2-0 Queensland leading New South Wales. Just before we get down to Piggy, the big talking point in the first half, Darrell, was the blue down on the sideline. I think there's merit in what Daley Cherry Evans said to the referee. And, you know, I once ran around as a Junior Rugby League referee and I was always told that if anyone joined from the bench, it was an automatic send-off. So I think this will be a big talking point at full time.

I imagine, I don't know whether you've... Did he come from the bench? I think he did. Yep. I think he did come from the bench. You can't do that. I mean, and Cherry Evans is 100% right. And he explained it to the referee, and I think the referee basically pooped himself, to be honest with you.

I think, and I don't know who they took off instead of him if he was already on the bench, but Cameron Murray's better than that. He should know better than that. You shouldn't be coming off, Barnett it might have been, yeah, but you shouldn't be coming off the bench to get involved in those things. That's just not on, and professional footballers don't do that. He shouldn't have done it, and to be honest, I agree with

with Cherry Evans. I think Cherry Evans got it absolutely right and the ref didn't. I'm sure it's been the big talking point down at ground level. Let's bring in Mark Piggy, Riddell, Queensland 2, New South Wales 0. That's the big controversy in the first half, Piggy. Yeah, it is, mate. Obviously with Cameron Murray and where he came from, he ran up that sideline from the New South Wales bench. So it all sort of

transpired just to the right of me where Jeremiah Nene came in and tackled Jerome Luai from memory from the back and then it started then Cameron Murray came running as well obviously the bunker have picked up Cameron Murray so we're going to hear more about that boys honestly I'm down here at ground level I'm on the sidelines I've never seen a first half like that I don't think the intensity the speed the hits

The passages of play without a break in that first sort of period of the game, it was just phenomenal. Every set of six, the line speed, both teams just sprinting off their line and just throwing everything at the opposition defensively. It was phenomenal. On the game itself, I think New South Wales have had about nearly 60% of possession.

So as Darrell mentioned, that's going to take a lot out of the Queensland side in the second half. But I just think this crowd, the Suncorp Stadium crowd, packed full of Queenslanders, it's just got them up. It's lifted them tonight. It's got them up. And I think that can lift them in that second half. So whilst they may be tired, I think this Queensland crowd are going to get right behind them in the second half. Piggy, we just had a look at the replay of the brawl. Ray's had a closer inspection of it. Ray, quite clearly Murray...

runs down the touchline and joins in. No, not about it. And the next problem is, he's sinned, but you can't sin him because he's not on the field. So who makes the arbitrary decision? It's Barnett. I mean, you know, obviously the bench made the decision or the coach made the decision, but I'll tell you who else was in the middle of it. Poor old Jonathan Furst. LAUGHTER

I mean, he wasn't doing anything, but they were all round the edge, easy with the channel nine, Mike, poor old Jonathan. And there's blokes around him left, right and centre. I'm not suggesting in any way, shape or form that Jonathan got involved, but you can't miss his head. He just popped up. But there's no doubt that it'll be the subject of much discussion no matter what happens, simply because what do you do in that situation? I've got absolutely no idea. You've got the player, the sin bin, who's actually not on the field.
