yeah, a lot. But the school knew what he was doing. The school, you know, he was at that school as an elite athlete. Like John Seban had been there. Hayley Lewis would end up coming there. You know, Wally Lewis went to that school. It was a bit of a sporty school.

And so that was kind of his go. And I remember sitting in class next to him. He was the world's funniest bloke, like forever in trouble. But he was just that funny. But he used to draw the Edinburgh Commonwealth Games logo in his book all the time. And I'd go, Duncan. And he'd go, that's where I'm going next year. Like in 1986, it was all about the Commonwealth Games. And then you see them at the Olympics. And that's my story because I sat next to him.

Times that by all of these athletes. That's what it takes to get there. It's pretty crazy, isn't it? Crazy stuff. Pretty crazy. And so exciting to have it covered right here on 2GB, 4BC and our network stations across Australia, back around the grounds. Penrith, 22-4 leaders over the St. George Illawarra Dragons. Piggy, your Dragons are doing it tough. Yeah, it's been a tough first half for the Dragons. Hopefully they can try and turn things around in the second half. But Penrith have looked very sharp, very sharp.

It's amazing, isn't it? Penrith are an amazing side because I know they've got most of their state of origin players back, but they've still got a number of players there who haven't played a great deal of first grade, particularly in their forwards. They've got a number of blokes, but for some reason, well, not for some reason, they've got a great leader in Nathan Cleary who just directs them around the park, doesn't he? He's just brilliant. When you look at blokes like Trent...

Talal, Lindsay Smith, Liam Henry, Mav Grier. You know, they haven't played a great deal of first grade, these boys. And they've been thrown in there and they completely keep doing the job. Yep, phenomenal. So 22 points to four. Penrith leading St. George, Illawarra. No Dylan Edwards today as well, we should point out. And, of course, James Fisher-Harris.

He won't return today due to a groin injury. So that's where we stand at the moment. 22 points to four. The Panthers lead the St. George Illawarra Dragons. That's as we take you around the grounds. And we do that, of course, for Uber Reserve. 131873-0460-873873. Continuous call, team.

Well, there was something about that scene. You know what? Because I've said this, you're going to death ride me, right? Well, I want Australia to play them in the final and watch you cheer for the USA just to get me one. Look, I'm as patriotic as anyone.

as anybody. You're telling me Australia can beat the USA in the basketball? I'm telling you somebody can beat them. Okay. I'm saying they'll get beat. All right, 26 points to four. Penrith leading St. George, Illawarra. Scott Sorensen outstretches the right arm and plants the ball down. So 26 points to four. Penrith leading St. George, Illawarra as we take you around the grounds. Look, the other game last night was a win to the Cowboys over the Cronulla Sharks. 30 points to 22. Our player of the match...

Our player of the match for Harvey Norman was Scott Drinkwater. He had a line break, three line break assists, two try assists. He's from the central coast of New South Wales. And in my days calling the footy, I have certainly been talking him up because I think he's a superstar. And we've got the Cowboys superstar on the line. Hey, Scotty.

Hey, how you going? Fine words, mate. No, no, well, you deserve it, mate. You're a terrific player and you're really doing a great job for the Cowboys and you should be enormously proud of yourself. Another great performance from you and the team last night to beat the Cronulla Sharks.

Yeah, it was. I've had the water over us for a long period of time now. So we spoke about it all week, just turning up from the first second of the game with an aggressive mindset. And the rest should take care of itself as long as our intent was there. Yeah, it was. So it was pretty pleasing. Hey, Scott, a fair bit of concern yesterday afternoon with a couple of your boys. How's Jason and Reuben today? Hey.

Yeah, saw Rubes today. You know, he's feeling as good as he can feel. Obviously, with the protocols, he won't be there on Thursday. Jase, I still haven't seen Jase, but yeah, I think he'll obviously be out for a couple of weeks, but I'm not too sure how long. Mate, it was important. Like, it was a big win for you, wasn't it, considering those two blokes went down pretty early in the contest? Yeah.

Yeah, it was. I didn't really think about, I guess, we don't have two blokes. We've only got three on the bench for the majority of the game. I didn't really think about that until halftime when Jakey Granville, we told you, was activated. But anyone that you want to be an F man and ready to go at any given time is Jakey Granville. So fortunate enough to have him there. But gutsy effort from, I guess, McIntyre,

Harry Eberlitz, Griffin Eame, all played well above their standard minutes rates. It gets a big pack, too, of Cronulla, and I thought they did a tremendous job. Scott, it was a really good win over the Sharks. It took me back to...

About two months ago, you guys played the Sharks at Shark Park. It was a Sunday afternoon match at four o'clock and we covered it on the continuous call team. And you guys got trounced that day and we sort of finished the coverage of that match lamenting, well, is this going to be another lost season for the Cowboys? What's happened in that two months since that bad loss to the Sharks to the victory over the Sharks? Well,

Look, obviously our defence has improved, especially on our goal line. We're learning a new system, so I guess there was always going to be a few housekeeping issues at the start there in the games. Obviously training and games are a lot different, a lot different pace. So yeah, a little bit of issues there, but...

I guess we've probably just simplified our game a little bit as well. With Jimmy Maloney's kind of helped us with our attack and what we need to be looking for and stuff. But...

probably overall, just our mentality and attitude towards the tougher parts of the game, which was what made us so good a couple of years ago. I think we're getting back into that rhythm. And yeah, I think a lot of people will just turn up week in, week out, playing seven, eights out of tens. Scott, I've been watching you play for a fair while. And I must admit, in the early days when you were at the Cowboys, I just thought you were a bit erratic. You were doing some things that were

50-50 plays, like you could do something brilliant, but then you try and do it a bit more often than maybe you should. And I have noticed a distinct change in your game in the last, probably since Todd Payton's been there, to be honest with you. Has he had, I don't know, firstly, do you agree with that? Or has he had an effect on you in that area of your play?

Yeah, firstly, look, it definitely was a bit erratic. I guess my role has always been to be looking and scanning for attacking opportunities. That's why I'm kind of picked most weeks. I'm not picked for my defense, that's for sure. So that's what I'm always looking for. But yeah, since Toddy's come, probably just making better decisions and learning that we don't need to score every set

especially when they're trying. We don't need to score every set, we don't need points on the board. Be happy to, I guess, play the tougher game and just build, build, build pressure, kick them in the corners, just complete high and have high possession. And then those opportunities will come a lot easier and I'll see it a lot easier. And yeah, since Toddy's been here, it's been always... It's what he's always been working with me. Yeah, I think he's had a real positive effect on you. And, you know...

he's your coach. I mean, you're going to wrap him, obviously, but I must say, I think he has probably had a more positive effect on you than any other player on that side. Yeah, you're probably right. Yeah,

But the main message Joey says is he doesn't want to take away from what I can do. So he gives me confidence still to back myself. But he just wants me to think more about what the team needs instead of what I guess I want to do. So, yeah. Well done. Fantastic, mate. Well, Scott, keep up the good work. And gee, it must be nice being a New South Welshman up there in Queensland off the back of the Origin Series. Victor, I hope you gave it to a few of those Maroons, mate.

I think you're a few teammates so maybe the neighbours copped it Good on you mate keep up the good work we'll see you at the footy soon mate and you just keep doing what you're doing Thanks for having me cheers Good on you buddy there he is Scott Drinkwater of course he was born in Penrith grew up on the central coast now in North Queensland playing for the Cowboys I played with his father last night the continuous call teams player of the match played with his father at Penrith can't remember his first name

But he's a good player. Was he a good player? Guess what? He was a good player. He was a fullback. Hang on, let me ask Scott. I think he's still there. You still there, Scotty? Yeah, I am, actually. What's your dad's name? Grant. Grant, that's right. Grant Drinkwater. I played with Grant. I used to call him Grant in those days. And you won't believe this, Scott. Yeah, I had a great nickname for him. Drinky. Did that surprise you? I think we both did.

All three boys, I think we've all got it. Why did you call him Grant? Was he from Penrith Heights or something? Grant, that's a good name. Grant is a classier name than Grant. Oh, okay. Sometimes I call him Grant as well, to be honest. Good on you, mate. Say goodnight to him for me, mate. See you, buddy. There he is, Scott Drinkwater from the North Queensland Cowboys. 28 points to four. Penrith leading St. George, Illawarra. Ten gone in the second half. We take you around the grounds for Uber Reserve. You're listening to the Continuous Call Time.

Just some breaking news from the Olympic Games. Australian Olympic team tennis update. Alex Demonor has pulled out of men's singles officially. He will play men's doubles. So he withdraws from the men's singles at the Paris Olympic Games. He's been rehabbing a hip injury. He sustained during the fourth round at Wimbledon. He has tried everything.

he possibly could to get himself ready to play singles at the Olympics. His first round match was scheduled for later today against Jan-Leonard Struff of Germany. He'll prioritise men's doubles alongside his childhood friend Alexi Popperin. Dimonor and Popperin face the number four seeds at Kryacek and Ram in their first match of the game. So thank you to Clinton Maynard who's

in Paris, and he sent that one through for us. Now, team news for the game that you'll hear with the continuous call team. We do that for Coles. Win with the Winter of Sports giveaway on now at Coles. For the Dolphins, Sean O'Sullivan comes onto the bench in 18. Trey Fuller is the 18th man. And for the Titans, Kenan Palacia will start in the front row. Aaron Clarke to the bench.

and Tanner Boyd is the 18th man. That's the team news for the Dolphins and the Titans, and that's the game you'll hear with Chris Warren at about 5 past 4 this afternoon. Now it's time for PointsBet's new NRL experience. Chances are you're about to lose. For free and confidential support, visit gamblinghelponline.org.au. Yes, and George Rose is our man from PointsBet, and he's on the line. Hey, George.

Hey, boys. Now, mate, did you get your same game multi up last night like you did on Friday? I absolutely did. What price last night was it, mate?

I can't tell. I don't think I can tell you. Put it this way, I've been house hunting in the Cronulla. You're going to need to have an all-upper today if you're going to do that, mate. That's how well I'm doing, mate. We've got to give some credit to you, though. He's done well. Every year we do our little same-game multis and all that sort of thing, but I don't think anyone's had as much success as you.

in my time on this show so congratulations to you mate and hopefully the listeners are following you in so let's have a look at this one Dolphins $1.40 with points bet Titans $2.90 Battle of the Point Scorers on this Sunday afternoon so you think there might be a few how do you see it panning out George?

Well, look, I like to save my good ones for when I'm talking to you boys. I always give you the good ones. So I think this will be a really good game. I like the Dolphins. The Titans are hot and cold, but the Dolphins, I really like them this year. And I reckon Wayne Bennett has had such a big influence on them. Yeah, he certainly has. All right, same game, Malty?

I want tries in this one. I want the speedsters. I've got Lofi, Khan, Pereira, any time try scorer. Oh, man, isn't he fast? Oh, mate, he is lightning. Only Blakey might be quicker than him. He's the hammer, and I've got him as well. Hammer, any time try scorer, and Jack Bostock, any time try scorer. All right, so Khan, Pereira, Bostock, and Hammer, any time try scorers for Georgie's same-game multi. You enjoy your Sunday, George, and we'll catch up next week.

Will do, boys. Have a great day. There he is, George Rose from Pointsbit. Imagine what you could be buying instead for free and confidential support. Visit gamblinghelponline.org.au. Yes, Brainy? Can I ask a same-game multi-question? Yes. Okay. So yesterday I put $100 into my tab account.

And I turned it into 50. Yeah, it's easy done. Yeah, by losing on the horses. So then I went to the Roosters match last night. I thought, you know what? I'm just going to try and turn this back into 150 or something. So I had two conservative multis, right? Two conservative multis. I had a multi for $20 on these three try scorers.

Tupo, no, sorry, it was these three. Dominic Young, Tom Travojevic, Jason Saab, right? $20 on that. That was $5. And I also had a $30 multi, Tupo and Saab. Now, Saab went off with the head knock in the first half. So the tab refunded.

the $20 bet on Young, Trubojevic and Saab to score. Because you get a refund if they go off with a head injury. Yeah, it was void. But they didn't refund the Tupou and Saab bet. They kept the $30.

Bagging the tab again. There's this bloke that rings up all the time and starts bagging the tab. I'm not bagging the tab. I'm not bagging the tab. But I wondered whether because it was two players, I didn't get the money back or... So the same bet you had Saab, right? Is that right? Yeah, I had two people on Saab. One of them you got refunded and the other one you didn't. Yeah. Well, I think that's wrong. Do you reckon they made an error? Well, I think if they're refunding one for Saab, they should refund every bet on Saab. Have you given them a ring? If they're doing that. No, I'm not going to give them a ring over 30 bucks. I couldn't be bothered. Oh, okay. Fair enough.

You just sound like every other disgruntled partner out there. Give Hannah $10 and she'll do it for you. Yeah. Hey, Hannah, can you read the tab and get that $30 back for me? You know what Hannah really annoyed me before the show? No way. She had a chargrilled Charlie's chicken schnitzel roll. How good. Sounds good. It just looks so good. It just annoyed me. That's all I want to say. And she ate it all. She ate it all. Yeah. Yeah.

And when Levy's Uber Eats wasn't turning up in time, she offered it to Levy. Wasn't that nice? What a team. She's a good chick. Yeah. She's a good chick. But then the Uber Eats dude was here early, so... It was nice, too. Very nice. 131873, the number. Hi, Mark and boys. Regarding great music, did you know that Mick Jagger sang backup vocals on Carly Simon's You're So Vain? His voice is very identifiable. What's the most important thing about him?

Once you know, in the Olympics, I so hope Jess Fox and Shane Rose do well in their individual events. They are both fantastic. Thank you, Dawn. Didn't people think it was about Mick Jagger at one point?

The song? Yes, they did, I think. I think we looked that up a few weeks ago. It was Carly Simon. Carly Simon. It's a great song, wasn't it? It's one of the great songs. It's like there's a great trivia question about Daryl Braithwaite's The Horses. Yeah. Is it Melissa Etheridge? Ricky Lee Jones wrote it. So, no, in Daryl Braithwaite's version, the woman who sings the vocals isn't actually the woman in the film clip. I know who it is. I know who it is. It was a lady from New Zealand. Yes.

It wasn't Melissa Etheridge. She's a model or something. No, the model was in the film clip. That's what I mean. Margaret Ehrlich. Margaret Ehrlich, that's it. Margaret Ehrlich sang it. Yep, there you are. You're clever. You are a music trivia genius. Wow. No, I want to explain my music knowledge. I watched Countdown religiously on Saturday and Sunday nights when I was a kid.

And then I watched video hits on, you know, Channel 10 and clips on Channel 9 religiously when I was a late teenager in my 20s because I was hungover every Saturday and Sunday morning. You know what we might have to do? See, Dave, there is something about that suit because Davey used to do this segment. Now on the continuous call team, DJ Crazy Dave's Music Trivia.

I can give you some music trivia. Do you want something? You'd be better than Dave. He hated music. He was good. He used to do it on his Macquarie sports radio show. He was a great music trivia man. He hated Americans, America, music. He hated all that stuff. Hello, boy. I know all sorts of stupid things like about...

You know, like, okay, Dire Straits' Money for Nothing, you know, the song about, you know, money for nothing and the chicks for free if you're in a rock and roll band. Mark Knopfler wrote that because he was in a HMV in the early days of HMV, and he actually heard two removalists saying all those things, and he wrote it all down. You know, all you've got to do is get on the MTV and you get all this money, and he wrote it all down and he turned it into a song. I just think it's genius that they do that. I think...

I think that a lot of that's, I listened to a thing when I was driving in yesterday on the Beatles. I love the Beatles. Yeah. And just some of the behind the scenes stuff they were saying about the Beatles and, you know, the meaning of some of their songs. And the concepts that were in their head. Just comes from really nothing. Yeah. Just things that they were involved in in life and,

for example, I think they were saying that the song Help was actually a cry for help because they weren't used to the stardom. Yeah. You know, they weren't used to the attention they were getting. It's amazing. You know, and...

It was amazing. Jeez, it was interesting. I loved the Beatles. That's fascinating. Like in Bruce Springsteen's book, he presented the record company born in the USA, the album, and they loved it. But they said to him, there's no single. And he was real dirty. It's all in his book. He was filthy about it. And his manager sided with the record company. He's still got that manager and said, there isn't a single. And they said, since you've had...

Your last album out and now MTV started and you just need a big pop rock single and you need a big film clip. Right? We don't think it's here in this collection of songs. So he went home and he had a ditty in his head and overnight he wrote and put a demo down without sleeping and

of Dancing in the Dark. Wow. Really? And Dancing in the Dark, it's, you know, hey, baby, and all that stuff. It's actually about the record company. Yeah. It's about you can't start a fire without a spark. This gun's for hire, and we're just dancing in the dark. You're worried about your little world falling. It was about them. This is good stuff. Wow. Yeah, yeah, it's all about. So when you listen to that song, you go, yeah, he's jamming the record company. And he came in and said, cop that, boys. Wow.

Well, did you see the movie about Queen? I love knowing that. Did you see the movie about Queen when they first... Oh, yes. I loved it. It was fantastic because I love Queen. But the movie about them was just showing them when they wrote... What was the song? Where We'll Rock You. Oh, any of them. But they went in there and they said, this isn't going to work. And they said, yeah, it is going to work. It's going to be on the song. And they ended up going with it. And it ended up being...

You know, what's the one that went for seven minutes? Bohemian Rhapsody. Oh, that's right. Originally, they said, well, this is not going to work. And the record company was saying, what's a Scaramouche? They said, don't worry about it. Scaramouche, Scaramouche. When you do the fandango. Fantastic. Very, very frightening. They wanted it.

Because they were graduating out of, you know, little theatres into bigger theatres. They wanted a song, the Queen, that the crowd could sing. And all they had was one, two, three. One, two, three. And they sounded into We Will Rock You. That's unreal, isn't it? I see a little silhouette on the man's caramouche. Can we do the fandango? Thunderbolts of lightning, very, very frightening. Hallelujah.

Galileo. Galileo. But it was so abstract. So unique at the start. So abstract. You know? Very good. Good on them. All right. We'll take a break. Be back with more. 28-4. Penrith leads in Georgia. Lawara, 70 minutes left in the second half. Welcome back. Continuous call team. 28-4. Penrith leads in Georgia. Lawara, 15 minutes left in the second half. Now, gentlemen, a couple of people here on the email...

Well, before we get to that, it's the cardboard beds in Paris they wanted us to talk about. Oh, yeah. But Andrew Lucas, our executive producer slash barista, has actually made your boy some coffees, has he? He has, because in the kitchen now, there's the new Fandango coffee machine. Fandango coffee machine. Thunderbolts of lightning. Anyway.

And I challenged our executive producer, Andrew, to make ourselves a coffee. Hang on, can I tell the back story? Yeah, we need to go to the back story. I got Andrew one day just to make me a coffee, like with a spoon of coffee in it. Like a Nescafe 43. He put two spoons of Nescafe 43 in it. He made it an 86. It was actually a 129. There were three scoops in there. It really blew my head off. And he said, you know, I was a barista in my early days. I said, well, mate, you're not showing much promise here. Yeah.

It's one of the worst coffees I've ever had. You can smell those coffees from the other side of the studio. Piggy challenged him today.

And I've got to say, this is quite nice. Four stars out of five. Surprisingly good. Yes. He's learned from his mistakes. Really? But you know what the good thing is now? It's a very fancy looking coffee machine. Now that he knows how to make them, the expectations have risen. Well, how long is that coffee machine staying there? Do you know how to make them on those coffee machines? No, I haven't learnt that yet. No, I don't want to learn it. We've had the coffee machines forever at home, probably 10 years, I reckon, and they're

I still don't know how to make them. You put the little thing in the coffee pod, pull it down or whatever, and then from that moment on, I'm lost. What, how to push the button? Well, that's what I let Darling do. That's all you have to do. You push the big button on the sport. She's been pressing your buttons for years. Now, what happened in the break...

I videoed the ceremonial first tasting of the Andrew coffee, and he's going to post it on X for us on social media. And the listeners will see that there's major controversy about these coffees, though. Oh, yes, there is. Well. Piggies, coffee, had the love heart shape in the milk at the top. The froth. And Big Bud's had it like a blob. Like a dog poop. Yeah. Yeah.

Well, I guess he likes piggy better than me. So there's drama there. And you know what else, which I found most disappointing? What? There was no chocolate sprinkled on the top. Well, you ordered a flat white. You ordered a cappuccino. Oh, did you order a cappuccino? A little chocolate and maybe a little bicky or something? I think you should have little chocolate bits on every bit of coffee. Do you get a little bonus biscuit at Pronto with your coffee? Of course. Or a marshmallow? No. Oh, here's my biscuit. Oh, Andrew, what about me? He just brought in a Tim Tam. Good job, Andrew.

I'll tell you what, I will say this. I've actually got two gold medal performers in here. Gene and Poppy, who are looking after us here in Sydney. Oh, hello. Poppy, who works downstairs, and Gene, who's up here in our promotions area. Is Poppy an old guy? No, it's a woman. A young woman. You're an idiot. They've organised... You are an idiot.

Seriously. I don't know, Gene. They've organised a whole heap of little nibblies, a popcorn machine, breakfast cereals. It's great. Amazing. You boys, there's deodorants over there as well. I don't know if they're trying to tell us something. No, they're not everywhere. Not everywhere. I've got one. I'm taking one home. Excuse me? Taking one home. It's for the Olympic team.

Hello, what did you think I meant? Hello, me too. Have you got one yet, pig? No, it's me. The Olympic team does not need 45 things of deodorant. Exactly. Oh, Maxie, maybe you do, you and Billy Woods. You know what? I've now realised that I'm turning into Bozo. Pinching everything. There's a lot of Tim Tams out there. Alan's at Malula Bar. Hello, Alan. Hey, boys. How are you, mate? Good, mate.

I think Neil Breen is obviously a music genius. He knows so many trivia facts. Certain things. He's got a special segment on the show, I call it, where listeners ring in with an obscure fact and call it Bamboozle Breeny. Yes, I like it. I like it a lot. Mate, I think Alan, and I love Malula Bart, have you got one that might be able to bamboozle him just off the bat? Oh, no.

You sound like you're a music nothing. Not off the top of my head. Or the original singer of the song The Lion Sleeps Tonight. The Lion Sleeps Tonight. That's a great song. I'll bet it's a poppy. Whee!

I reckon it's way before my era. He's going to have a crack though, Alan. He's pretty good, this bloke. He's stinking. Yeah, yeah, yeah. And truth be told, I can't remember the top of my head. That's all right. I can Google it. Okay, so it's going to be called Bamboozle Breaning. I'm going to go for Harry Belafonte.

No, no, no, definitely not. No, it's not. Mate, you need to get one. When we were playing Stump the Grump with Davey. The 60s of that aren't going to get me. I'm not going to be able to handle the 60s. You need to get your phone out when we were stumping the Grump with Davey. He'd be on Google. He would have padded by now and had the answer. Let me think about that one, G-double-O. The Bamboozle Breaning's gone well. I like Bamboozle Breaning. The Lion Sleeps Tonight is a song originally written and recorded by Solomon Linder.

Solomon Linda. When was it written and recorded? 1939. Oh, my God. Good work from you. Asmalloolaba, mate. His bear booze was one that was written before my dad was born.

Mate, Malula Bar. Tell the fans how good Malula Bar is. It's beautiful. It's not paradise, but it's the suburb next door. That surf club right on the beach. Pretty good. Very nice. Pretty good. But just don't ever have a beer and go in the surf there because it dumps right on the sand. Bang!

Alan, thank you. Hey, Alan, stay there for me, mate. I want to send you an Amazon Echo Smart speaker, the new generation Echo Show 5 smart display. You can have your chance to win. You can grab yours now, amazon.com.au forward slash Echo Show 5. And congratulations to you, Alan. You've won one right now. So congratulations. Stay there. We'll get your details, and it is coming your way. Well, you know what? If you want to bamboozle Bruni with some music trivia, I reckon we should put the great man under the pump. But you can't bamboozle me with something...

from 1939. Yes, exactly. If you want the segment, just toughen up. It's Bamboozle Brainy. It's not Bamboozle Brainy with an asterisk. It's Bamboozle Brainy. Oh, yeah. Who wrote the Civil War Anthem blah blah in 1872? Stop being so negative.

Give us a call, 131873. If you want a bamboozle, Brainy, do it. Do it now. It's got to be music trivia, folks. So if you've got some music trivia for Brainy, 131873. And you know what? If it's a cracking question, I'll give you a signed footy jersey. I'm in a generous way. What team? Continuous Call Day. Oh. One of our signed jerseys. I haven't signed them. So...

You're still doing a probation. 12-month probation period. You're no good thing to be in there. Or is it from my favourite movie, Animal House, double secret probation.

All right. It's lighting up like a Christmas tree. If you've got any music trivia to not stump the grump, not stump Davey, to bamboozle Brainy. Bamboozling Brainy comes up after the news. 32 points to four after the break, I should say. 32 points to four. Penrith leading St. George and Lawara. That's with a kick to come on the way to the break. Let's go to an Olympic update.

Good day, Max White here with your Paris Olympic update.

Jessica Fox will be out to avenge her Tokyo demons and win gold in the women's K1 canoe slalom final. Fox won bronze in Tokyo after picking up a penalty for touching a gate. The Matildas will also be out to avenge their horror 3-0 drubbing at the hands of Germany in their opener. They'll take on Zambia in the early hours of tomorrow morning. In Rugby 7s, the Aussie women, who are among the favourites to win gold, will begin their campaign...

In the pool, Molly O'Callaghan and Ariana Titmuss are among the big names in action. Day two at Roland Garros will see Alexey Poprin make his Olympic tennis debut, while Ayla Tomljanovic will take on world number two Coco Gauff. And the medal tally is a good one, if you're Aussie that is. Five medals, including three gold, have us on top of the table

ahead of China and the US. I'm Max White. That's the latest from the Paris Olympics. That metal telly update was thanks to Toyota, Australian Olympic and Paralympic team partner. Oh, what a feeling.

Nathan Cleary about to convert his third try. He does so. So 40 points to four. Penrith leading St. George and Lewara with six and a half minutes left in the second half. Hi, Mark. How are you? I'm very well. A bit stressed out, but how are you? Now, I was lucky enough to win the tickets on Friday on Ben's show to your restaurant. And my husband and I went on Friday night, and I thought the food was absolutely amazing. Oh, thank you, Margaret. There was a bit of a wait, and we understood that. There were other people carrying on and on, and I said, oh, for God's sake, it's the first night. Yeah.

Just wait for the food. Look at all the others coming. It looks amazing. We had garlic prawns and stuffed mushrooms for entree. Amazing. But I had a schnitzel. I had to bring half of it home. Well, Margaret, I thank you for calling through first and foremost. And the issue on that opening night was we...

We've enlisted the services of this booking company, right? And you rely on technology. You're doomed to fail. Oh, you'd see it on the online. So what was happening was people were booking online and the stupid system that we're using was cancelling out other people who had already booked. So that's why it was chaos on the other night. I couldn't praise it enough. The atmosphere was beautiful. I went and sat at another table for 15 minutes and told a few jokes. Oh, good.

But anyway, it was wonderful and I hope one time you'll be there when we come and we can have a drink with you. Well, Margaret, I hope Oliver looked after you, obviously. He was lovely. This is the issue though, Margaret. I mean, Olympic Games and football and everything else at the moment, I can't

I just can't be there. But once I get through the Olympics, I'll be there pretty much most of the time. So if you can come down again, I'd love to meet you. Okay. Thank you again. Awesome, Margaret. Thanks so much for coming down and saying g'day. And I'm glad you enjoyed the food. 131873, the number. And if you're after a job, and I know there's plenty of people looking for jobs. We need chefs. We desperately need people. Andrew's at Londonderry. Hello, Andrew. How you going, boys? Good, mate. Yeah, I've got one for Brainy. Bamboozle Brainy. Bamboozle Brainy. Okay, what's he got? All right. So who is the lady that sings Back Up in the song James Rain Hammerhead? Oh, I actually know that. Who is it? It's Olivia Newton-John.

Oh, it is, yeah. Oh! I knew it. I knew that. Greeny won. Because you never knew. But I read that. I only read that after she died. Yeah, like, and then I went back and listened to it. Yeah, it sounds like her. So you're a big reader, are you? Yeah. Like, I read a lot. Yeah.

I read a hell of a lot of newspapers and things, and then I go and, I don't know, and I have, I just piece things together. All right. Thank you, Andrew. Unfortunately, you have not bamboozled Brainy. No bamboozling. No bamboozling. We'll try one more before we go to another break. Andrew at Breakfast Point. Hello, Andrew. Hello. Hello, mate. You're on the line.

What early 80s Aussie band had a one-hit wonder with Don't Fall In Love? Good question. Don't Fall In Love.

Brady's falling in love with the school. Don't distract him. Concentrate. Don't fall in love. 80s, one-hit wonder. One-hit wonder. I think I know how it goes. It goes like this. Falling in love again. Isn't it falling in love? No, that's not it. Tell us how it goes. Andrew, you have to sing to us how it goes. I'm not going to sing it, mate. Just answer the question. Well said, mate. Well done, Andrew. Get up him. Yeah. Yeah.

You want the answer? Yeah. Nah, you bamboozled me. The answer's The Ferrets. The Ferrets. Oh, The Ferrets. Oh, you bamboozled him. Look, Piggy knew that. Oh, Piggy knew it. Google. Yep. There it is. Here's The Ferrets. Piggy wanted to join that band in the 90s. Oh, good song. Good song.

Don't fall in love. That's out, guys. Can you just sing the words in a tricky song? She's a good singer, the leader of the parents. She has all the squirrels.

Anyway, there you go. That was a good one. Well done, Andrew. Good on you, Andrew. Stay there, mate. We'll send you a signed footy jersey from Create Merchandise. We're off to a break. We'll come back with more. 46-4 Penrith leading St. George of Leroy. Two minutes left in the second half. Mark Levy, Neil Breen, Darrell Broman and Mark Piggy-Riddell, the Continuous Call team. Look, Jake in Canberra at Braddon's been a regular contributor to this program via the email and text message, and I've never had a problem with Jake, but I have a significant problem with him this afternoon. What's happened?

Because he's been abusing me on the email. That's it, Mark Levy. I'm putting in a complaint to management about you. You treat Big Man Piggy and Neil Breen with disrespect. You talk over the top of them and have the final say in everything. You treat the loyal listeners like absolute garbage. Well, Jake, I'm sorry. I vehemently disagree with you. As the host of the show, sometimes they need to be pulled into line if they say things that

step over the mark. I do not disrespect listeners and try not to, but I will be disrespective to you if you continue to call me a jerk via the email. Go away, you grub. 131873, the number, 2GB.com. Can you please get him to say unbelievable a few more times? Just can't hear it enough. Stop it. Oh, it was unbelievable. It was a very gutsy performance. Tell you what, it's been an unbelievable display.

You're unbelievable.

Well, it was a huge kick. It was unbelievable. They can't do anything wrong. Unbelievable display. That was unbelievable stuff. Oh, it's unbelievable. What a comeback. How good is this? It's unbelievable. We get an unbelievable from Piggy. Just one. This is unbelievable. Oh!

Oh, it's unbelievable, Mark. Oh, how good is this voice? It's unbelievable. That's unbelievable. This is unbelievable. I think he's got a response. Can we see what he's got to say about this wonderful email? Big boy, come in. Mate, it's unbelievable. How good is it? You're unbelievable. You're unbelievable.

Yes, one of Piggy's greats, just to cheer us up. Full-time, 46 points to 10. So the Dragons technically can still win the comp because they didn't concede 50. That's the old running thing, isn't it? You concede 50, you can't win the comp. Still a chance. But Nathan Cleary had a standout performance yet again. 46 points to 10. Penrith over St. George-Lawarra.

full-time in that match there. 131873 is the number, 2GB.com. Click onto the feedback icon. And as far as the Lowe's digital gift card is concerned, the Sunday footy quiz, well done to you, Scotty, at Quakers Hill. You've won the Lowe's digital gift card worth $150. They're very good. You can buy good quality stuff at a reasonable price. Good brand. They're good guys. 131873 is the number, 2GB.com. Look, there's a lot of people defending me. Look, you

I'm hoping Jake's just having a bad day because I just had a look at some of our email correspondence over the years and we've got along like a, you know, gone along really well but for some reason today he's just off me. So anyway, I'm a big boy, I can cop things but

No one deserves to cop some of the rubbish that he's saying on the email to me, so there you are. Probably doesn't help that I'm a little tired and cranky today as well. 131873 0460 873 873 if you'd like to join us. Now, there is a story by Danny Wydler in the Herald today about the baseball bat that we saw in the New South Wales dressing room.

This is the behind-the-scenes photo that represents everything Michael Maguire was hoping to achieve in his time as Blues coach. It's also the most unlikely image you could have imagined eight weeks ago before New South Wales started its now successful State of Origin campaign. The bat is a legendary prop Maguire used in his coaching days at South Sydney. He wanted his players to hit the Queenslanders like they were wielding baseball bats.

The Trebojevic pose says it all when it comes to buying into the Maguire method. Maguire had to pay $4,000 out of his own pocket after damaging a wall using a baseball bat in the dressing room in the lead-up to a game against Manly. This was just one of the many methods he used. Piggy, did you ever come across Madge and his baseball bat? I can understand it, yeah. I can understand it. We had a lot of different...

What would you say? We had a lot of different themes that were brought up for sort of periods through the year. So, you know, he might group together a certain amount of games, might be three or four games and have a certain theme. And, you know, towards the end in the finals, we had a theme.

I've told the story about the urn for the grand final week before. You mean like doing functions and stuff? The urn, yeah. I got ahead. I got ahead in that one. That was a good one. The ears pricked up there. How good is grand final week? Can I ask this, Piggy? Do you find that type of thing... Because I...

I cringed a bit at the baseball bat. I thought it was a bit elementary, but, you know, they won the series, so who am I?

Do all the players buy in or sometimes the players go, this one's a bit odd? I loved it. You loved it? I loved it. Was it a distraction for your mind? But it's just another way of looking at things. I don't know if I've told this one before. We had a game, I think it was through the final series in 2010, where he showed us David Attenborough documentary on wild dogs. Wow.

And the theme of it was that we're going to hunt like a pack of wild dogs. And we watched these wild dogs in Africa strategically work together in unison to bring down the prey.

And that was the theme behind it. And that became your thing. That was our theme. When we're out there, we're hunting like a wild pack of dogs. And it worked. I love it. Yeah, great. You know, there's a lot more to it. Yeah, yeah, yeah. That's the top line. The gist of it is that was it. That's the top line. Yeah, and I enjoyed that sort of coaching. Great. Yeah, good. All right. Fantastic. Now, boys, we've got to take one last break for the footy. So let's get your tips. McDonald's, make it McSmart with the new McSmart meal from Macca's. Two burgers, small fries.

and a small soft drink for 695 Ts and Cs apply. A tip, a first try scorer for First National Real Estate and a play to watch for Maccas. Big Martin, who are you tipping this afternoon? I'm tipping the Dolphins. First try scorer, well, it's pretty obvious to me, Tabui Fadeau. Player I'd really like to see. I think he's an outstanding prospect.

is Katoa, the halfback for the Dolphins. I think he's a good player. All right, Mark, pick your redoubt. Yeah, I'm tipping the Dolphins as well. My first try scorer, I'm going with the Shell Arbor Stingray, Jack Bostock. Player to watch, Tevita Pangai Jr. I want to see him fire up. Neil Breen, who are you tipping? I'm going for the Titans this afternoon. And I am going to say first try scorer, because I looked at your notes before you changed it. Khan Pereira. And the player to watch for me is...

Surely he fires David Vafida. All right. Okay. Beautiful. I'll be back a little bit later on tonight for the Olympics. So Chris Warren will be in here to call the footy. We'll take one last break. Neil Breen is going to take over and run the show through until seven before I come back on air. Thank you, gentlemen. We'll take that last break. When we return, all the footy coming through from Suncorp Stadium.
