What's up, guys? It's Sam and Taylor. And we want you to put your shoes on. Pop open that energy drink. And go.

What's up guys? Welcome back. Happy Monday. Yeah, Monday. It's Taylor's birthday. It's my birthday. I'm 21. I can now legally drink and talk about it on the internet. It's funny because we're like talking into existence right now. Yeah, it's my birthday week. It's Saturday. Um, but I mean, I've made the conclusion. I celebrated last week. And I mean, I feel like if it's in the week, it was like my best friend's birthday the week before. So like, I've just been celebrating for two weeks. Um,

Yeah, I don't really care. It was a week before my 21st birthday, but I was still like, I'm going to post something. I turned 21 in a week. I think it's okay. We do not condone underage drinking, but let's be real here, you know. Yeah, we got to be like realistic. Yeah, let's be realistic. But I think there's a difference between like a 16-year-old and someone turning 21 in like a week. 100%. I think that's very different. But yeah, it's my birthday. That's kind of cool. I get to stop telling... I feel like once I can say I'm 21, I'm like not as little.

Because when I meet people, I'm like, I'm 20. And they're like, you can't even drink? And I'm like, no. Yeah, we'd even be on the river on Lady Bird. We'd be out drinking and we'd meet someone and we'd be like, oh, how old do you guys think we are? And then you would say your age and people would be like, what? You're a baby. You shouldn't be here. And I'm just like, what? I'm like, no, it's okay. Yeah, right? Yeah.

But yeah, it's my birthday when you're listening to this. So DM me happy birthday, obviously. No, I'm kidding. Oh my God. No, I'm kidding. No, that would actually like flood my shit. Oh yeah. It's going to be a good weekend. And then we both go home for Thanksgiving right after you're listening to this. So a lot of moving around and doing things, which is a little stressful, but trying to stay...

Just like enjoying the moment. Yeah. Let's also keep in mind what we just did before we podcast. We both sat down and I was like, I want something sweet right now. So Taylor and I literally got in my car and drove all the way to, not all the way, all the way down the street. Yeah. It's like half a mile away and we both got Olipops. So we're sitting here drinking those. If Olipop, anybody that has an in at Olipop, let us know because we would love to

To be sponsored by them or even get like some type of ads on here for them because we love them. Or just some PR. Or a PR, yeah. These things are expensive. Like give us, ooh, give us a code so that we can get the girls some, you know, discounts. True. When they order them online. And, okay, that's what we're drinking, but what are we wearing? Oh, yeah, what are we wearing? They already know. Merch, baby.

Yes, if you haven't seen it already, we announced it on Sunday at what, 1 p.m. Central Standard Time? Now it's over 24 hours in and we have merch that is the launch. So if you have not seen anything or been up to date with it, definitely immediately run to the Instagram. All their information will be on there. Yes, so we have everything. Everything comes in black and white, so you can pick whichever one. We got hoodies, crewnecks, and t-shirts. Something for everyone. We got the classic shorts on leg day. We got a nice no bullshit situation.

super just like fun and simple. You can definitely wear them even if like they don't say our name all over them. Like it says our name kind of tiny on the back. One of them, the shorts on Leg Day Crew Neck doesn't say our name or F Word Podcast.

Yeah. So we just wanted to have one that like, you know, maybe you don't want to like, maybe you don't like us that much, but you like the shorts on leg day. Especially if someone was just like at the gym and they didn't know who we were and you were wearing our merch. If someone was like, oh, like, where'd you get that? And you said, same tale. Well, they don't want something that's going to say our name on it if they don't know who we are. So like if they want, you know, shorts on leg day, there you go. You got it. It's a lifestyle. Yeah.

Yeah, I really like how they came out. I am obsessed with the designs. I think they're sick. I just think they're so cool. Like the hoodie, I feel like a dude could wear it. It's cool. It's really cool stuff.

And this is just the beginning. I don't know which one my favorite is, but I really, really love the back of the one you're wearing, the no bullshit fitness uncensored on the back. It says see you on Friday fuckers with our little like signatures. I love Sam and Taylor. I think that one's so cute. You know, okay, this is actually kind of funny and I wanted to talk about this. Someone DM me and they were like, I always laugh at the end of the podcast because it sounds like you're saying see you on Friday fuckers. And I was like, that's...

That is what we said. Yeah. I don't know if you guys think like, haha, sounds like you say fuck. We do. Like, I don't know what you guys, if you're like, wait, what? I never noticed that. That's what we say at the end of the podcast. Um, cause we've been trying, when we started this podcast, we're like, we need to ease into like cursing on it. Cause like, hello, the F word. Like it's, you know, fuck. Well, look at our new goddamn frigging whatever art.

It has a middle finger on it now. Oh, our new art. We haven't talked about that. Yeah. We have new art too. Merch, new art. It's my birthday. I got a new car. It's very... There's a lot going on. There's a lot going on. It's chaotic. But a lot of good things. It's cool. And top of that, two a week. So it's like... Can you guys keep up? I hope you guys can keep up with everything that's going on. Yeah, I know we're like overwhelming you. Yeah.

But the new cover art is dope. Sam's graphic design degree really came out in that one. She made it, if you're wondering. It was Sam. Yeah. And yeah, it's great. It is. It's so good. It's so much more us, so much more mature because I know some of you are maybe a little bit young, but we want to make sure our audience, like, you know, we want to build that, like, older audience too because especially...

The advice we give, we're not really targeting it to young, very young. Obviously, some of it is because we want them to be healthy. But in terms of tracking macros and lifting six times a week, you don't need to be doing that at 16. So we want to make sure that we're girls more our age. Exactly. And just keep it a little bit more mature and more us and not put on... Not that we were putting on a front, but just let it...

Let it all out. Like, anything we want and just, like, be ourselves and not really care. I have no filter with my swearing. I'll be honest. I swear a lot. You guys might not even notice it on the podcast, like, because sometimes I'd be careful, but I do swear a lot. I don't swear in front of my family. I'm sorry. I'm just going to apologize to your parents real quick. No, because I swear so much on this. They swear. My parents swear. My siblings swear. I just, I'm the youngest, so I've always been, like,

to kind of do those things. I'm the baby. So it's like, I'm not supposed to, like, I'm the little one. Like, I can't just be, like, grown up. Like, I'm the baby. I'm the child. So it's just been weird for me. But, I mean, now they listen to this. Like, I have a sweatshirt with my name that says fuckers on it. So...

Yeah. My dad saw it and he was like, oh my goodness, how could you ever do that? I was like, it's just our branding. It's not like, I don't know. Don't take it too serious. No, it's funny. Yeah. It's just funny. And it's bleeped out with an asterisk. Yeah. So...

It says bullshit on the front. God, it's so cute. It's so cute, guys. I really like it, and it's really nice. I think it's pretty good quality. Like, it's nice. Oh, yeah, definitely. Especially, like, we work out outside, so, like, the sweatshirts are definitely a must for us right now, but down the road, we'll definitely come out with more things, but the sweatshirts and t-shirts, go-tos. Yeah, we're going to come out with way more. This is just the start, obviously, for us to come out with more. You guys have got to show the support on this one for us to keep doing it, so...

Definitely get your hands on it. If you know someone that listens, this is a great Christmas gift. Okay? Fantastic Christmas gift if they listen to our content. Just saying. Yep. You get a matching one with your friend. That's super cute. Oh, and one thing we should also mention is, you know, don't hold off with the orders too. Like, order as soon as you can.

I know financially sometimes it can be a little bit difficult for yourself, but I think the price ranges are not too bad. No, it's not too bad. But just keep in mind, try to order it as soon as you can. Yeah, because they're made to order, so they're made in batches. So let's say, I'm not sure exactly how long they are, but it's not like it's made and they have one sitting on a shelf and put it in a box for you. It's like they have to make the sweatshirt for you. But yeah, and just keep in mind with merch, obviously it is reasonably priced and we're not out here selling $100 sweatshirts.

But you have to just keep in mind with merch, like even though it may be like a tad more expensive than something you could buy at the store, you're supporting, like it's more so to like support someone who you want to support. Obviously you could probably find a cheaper crew neck somewhere, but it's about supporting someone and you know, like you got to make profit off things. So that's just why, that's why merch is typically a little bit more expensive because you're supporting someone and putting money to like a...

Something you care about. Yeah. So. Yeah. But we're really excited about the website. Looks really sick. It does. The website's really cool. Yeah. It's exciting. First. We haven't really kept to the secret for that long. It's been only like two weeks. But all those photos we did. We did it on a Saturday. Right. Was it a Saturday or Sunday? No. Sunday. And we just like couldn't post any of the photos. But the photos were so cute. We obviously posted them the day of the launch. But. Very exciting.

Okay, so yeah, merch. You guys should get that. It's been out for like a day already. You need to place your order right now. ASAP Rocky. You can do it while you're listening to this. I was going to say close it out, but you can keep it playing. So that is that, obviously. I don't really know what else to catch up on.

I don't know. There's not really much. I was going to catch up about, like, this stupid TikTok shit, but I'm not even going to give it attention on here. He doesn't deserve our attention. No, but that's, like, the only thing that happened yesterday. We went on a cute little... There's such a cute little place in Texas to watch the sunset. What's it called? Mount... Mount Bonneau. Mount Bonneau. So pretty. We drove through a really rich neighborhood, and we decided we're going to get a house there. Yeah, we're finessing this. It's happening. Like, we just were picturing ourselves, like, both living, like...

like relatively the same neighborhood and just like, yeah, our kids like, Hey, run over to Taylor's house real quick. Like going out with their kids.

Yeah, and, like, I think I could see myself living here. Like, the neighborhoods are so cute. That's what we did yesterday. Our parents listening to this right now, like, they're like, no. Sorry, Mom and Dad. You guys should retire here if you want to see me more. That's what I told my parents. They want a lake house. I'm like, get a house on Lake Travis. Duh. Yeah. I want to, like, wherever I do live, I know I need to have a body of water. And, like, it's perfect. Like, there's a lake. I see people on their boats every night at sunset going, like,

A little sunset cruise. Water surfing and whatever the hell you call it. I'm just like, that's so cool. Yeah, that is nice. One day. One day. We first got to upgrade from this apartment. Yeah, right? We got to upgrade from our little cubicle with our little studio in the corner. I love our studio. Never forget your roots. No, our roots were my bed. No, oh my God. Our roots was we podcasted on your bed in each of our beds. Zoom. Now we're at our own apartment. Yeah.

I don't know where we'll be next, but it will be definitely a little bit of an upgrade. Yeah, for real. Yeah, I feel like that's it. I increased my macros this week, but like... Oh, right. Bulking, duh. Yeah, duh. It's been a struggle for me mentally. I've definitely put on some, you know, weight. You guys are probably like, Sam, what the hell are you talking about? I literally keep on my shirt 24-7 when I'm working out because it's just like...

Yeah.

Yeah, I had to increase my food by a decent amount because the whole time I was traveling in L.A. and Nashville, I was under eating in Nashville. I was definitely under eating. And it's hard for people to get like with how many calories I eat because, yeah, we had three meals a day.

But in a day, I probably eat 700 to 900 calories in solely snacks. So I'm like, yeah, we're eating three meals a day, but like, it's not going to cut it. Like, I need snacks. Like, I need cereal. I need a bagel. Like, I need food. So I was 100% under eating. Came back pretty weak. Skipped like two workouts and had to bump up my carbs because I've been in the same weight for like a month. So we increased a lot. Like, we are eating so many carbs, so much food.

I'm not mad about it. It sucks. Like, I want to get uncomfortable because I want to do this for a reason. Like, I want to gain weight. Like, I've PR'd certain things, but it's not like a steady, I feel very strong. Like, sometimes I feel strong and sometimes I'm like, why is this the same? Yeah. Like, today my deadlift was really good, though. Like, today my deadlifts got really strong, but I'm like, is that from the bulk or is that because now I prioritize deadlifts? Yeah. You know what I'm saying? Like...

Because at the same time we started bulking, I started prioritizing my deadlift. So it's hard to say, like, is that because I've gained a bit of weight or is that because you focus hard on your deadlifts? Yeah. Hard to say. But I'm hoping...

That this helps me just eating a ton. And then when I'm going to go home, I'm going to try to stay really on it. Yeah. Because that's easy. I can go grocery shopping. I have a gym. The whole thing. So that'll be good staying home. And then Thanksgiving, I'm just going to eat. Yeah. So I posted an Instagram the other day and I talked about in the caption like how I'm feeling mentally. Like that day where I was like I didn't want to post that workout just because I thought I looked bad.

A certain way that I obviously don't look because I was just, you know, body dysmorphia was getting the best of me. And someone in the comments was like, how did they say it? They were like, what's the point of bulking or cutting if it's going to make you uncomfortable and you're upset about it? Like, why would you do that? I'm like, staying in your comfort zone is for the fucking week. Okay. I'm sorry. But if you are going to stay in your comfort zone and just...

slide around a long life you're not going to grow as a person like mentally so doing things like this yes it's going to cause uncomfort but that's how you're going to grow as a person mentally and I'm obviously going to be very thankful for this entire experience once I do feel a little bit more comfortable in my body but hey gotta do what you gotta do yeah I mean I'm a big believer in that I've used a quote a couple times like on like YouTube videos and stuff

That, like, good things never come from comfort zones. Yeah. And that's just true. You can't, like...

yeah, you need to get a little bit uncomfortable. How do you think you're going to push weight? How do you think you're going to build muscle mass? Like, you got to eat more. And it's not even like... Now, some people bulk and they gain, like, ridiculous amounts of fat. You don't have to do that, obviously. You don't have to, like, insane. Obviously, listen to our bulking episode. But it's like, you realistically don't look bad at all. Like, at all. And I feel like, like, obviously, she's getting to you a little bit. Like, sometimes you just feel puffy. Even though some days I've gone on here and I say, like, I feel really, like, skinny and small. And I'm like, why don't I...

feel like at least my butt is big and my legs are big. Like I feel still like skinny, which is just frustrating as hell. Which again, I don't think I'd ever years ago, if you told me I'd be on a mic being like, I feel skinny and it's pissing me off. Like younger me would be like, what are you saying? You know, like no one would look jack, dude. Like, like I want to like feel like it's actually working. So my bulk may last me a little bit longer. I don't know. Um, I think my metabolism is higher than I thought. Yeah. Yeah.

Which I don't know if I've been under eating without knowing. That's what I was going to say too. Me and Taylor talked about this the other day too. We were like, honestly, I think this was our signs that our bodies needed this, that we needed the increase because maybe necessarily at the very beginning of this, it wasn't necessarily a bulk. It was just catching up with your metabolism, like increasing that maintenance calories. So it's going to be really cool to go back when we work our way back down to maintenance and see how much higher our maintenance calories are going to be. Dude, we're literally going to cut at...

I'm probably going to cut, like, 2,500. Yeah. Which is, like, nuts. Yeah. So, like, that's the end goal, guys. You got to think end goal. Yeah. You got to think, do you want to cut at fucking 1,300? Do you want to cut at...

2,300. Yeah. Only 23. Like, you just gotta do it. We were in LA. I eat more than half those guys. Some of the guys were saying their calories. I was like, holy shit. I was like, I mean, I'm like the same as you. I was like, my calories are like this right now. And they were like, holy crap. Like, I'm only at like 1,900. I'm only at 2,000. I'm like,

Imagine if I... That's just like... That baffles me, a guy eating that much. I'm like, I eat like double the amount you do. Yes, I do. Like, and I'm hungry. Yeah. Like... And that's another thing too, is I've been waking up so hungry every morning and I don't get it. I'm like... I think it's just being put to use. Yeah. Like, I think our bodies are just running with it. We've been eating Pop-Tarts. That's our latest addition. I can't wait to have another one later. I know. They're so good. Someone DM'd me. They were like...

Isn't the sugar in Pop-Tarts so bad for your gains? And I was like, the diet culture. Like, fuck that. Fuck that. That literally is what we talked about with Obese to Beast. Yeah. Fuck it. I would have thought for, like, the longest time that, like, sugar... Obviously, give or take how much you're actually having day to day. But, like, if you're just having your, like, crappy sugar source is going to be one Pop-Tart throughout the day, that's not bad. But, I mean, if you're having a freaking Coke, like...

Pop-Tart, chips, like a bunch of shit, then yes, maybe, but like

That's why tracking macros, we said it last episode, is like it helps with like understanding like you just need to look at your carbs. Exactly. And fats. And the Pop-Tart does nothing in comparison to exercise six days a week. Yeah. Adequate water, adequate vegetable intake, sleep. Like the sugar doesn't... Yeah. The sugar doesn't matter. Like that's just so crazy to me that people have just deemed one Pop-Tart a day. It's like, isn't that going to kill your gains? No. This is going straight to my ass. Yeah. It's going straight to my ass. Yeah.

Pop-Tart? Didn't someone say that to you when you said something about... I can't remember what food it was that you posted. You were like, oh, this is going straight to the ass or something. Oh, yeah. So I post... A lot of times you guys might see I'm like Daily Bagel. I'm like... And I like joking, but like kind of joking and not because obviously more calories, more carbs grows your butt. But obviously it's not actually going only to my butt muscle, but I was just like straight to the ass. Like kind of getting people like, how do you like...

Get that to just the ass. How do you get it to only go to your butt? I'm like, I was like kidding. It's just like a little metaphor. Like it was just like, obviously it's not only going to my ass. I was just, it's more like hyping yourself. It's kind of like getting a good bulking mentality. Yeah. Like instead of being like, oh, this Pop-Tart sugar. Oh, it might make me bloated. I'm just like straight to the ass, baby. Yes. I say that all the time about such random things. I'll be like, this is going straight to the ass. I already know it. That's a, like, I was going to say later, but I guess alcohol doesn't count.

Yeah, no, alcohol doesn't count. That's a fucking liquid. It's also the worst for you ever. Alcohol is poison. But I guess speaking of alcohol, we're going to talk about like...

I mean, I guess, like, stuff we're just going to do for my birthday, but also, like, how to handle it mindset-wise. Because it's my birthday. It's also Thanksgiving. It's also going to be Christmas and then, like, New Year's. A lot going on. A lot of being out of routine. Celebrations. Celebrations, yeah. And, I mean, I feel like there's a lot of people's birthdays around this time, too.

There's a lot of people with birthdays around every time of the year. No, but around like November and just because Valentine's Day is nine months before November. Oh, that's a weird thought. It is. Okay. Fun fact. Okay. A lot of people are November babies. Anyways, but yeah, I know handling it can be a lot. I feel like especially for me, a 21st birthday, like it's a lot because you need to like party and go out. Like I went to Nashville with my friend and it was like,

I got to like party and go out. It's your 21st birthday. It's kind of like you have to. Like it's something in your life you need to do it. Like you only turn 21 one time. It's like you have to. It was a little brutal. Kind of felt disgusting and horrible. But I mean we had to do it. And I just had to remember that like that weekend out of 52 weekends of a year, it's whatever. Like the memories are more worth it than stressing about like under eating. Yeah.

Like, especially too, like the whole feeling like shit after going out, like the next like day or two days after, like you may not feel a hundred percent. Just remind yourself it's temporary. It's going to go away. You're going to be back to normal. One night of going out or two nights or three nights in a row is not going to kill your gains. Quote unquote. People always say that. Yeah. Unless you're going out one, two, three nights every week. Yeah. Every week. Then yes. But like one, like if you're doing it or even if you're going on vacation, so you want a week vacation.

It's not going to kill your needs. That was my first time going out in a month. Yeah. So like when you put it in perspective like that, which is like not a big deal at all. But I think there's different ways to look at it, especially with Thanksgiving too, with the terms of like kind of like restricting in preparation for something big like that. Obviously, we're having the opposite problem. We need to eat more. But I know a lot of people are on that. I don't want to gain weight into the spectrum. And you kind of restrict all day for Thanksgiving dinner. I freaking hate that shit.

And I know a lot of people do it and they're probably not like thinking about it in a toxic way. The camera fell over. Oh, fuck. We're recording this and the camera just fell over. I was trying to just like hint at it secretly. And then I remembered that we don't give a shit and I can say it on the mic. But yeah, the camera fell over. Anyways, that like I can't eat all day because I'm going to have Thanksgiving dinner and you can't really eat the day before and like cutting back on shit.

I feel like people like to say, oh, well, it only comes once a year, so whatever. But the way I like to think of it is like celebrations and stuff happen all year round. So if you just try to treat them like normal, like...

Follow your hunger. That's where people get fucked over is when they say it happens once a year. That's when they indulge because they are feeling very restricted and they feel like, oh my God, it's once a year. I got to take advantage of this opportunity. And then they just indulge on so much food to the point where they can't stop. And then maybe that night or the next day, they just are so upset with themselves because of how far they went into the whole thing.

eating aspect and it's like don't think of it like that don't think of it as a one time thing and this is your one opportunity to get a slice of cake or a slice of pumpkin pie like you can enjoy that whenever you're wanting and I think that's where the relationship with like

Alcohol or like desserts needs to be more understood where you should be eating these things more regularly. Exactly. Because it's like, yeah, Thanksgiving is once a year, but then there's also Christmas and your birthday and New Year's and your like summer vacation and spring break and Valentine's, all the holidays and things.

There are a lot. And if you think of every single one with the, oh, this only happens once a year. So like, like you said, I need to eat all the like, let's say like Christmas cookies right now. No. How about if you want a cookie any other day of the year, any other day, you can have one or two. Yeah. And you can have one or two, just follow up like your hunger. You want one, eat one and be done with it. Because if you want leftovers tomorrow, you can eat one rather than like going crazy. And then like, oh my God, you can't have leftovers the next day because you just like

You need to get back on track because you just went like crazy. Why not just have like one serving of dessert till you're full?

Wake up the next day. If you want more, eat more. Or maybe you don't. You probably won't because you just like handled your cravings like normal and moved on with your life. Yeah. This honestly, this subject, it like really like it doesn't trigger me, but it like really makes me upset because I look back on my experience with my food when I was really struggling with the whole restricting aspect.

I hated holidays. Like I didn't want to be downstairs in the kitchen. I didn't want to be near my family. I didn't want to be near anyone when we were singing happy birthday to somebody because I was just always so in my head. I'd be staring at that like cake or I'd be staring at the cookies and be like, no, Sam, you can't have that. You can't have that. You can't have that. Like you have to go to the gym tomorrow. Like you can't have that. Why don't we think of it in the way of now? This is how I think of it. Okay, I'm gonna have a slice of pumpkin pie. I'm gonna have a slice of birthday cake because tomorrow's workout is

Extra energy. Extra maybe PRs I'm going to be hitting. I'm going to use that food, the extra food that I'm eating, and take that with me for my workout the next day, next week. Doesn't matter. Yeah, exactly. We do that all the time. Oh, all the time. Anytime we get...

any type of like dessert or food or we're like, you know, let's go get like donuts today. Oh my God, it's going to be just great energy from the gym tomorrow because your body knows how to use it. The cake or the cookie or whatever is not just going to like cling to your body as fat. Like you're going to use it. It's not just going to sit there. Your body is smart and knows how to handle it.

I agree with what you said about the looking around like, oh, I can't have that. For me, it was like any like appetizers before, like when there's like trays of snacks out. Yeah. Because I'm like, I can't like snack because I'm the person restricting or not. I cannot stop when it comes to like chips. I'm also really like, do you like little pickles? I can like olives.

That's just so random. Okay, but that's... Oh, I love that shit. I could eat, like, little snacks like that. Oh, my God, forever. And I'd always think, like, oh, my God, like, can't, can't, can't. And especially because I probably didn't really eat lunch because you're not supposed to, like, eat all day before Thanksgiving. Yeah. So then I'd be starving. And I'm like, oh, my God, I literally can't eat all these snacks because...

I'm like, I'm going to like be too stuffed for dinner. I'm going to eat too many calories and like, and it's like, oh my God, like it's just not that serious. If I ate lunch and didn't show up starving, I'm like,

Just like move on with my goddamn life and take like two crackers and like not think about it ever again. This is like making me sad because I know that there are so many girls out there right now that are currently struggling. And I know how shitty it feels to be in that position, like out of control with your mind and the food around you. Like it fucking sucks. Like, and no one around you,

or can help. And it gets even worse when you have a family member look at you like, why aren't you having that slice of cake? Like, are you sure you don't want cake? And you're like, no. Are you sure? Like, come on, have a cake. Like, it's just once a year. Like, have the cake. And like those little triggers that like family members or friends will say to you make it even worse because then you get so in your head and you're like, okay, why am I not having, why is everyone else enjoying this? Like, why is it so hard for me to enjoy a slice of cake where they can all just have a slice of cake and it's no problem? So like,

I definitely feel for anyone that does feel like this right now, but I really hope that you can take away this episode before the holidays come. This is at a really good time and that maybe we can help you have a better relationship with food this week. Yeah, and it really just goes for anything that a fun celebration shouldn't have fear going up to it, which is why I think the whole other parts of the year, you need to work on building a relationship with food in your body that you can be confident in your choices. So you can't say, hey, I'm going to eat whatever I want.

whatever you want in that moment. But you can also say, but I'm okay with saying I'm not going to drink tonight. Or I'm okay with saying I don't really want dessert. Because maybe you had like a lot of dessert last night. And for you personally, you know you're not going to feel the best. Let's say your stomach's not going to feel the best if you eat too much like food like that for you personally. Like you got to be comfortable with like

You know what? I am going to say yeah to this tonight, but tomorrow I'm not going to let me let people feel not going to let people make me feel bad for saying like no to drinking or like no to dessert. Yeah. Because someone like us now, like I'm so comfortable with the fact like if I say no to dessert, I truly just don't want it. Yeah. I don't like and because there are some times where I will fuck up a donut because I want it. But like.

It doesn't... It's not... I don't have an attachment to it. It's like no big deal. Yeah. That's... And it's another thing to keep in mind, guys, is that you're not going to just wake up and the snap of your fingers one day you're going to have that relationship with food back or you're going to build that relationship with food. It's going to come over time. It's going to be very small steps forward to have that control over yourself. But...

One of the biggest things I think that you can take away from it is developing that 80-20% rule day to day. And I used to look at that and be like, that's so stupid. That's so silly. No, but like seriously, if you think of it that way, like all day, all day leading up, have a really good day of eating. End of the day, whatever you're craving, eat it. Our macro caps that we have at the end of the night are like pancake bowls with cookies on top. Pop tarts. Maple syrup, sugar-free, of course. But like either way, like...

Those taste so good and curb the sweet tooth and they're just like so yummy that it's like I don't think I would have done. If I was a restricting self, I wouldn't have eaten something like that that late at night or anything like that. No carbs after seven, girl. You're telling me I would have eaten a Pop-Tart when it was dark outside? I wouldn't have eaten a banana. So this is where I'm going with it. So if you feel you need to do the 80-20 rule –

I used to, what I used to have for like my little snack at the end of the night used to be literally just oats and water, oats and water. That's all it would be. It'd fill me up a little bit. I'd be able to go to bed. Then I started adding chocolate chips to the top of it. So then I would add like a tablespoon of chocolate chips. And then that's when I started to eat those chocolate chips every single night.

I started to realize, okay, these chocolate chips aren't doing anything to me. I can enjoy a serving of chocolate chips every single freaking day and nothing's going to happen. And that's when you develop that better relationship with food and you can keep adding and adding and adding. Don't just jump right into it and think that like,

oh my my relationship with food is better now because it's yeah it doesn't happen like that and you also got to take every holiday kind of day by day like let's say thanksgiving's thursday then you got christmas evening you got christmas and you got new year's you might have a birthday thrown in there a friend's giving there's probably going to be a lot of days from here on out that are like holiday parties start let's say thanksgiving's your first one or the friend's giving a few days before whatever it is eat breakfast eat lunch eat a snack if you're hungry eat to

to your hunger as you normally would. Eat dinner to your hunger as you normally would, but start with eating those meals before so that way you wake up the next day and you see that you survived. Yeah. That you lived. That you got to dinner and you're probably still hungry and you won't feel the urge to go crazy. And that's one step. Okay, you did it. You conquered eating breakfast, lunch,

and your Thanksgiving meal or your holiday meal and you lift. So I think for me it took seeing like, look, it's okay. Like it's okay. And don't do extra cardio the next day. Don't do anything like that. Go to the gym as normal. Maybe don't go to the gym, whatever. That's another thing. Don't make people feel guilty for the fact that like you're home for your holidays and want to go work out. I will lift my heart out. Like if it's your normal routine, do it. If you never work out and all of a sudden you're on the Stairmasters for two hours, do it.

that might be a little toxic. If all of a sudden you had a cheat weekend, treat weekend, whatever you want to call it, and the next day you decided to add sprints and stair masters into your routine, that says something. But if that's something you've done for months, then keep on with your routine. Keep going with your workout split. It doesn't matter, but start trying something little, literally, even if it's like, hey, before Thanksgiving this year, I'm eating a meal before. It's a huge step. Huge step.

My family growing up, every holiday would do like the monkey bread. Do you know what monkey bread is? I love monkey bread. So good. My mom used to make it all the time. But like it came to a point during my like very restricted like time that I wouldn't even eat that. Like I wouldn't eat that and my brothers would have the whole thing. And then I'd go to the gym, come back.

still wait all the way until dinner to have Thanksgiving dinner. And then that's when the whole thing with the desserts would happen. But it's just like Taylor said, breakfast, lunch, then your Thanksgiving dinner, which keep in mind this can be for literally anything. It doesn't have to be just Thanksgiving. And just enjoy those meals and have those desserts because I know it's so much easier. I'm just saying do it, do it, do it. Yeah, but I think it's just saying we've been there. It's not like we're saying it. And sometimes you need a little...

A little reminder. And I was going to say, like, let's say with the monkey bread, like, this is a prime example of, like, I'm going to choose what makes me feel good. So let's say my family's having breakfast. You know, for Christmas, we do kind of, like...

pastries and bagels and mimosas you know like not obviously not protein oatmeal yeah but um i love protein oats though exactly so what i was gonna say sometimes we just have like pastries out to like snack on because unlike me and sam not all my family are big breakfast people yeah i need a big breakfast little pastry and coffee's not gonna cut it and the mimosa

I'm not restricting myself that day, but I know what would make me feel better is probably not having alcohol at 9 a.m. For me personally, because I will crash. I mean, I would assume no one would say it makes them feel better. Well, a lot of people like a mimosa, but for me, I would be falling asleep. So...

That, to me, isn't worth it. I don't crave it. I don't want it. I don't care. So I'll skip it. Maybe, let's say there was monkey bread. I would rather make oatmeal and have a few pieces on the side. 100%. That's where I was going to go with that. Now I can pick up the monkey bread and be no problem. You can make oatmeal. Sorry, I just hit the mic so bad. Take a few pieces. If you guys don't know, it's little pieces. I'm sure people know what monkey bread is. Google it. So you could take...

Three, four little pieces. Eat them on the side with your oatmeal. Put them on top. Mom, make monkey bread. So you'd be like, that's how I would handle it now. And then some people maybe are like, no, I want the mimosa. But you could do without, let's say, pumpkin pie. That's your giver. That could be what your balance is. Like we talked about with Kelty, balance looks different on everyone. Maybe you're like, no, I am going to drink, but I could skip dessert. You're not a sweets person. It doesn't bring you joy to... That's like my mom. My mom doesn't care for sweets. Shit.

She does not need... She's the type of person that she takes one bite of a dessert. She's like, that's enough for me. It's too sweet. I don't like it. I'm the opposite. I will devour a pumpkin pie.

So, you know, that's the give or take, but like maybe she'll drink them. You know, like you got to know what's your, but I'm not going to sit there and be like, no, eat it. Like, you know what? Like you need to eat the dessert. She just doesn't want it. You know what I want the girls to do? I mean, I hope you guys are all still listening. We're only like halfway through the podcast, but Thanksgiving, take pictures, post them on your pages and tag us in what you're enjoying. More.

More of not in your normal routine for yourself. And just share it with us. We want to repost all of them. Make it very known on our podcast page that, hey, everyone is enjoying something different today. And that's totally fine. Yeah, exactly. And speaking of the exact food...

If you guys remember from our last episode, I kind of forgot about this, but we got a lot of comments about it. I think it really stuck with them. So I'm hoping that this can stick with you too. We talked about how a burger, like, so a burger is unhealthy. But if you have like a deli meat turkey sandwich with like whatever, that's healthy. When realistically, food wise, it's a bread and a protein. It's kind of the same. A Thanksgiving meal, what turkey, mashed potatoes, green beans. Yeah, there's a little bit of extra sauces and whatnot. But it's a little bit of a burger.

How different is that from like a normal like chicken, rice, and a vegetable? How – not that much different. Yeah, it's not that much different. And you know where I can see it being a problem for somebody is if you are in your restricting aspect of eating –

But you're using calories or macros as the restricting aspect. If you don't know how many calories or how many macros because you didn't make it, you don't know what the ingredients are, you didn't weigh it, that's where I can see someone being like, oh my goodness, I don't even know how much I'm eating right now. And hey, one day, one meal of not tracking your food is not going to hurt you. Exactly. So that's the difference because you might be like, wait, I thought it wasn't just one day or is it? Okay, in terms of tracking, yeah.

You can take one day a week off tracking and that's literally not going to cause harm. One day a week will literally not cause harm because you don't need such precise to the grams every single day. That you can take away once a week. But in terms of just like...

Your mindset around food and eating to your hunger and eating to not binge and restrict, that is the sense of like it's not just one day a year. Like you need to get that healthy mindset every single day. On the days you're tracking, on the days you're not tracking, holidays, whatever. You need to understand that it's not all or nothing. It's not that serious. It's just food. I hate that food is so like...

It's literally just food. Yeah, but it's social media. Social media has ruined it. Like for me back in the day with food being like such a trigger, it was Pinterest, it was Tumblr, it was those two things. But now it's TikTok. Like the amount of things where I'll just be scrolling and someone will say like good and bad when they're in the grocery store or like,

Just anything. I'm like, oh my God. Like if I was, it's so much worse now. If I was like a, like a younger kid and I didn't have like the resource like of you and I, like for somebody else. Oh my God. I don't even know where I like, where I'd be with my relationship. No, exactly. It, it took so long. And just all I want is someone to not sit at Thanksgiving and worry about if they're eating too much.

Yeah. It's just not worth it. Like I said, you don't need to eat. I was very much the type of person that was, I need to eat everything in front of me right now because then for the next month I'm being clean and I'm being good. Yeah. It would never happen, ever, because there was Thanksgiving leftovers and-

My grandma bakes and will bake things and have them and bring them over, bring holiday desserts over all month long. It's not like all of a sudden the only thing in front of my face was broccoli. Like there were things happening and things going on. I couldn't just, oh, I'm just never going to eat anything quote unquote bad. What did that even mean? Don't know for a month. But now I have a Pop-Tart every day.

So, like we said, we can eat a dessert and move on because guess what? Tomorrow I also get the dessert I want too. Yeah. Like, I get to eat a Pop-Tart. I can't wait to see everyone's, like, food that they tag us in. I'm curious to see what everyone's, like, favorite desserts are. I'm going to be having a cannoli this week. I already know it. I'm going to Mike's Pastries. I'm bringing a bunch of cannolis back. I'm enjoying one. I'm making a pumpkin pie.

Someone always ends up bringing a pie. I don't know. I honestly haven't talked to my family. I don't know what we're doing for Thanksgiving, whether it's at my house or my aunt's house. I don't know, but someone always brings a pumpkin pie. I'm going to make one. I used to make it a lot with my grandma, but now that I'm vegan, I've got to make vegan desserts. I may make two pies. I don't know. Last Thanksgiving, I made a lot of stuff. I'll chef it up. I'm in all this watering. See, like...

I just want you guys so bad. Like, you should think of it as, like, something so fun. Like, I'm just excited for a Thanksgiving meal. Nothing else. Like, not scared of it, not scared of, like, the sodium or the sugar and the this or the that. Like, it's just, like, it's literally just good times with your family. Like, you're never going to look back on your life and be like, should I eat less? Yeah. That Thanksgiving,

I really should have ate less mashed potatoes. When will you ever think that? Yeah. You're not going to look back four months from now on Thanksgiving and be like, damn, I really overdid it that day. Like, what the fuck?

All you have to remember is you have to do things that make you feel good. So that's getting your workout in the morning, going for your walk and your workout the next day. Drink your water. Drink your water. Get a good night's sleep. Make sure you do eat some greens in your lunch before. You know, get your vegetables in. I mean, because like I said, there's vegetables at Thanksgiving, but sometimes they're like...

loaded in like sauce and you know they're not like just like pure health it's like green bean casserole is like cheese and crap so you know you might want to just get some extra like veggies in drink your greens like do all that and then just have your meal and it's literally just gonna be good

And that's it. You got a yummy dinner. Yeah. You know, I'm just, my brain is just realizing this. There's a lot of people listening to this that probably don't celebrate Thanksgiving. So it's like, hey guys, please take this to any, like. This goes for literally anything. This goes for, like I said, it's my birthday. Yeah. It's my birthday. We're going out tonight. Okay. I ate breakfast.

snack, lunch. I'll be eating dinner. I'll be eating another snack before dinner. I'll be having a bagel and probably a Pop-Tart when I come home. Yep. Like it goes for anything. Like I said, Friendsgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas, a birthday, New Year's, like Valentine's Day. I don't know. Anything. Yeah. Like anything. You can apply this to any holiday. And even if

Because it sounds so basic, but even if this is just what you need to hear if you're struggling and you're getting ready for Thanksgiving, you just need to play it to remind yourself. If it can help one person, that's what I think every time we podcast or post anything. If I can help one person enjoy their Thanksgiving dinner without being scared of food. It makes me feel so good. That's all I want. Because I love Thanksgiving. Imagine this right now. We're sitting at a table right now, but imagine everyone listening was sitting at the same table as us right now.

We would need a big table. But I would love to have a big hearty meal with all of our followers. We're all going to eat it and like it. Carbs and sugar and all. I'm just picturing us all sitting at a table together, like a really long table, all feasting, enjoying things we don't have every day. Sam's smiling so much right now. He's literally grinning ear to ear. I'm so happy. I don't know why I'm smiling.

just like swirling in her chair. I'm not, I don't know. This subject makes me so emotional because I even have like some of my clients too that will like literally message me and they'll just be like, I'm having a really bad day. Like I overdid it or just like stuff like that. I'm like, I literally have been there before. It just like breaks my heart that like people still go through this. Like it really does. To the point that that like this Thanksgiving on a Thursday would ruin someone's entire weekend. Mm-hmm.

Just, like, fuck that, dude. Yeah. Like, I just want to, like, grab someone that's still, even after listening to this concern, just shake them and be like, stop. Yeah. Like, how do I get it through your head that it's okay? Yeah. And don't... Okay. Don't freaking weigh yourself the day after Thanksgiving. Yeah, you're just setting yourself up for success. Don't... I mean... Failure. Yeah, failure. Don't weigh yourself after you have this whole weekend...

I'm not going to weigh myself, dude. Like, I'm not going to weigh myself after going out on my 21st birthday. I'm not going to weigh myself after Thanksgiving. What? Why would you do that? Your body holds on to a little bit of water. It'll go away. It'll go away. Anything within one to two pounds, maybe even three. Sometimes it's more. One time Sam gained five pounds from solely drinking a hydro jug. Okay. Okay.

You could literally, but I'll say one to two to three is more like, I feel like accurate. That is probably nothing. I've literally said during my book, I'm like the scale went up two pounds, but it's probably, it might not even be real body weight. You could literally just need to go to the bathroom. Yes. Like that could be anything, anything.

Yeah, it is crazy because I honestly haven't weighed myself in almost a month because one either I forget because my water bowl is right next to my nightstand when I wake up in the morning and I chug immediately and I'm like, I can't weigh myself now. I just chugged so much water. But the one time I did chug my water, I weighed myself after and I think that had been the biggest mistake I had ever made. Yeah, she was freaking out. I gained like five pounds in one week and I was like, I had the worst day. I was like, no, I gained five pounds. But then I weighed myself the next day.

before drinking water and i was back to normal yeah i was like okay so don't weigh yourself after the meal and don't body check after you finish eating oh my god that's something i used to do i used to do all the time i'd lift my shirt up and make abs still there okay we're good i'd be like oh my god i'm so bloated yeah no shit where do you think the food went like the food is in your stomach it's gonna go away like it's gonna go away like it's not gonna stay there forever and i feel like in the moment you think like this is how i look now like i

Like, I'm just, I'm just huge. It's like, no, like it's just, why? Like I'm, I think I've said this on podcasts before, but one of my biggest achievements with like my body image is I don't do that anymore. Mm-hmm.

I've been there every single time I went to the bathroom and looked at my stomach and I don't do that anymore. And I used to do it every single mirror I walked by. Every single one. And I don't anymore. And it's possible. So it's another thing. You're going to eat your meals and you're not going to go into the bathroom and lift your freaking shirt up. Why? Like, what do you get out of that? Literally nothing. Nothing. You just make yourself upset. Yeah. It's...

I'm just thinking about, like, my old self, and I'm like, God damn it. Like, why? I know. It's so wild. It's so wild how much our, like, shift in all of that has gone. So, honestly, quickly, because it's been, like, I would say, I mean, I don't even know. No, it's been 45 minutes. I remember when we started at 1.30, it's 2.15. But, yeah, no, another thing, too, is, like, you're not going to – I've already said this, too, is, like, you're not going to wake up one morning and just be like –

You're not going to wake up the next day after doing something right once and be like, I have recovered from this. It's going to take some time and just keep reminding yourself that, but you'll get there. Every day is a step forward. She just touched my feet again. No. They were so far away. I have socks on this time. You were barefoot. You're clammy little toes. Fucking nasty.

You need to get a pedicure. I have a fresh pedicure, okay? It's gel and everything, so stop lying to the viewers because I paid a lot of money for this gel pedicure. Oh, God. So, Sam's a liar. No. Oh, God. Those toes are shaking nuggets. If I...

If you could post feet for free on the internet, I will not be- We're going to become OnlyFans for our feet. If I was comfortable posting my toes on my story, I'd post my freshly gel pedicured feet and be like, look how clean. You know what I used to do? When my following was much smaller, I'm talking 6,000, around there, I used to go get my pedicures and I would post my feet in the pedicures. Wow.

And that's one of my, I started to get those DMs being like, oh my God, baby, like I'll like spend all this money for like your socks or those flip flops you're wearing. And I'm just like, what the fuck? So that's why I've stopped ever since then. Well, yeah, my toes are freshly pedicured. I paid a lot of freaking money for them. So I don't like the slander.

Sam has protein farts. No, I don't. Someone, oh my God, someone commented on one of the TikToks and because I made the video about my protein farts and then someone comes on like a random TikTok that I made and was like, ha ha, Sam, like Taylor's not the protein farter anymore. It's you. And I was like, I was like, no, it's fucking not. Mine was staged. No, it wasn't.

Stop lying, dude. I slept in the same bedroom as you in Bradley Martin's and you kept fucking farting. I'm kidding, guys, okay? It's just funny. It's funny because, like, let's normalize farting, honestly.

Like, think about it. No one talks the way I talk on social media. Like, I've never seen, like, another, like, girl. Fitness influencer plus protein. Yeah, no other protein. No other protein. No other fitness influencer.

Talks about protein parts. Or like picking their nose. Name your dog's protein part. I pick my nose in like all the background of your videos. I'm just like scrubbing for gold. Everyone picks their nose and if you say you don't, you're a liar. Or like I'll do videos of me like. Picking your wedgie? Yeah, picking my wedgie or getting rid of my camel toe. So funny. But then I always get the guys like, ew, you're fucking disgusting. I'm like, didn't realize I was doing this for you.

We can't even get into random guys on TikTok. Guys on TikTok are fucking ruthless. No, we can't. Don't even get me started. But, okay. Sorry about that. No, if you guys really wanted us to have, like, one podcast, like, let us know. If you want us to have one podcast where we don't talk about something, like, informational and we just make you guys laugh for an hour, I will totally do it. Yeah. Just let's mute. What the fuck? Okay.

I guess Taylor doesn't agree. No words came out. Yeah, I know. Your mouth moved, but nothing was coming out. I was like, I guess she doesn't agree with me.

We should also, before we end this, is talk about the lives that we've been doing on the podcast page. Yeah, guys, they're so fun. If you're not following the podcast page already, definitely follow the podcast page because we are going to be doing our lives more on the podcast page rather than our regular podcast or our regular Instagrams because...

Anybody that's on the podcast page, like, we know you, like, are ride or dies for us. And we just love, like, doing, like, really funny things. And you guys are always like, oh, my God, it feels like I'm FaceTiming, like, my best friends. And we love that. So we're going to keep doing those around, like, dinner time a few times a week. No, they're actually, like, hilarious. And our neighbors, too. Oh, yeah. We give neighbor updates and you're like, what? What are the neighbors guess? You haven't joined a live and you should join. Yeah. But if you haven't, if you can't.

tell by all of us every time we're like make sure podcast page podcast page like we're doing this on our podcast page not our main page like our podcast brand is like the most important thing yeah so important like this this these are our people this is like what we want to do this is the information we like to give like this is us we it's not solely going to be just a podcast like we want to make a community out of this like we want to like someday like be able to like

Like envision like us having you guys a part of the community, not in just a way where you're a listener or you're a follower. Like we literally want you a part of the community as like people that like I can't say too much because like we have so many ideas and I don't want to spoil our ideas. But like, yeah, we just want you guys to know that like we love you guys so much and your support is endless and it's going to pay off.

down the road for you guys, for us, like everything. So just keep doing what you guys are doing. Yeah, but the podcast, like, it's just awesome. Another shout out to Sarah. Sarah does her Instagram and we are so happy that now we can start like,

Like, I don't know, making it more serious with her. It's so exciting. She does a great job. So just, I think we got a DM one time or a comment, like, Sam does so good with the graphics. She's made a few. It's Sarah. Like, not me anymore. Yeah. A few, like, the cover art was Sam. But it is Sarah. It's not Sam. Sarah's the best. Just a little plug. Yeah. Because we're doing great on the Instagram. We're almost at 20K. But this will be up in, like, three days. So maybe. Maybe.

Yeah, if we can get to 20K in the next few days, we will definitely be doing a giveaway for the podcast with the merch. So spread some love for the podcast page. Let's get it up to 20K. Yeah, we've done a lot of giveaways, guys. We did... We're doing one every Wednesday. We did our basket. Yeah, every Wednesday. Have we, like, said what that is on the podcast? We did it the first time. Okay, well, if you didn't know...

We post a post on Wednesday and we say to comment something and comment your Venmo. That's because we are Venmoing you money for an energy drink on us. Something small, but a little $5. So that way when you go to the gym that day, you're at a CVS, wherever you are, gas station, get yourself an energy drink on us. That's just why we do it. Yeah. Yeah. There's a few people a week, whatever. It's just a little way to just give back, you know, make your morning like that. Your energy drink is free that day. Exactly. Yeah. We just like to do that just for fun.

And then we did the giveaway with Kelty, which was so nice of her. And then we'll give away merch when we hit 20K. Exactly. All right, guys. Appreciate y'all. Thank you for listening, and we will see you on Friday. Fuckers. See you on Friday, fuckers.
