Odetta (1930-2008) was a folk icon whose songs were the soundtrack of the protest movement of the 50s and 60s. She influenced a generation of musicians then and now.

These diverse women from across space and time are grouped into easily accessible and engaging monthly themes like Educators, Villains, Indigenous Storytellers, Activists, and many more. Womanica is hosted by WMN co-founder and award-winning journalist Jenny Kaplan. The bite-sized episodes pack painstakingly researched content into fun, entertaining, and addictive daily adventures.
